First time there, one other couple in the entire place, we seated ourselves and had a woman yell out "you need to come up here to get a menu" when my wife got the menu she was told we needed to go up to the counter to place the order when ready. I went up to order and was yelled at because I forgot my mask at the table 10' away, I retrieved my mask, ordered and was talked into potato salad and told I had to get my own water at a different counter (water was warm and no ice) I paid and the kiosk asked for an 18-20 or 22% tip, I chose "other" and gave 10% because she didn't do anything but I didn't want anyone to spit in my food. . Other people arrived and she took them all menus. When some guy brought us our order it was wrong, I got green salad instead of potato salad but because we waited over 20 minutes already I didn't say anything. The food was disgusting unless you like salt and vinegar because that's all you could taste. The Chicken and roast beef were very DRY,DRY and the roast beef sandwich had no horseradish aole just dry (dis-colored" roast beef and a bun. The green salad dressing was vinegar. Went for a girls night after work on Thursday when they were doing trivia. Not the best location but when you walk in to the space it had a cool vibe with exposed brick, warm wood floors and industrial exposed ceilings. You seat your self and order at the bar which worked out fine. Out table had the Trashy blonde and blackberry sour ale which were both very crisp and clean. For dinner our table had the Thai pizza and Cuban sandwich. Both very good. The Cuban was probably one of the best I have had. Prices are good and a fun atmosphere. read more

I started this review with a 3-star rating, but the more I thought about the evening, I think i just wasn't in the mood for a noisy pub atmosphere. The Good - - High quality, tasty ingredients on their pizzas. - A wide array of local brews, including ciders (an amazing cranberry cider!). - Super friendly staff! The Bad - - Very poor acoustics, so difficult to chat with people at your own table. - Slow turnover, with limited seating. From the time we arrived, over a 2-hour period, no one left their tables, and we had to stand at some tables they brought out for us (no extra chairs, stools or benches). - Limited menu choices outside of pizza, sandwiches and salads. I live in Everett, Wa in Western Washington and anytime I drive near Spokane i make a point of stopping in. I first encountered this brewery like 3 years ago at a beer festival and really loved the sour I tasted. After that i made a point to stop when i drove through Spokane on my way to yellowstone. The service was wonderful and so was the beer and food. I then had a family member in the hospital in Spokane and this place was my go to for food and a place to relax and grab a bite and a brew. read more

Lots of interesting beer and good service (even though the bartender was also the server for the whole restaurant.) Help came in at 5, probably should have been scheduled for 4. The 3 meat pizza was good but don't think it will be loaded with meat. Their pizza is quite thin and not overly sauced or topped. The roast beef sandwich came without anything on the bread other than the meat, cheese and lettuce. I asked for the horseradish sauce and that made a big difference. They have their own take on a Caesar salad. It's a grilled heart of romaine with a few cheese shavings and seasoning. It was so lightly dressed that all I could taste was the romaine. A bit more salad dressing would have helped. It is a fun place, though. We'll stick to the brews and an appetizer when we go again. read more

A robotic goat served me a flight of six beers. Those beers are ok. Not so impressive, but their good effort are made right here in Spokane. I tell you this place is humble and friendly. Nice folks come here for beers and good pizzas. Yes, my girlfriend and I tried this first pizza here. It's called, "Dates". It got a tad of salt, a tad of sweet, and is simple. Easy to eat. My husband just absolutely loves beer especially the new ones that been coming out over the last many years. Not budweiser, course, etc. But real beer. He's been here before in really enjoyed it and since we were in town visiting we went there for lunch and a beer. The two people at the counter, helped us and figuring out what was going to be best for the day. I have never drank beer before, but wanted to at least give it a try. Our server was excellent and knew right where to lead me. She gave me a couple of samples of the sours, and I started with a lightest one. It was so good that they may have converted me from all of my wines that I've enjoyed to starting now with a sour beer. We then had a second drink, and I had the black raspberry sour. At first reminded me of a sweet-tart and even was a bit more sour than the first one. After the second drink I fell in love. We're here for two more weeks and I know we'll be back at least two more times. They had a special of the day type of pizza. These are the ingredients, Chicken, goat cheese, caramelized onions, crumbled sausage, red pepper, a balsamic reduction, basil or arugula. I don't think it's on their regular menu, but it had to have been the best pizza I've had in my life. If you're in town both my husband and I highly recommend iron goat. read more

We tried some of the beers like the Cap'n Kidd and the dry fly stout and Bob's your uncle robust porter. We both enjoyed the Cap'n Kidd which is a scotch ale. We ordered the special pizza of the week which had chicken and jalapeños and basil with a white sauce. The crust was delish! It had just the right amount of burnt to the crust to give it that extra kick of taste. The jalapeños gave it quite a kick of spice. Mouth still is on fire . This place seemed very popular. There was a line to the door from the counter when we arrived. It has a small menu and of course a SLEW of beer options, their own and various others, and a few cocktails. I ordered one of their limited seasonal beers. It was pretty good and tasted like it was labeled so that's the positive. The negative is that I am a disabled veteran and have a service dog. It isn't a vicious mongrel that haphazardly receives the label for convenience; she is a Labrador retriever that is an actual service dog. Because businesses are weird I called ahead to clarify I had her and would bring her and if that was ok or if there would be an issue. I was told she was welcome and there would be no problem. Fast forward to our arrival. We are standing in the extensive line and immediately one of the baristas comes around the counter to inform us that our service dog is not welcome in the main establishment and that we would have to consume whatever we order in their outside patio area. Luckily it was nice out. No so lucky is there is NO SERVICE in the patio area. You have to order inside and carry back out. Which means getting back in the extensive line. First impressions since our group didn't stay long. We had a few in our group that wanted a change of pace from the normal carb load. However we did have a couple drinks and the beers here are pretty decent. My co-worker got a sampler and he key me try the impaler an that is what I'll go for next time and I want to try some of their food since I've heard good reviews. The Drink: I ordered the Farmhouse Ale. It was a good beer but I just want in the mood for that type of beer I guess this day but I may later? Establishment: It has a cool vibe I certainly dig. I never vistas the old location but I really enjoyed my time here and so did my co-workers. After reading the wonderful reviews we went for Valentine's Day lunch today, and disappointed is not descriptive enough. My soup was slightly chicken flavored rice and my husband's spaghetti special didn't arrive until about fifteen minutes after my food was brought to the table. And we counted, nine peas in the very small noodle portion. Needless to say, eating lunch alone isn't that romantic. If you don't drink beer and drink water, I would recommend bringing a bottle of water along. The water was warm and mine had a suspicious strand of something foreign in it. I don't even want to give one star, the service is so terrible. The bar staff is incredibly rude, and it's not the first time I've been there. I witnessed a customer at the counter who was patiently waiting while the blonde female bartender was carrying on a conversation with two off work employees (and there were many explatives in the conversation...ex: F**k ) and she repeatedly ignored the customer.
