I feel bad posting this but would prefer to be honest. The food was essentially inedible. Covered in grease. Got the boneless wings, fried pickles, and loaded fries. The beer was also bad :/ the IPA was not up to par. The facility was beautiful though! And the bartender was super sweet! I will say I feel like if you came here at night in fall or winter the outdoor firepit and drinking area would be really cute! The food is just really bad right now.. the business is new so totally room to improve! But if you are wanting food and a good beer I would suggest elsewhere at the moment sadly read more

The beer was decent. The fried green tomatoes had no flavor and the loaded fries were cold. They didn't even melt the cheese.

Tried this based on reviews from Yelp. Not horrible, but not overly memorable. Pretzel appetizer was HOT when delivered, but didn't retain much heat. Beer Cheese was also very bland and runny. Needed a TON more cheese flavor. Burger was VERY GOOD. Wife ordered spicy chicken and couldn't finish it as it was just too over the top spicy. Service was adequate but again nothing memorable (and it was not crowded). A bit on the loud side, but hey, it's a brewery. read more

I am eager to share our experience with Iron Forge Brewery as we held our son's wedding rehearsal dinner there. First, Rani Dubal is very attentive and a great person. She communicated easily as we traveled a distance (St. Louis, MO). Since this was a destination wedding, we had more than usual attendance; there were close to fifty people attending. It was so nice to walk in there on the day of the event, and everything was ready. Emma Claudio was handling the event and had things running so smoothly that there was nothing for us to do. Emma was a professional in running the event. Cassandra took care of the bar. She was welcoming, pleasant, and always with a smile. Lilly was always attentive, too. I can't say enough good about the employees and their performance. The food was delicious, and the guests said they were impressed with the food, service, and environment. This was a great venue for a relaxing time, yet it was a classy event. BTW, there was a beautiful backdrop for photos in the outdoor area where they have activities, too. We had a phenomenal experience with Iron Forge once we connected with Rani and throughout our event. We give the staff, the food, and the establishment a five-star review and would encourage you to experience it! Thank you, Rani and the Iron Forge staff, you deserve more than five stars! read more

We visited Iron Forge Brewing this past weekend. To be honest, this was probably my 5th or 6th visit. Each time the experience seems to be better. The setting is great (a bit away from the traffic) and space itself is amazing. In my travels, I have found that most breweries are not restaurants. These folks have nailed the brewery - the beers are some of the best around. This is not just a brewery, but a restaurant, as well. on a cold, dreary February afternoon, the place was packed with not only folks like myself and friends (who came for the beer and stayed for the food), but also families with children of all ages. The beer is outstanding, the food is very good, and the service was great. The chicken wings were very good. The beers, especially the new offerings - Scottish style, are as good as any in the area. My only issue is that it about a 2 hour drive from my home. read more

Major thumbs-up to this emerging establishment, Iron Forge Brewing Company, which is brand new but which functions as smoothly as if it's been running for five years. The beers are great, and the food (at least the boneless wings with Nashville hot sauce) that I had is similarly commendable. (I can't wait to return and try the inferno smash burger next time.) The servers are friendly and attentive, and the overall environment - a sort of industrial look with indoor/outdoor capability - is laid back and pleasant. To get there, just take Apple Valley Road, skip past the overpriced tourist complex the Apple Barn, and hang a left. You'll thank me later. read more

This new place is going to be a great addition to places to go and visit when in Tennessee. This being new, there were some glitches. The food service will definitely need to be improved. Beer was solid, no faults, good mixture of options all well brewed. Service was terrible - Kids burger came out after ~50 minutes (my 5 year old said I don't like sloppy joes b/c it was so crumbly). 20 bottles of empty ketchup in the place, not a drop to be had - how does that happen!? After getting a shrug from the waitstaff we actually left after 1 hour still waiting on burger, fries and wrap. When paying for the drink bill they were clueless how things were so bad, they were like yeah we only have two cooks all the tables are waiting. Dude! Tell people things are backed up and limit menu options. Hopefully they get it turned around, it had potential but only provided a rough evening for our vacation. read more

Absolutely amazing! We went back again for a second night because we loved it so much! The owners and staff were very friendly! The food, gosh the food!!!! We had- hummus and pimento cheese platter, cheese curds, the pretzel, smash burgers, strawberry salad, and the boneless wings in the kickin bourbon! Amazing!!! Hot, fresh and full of flavor. We really enjoyed this place. We needed a place that was dog friendly because we had our 15 year old dachshund with us. It was really hot and we were allowed to bring her in. The food was great. I wasn't in the mood for a big meal so we ordered appetizers. The fried green tomatoes were delicious and crunchy. The Brussels sprouts were good, not great. Worth getting though. I ordered a charcuterie plate with vegetables, hummus and pimento cheese and it was incredible. The beer was good. We have another trip planned for later this month (September) and we will visit again. read more

Service was not great. Just because one thing is done way before another, does not mean you serve it and make an excuse. Waitress mixed up our beers, didn't know what they were, left them for us to figure out. Food was pretty good.
