Wonderful brewery with really cool decor. They have a pretty awesome membership club if you like to vest in them. They only give out a few memberships a year but you can always request to get on the list if a membership opens up. The food is all made fresh everyday. The create their own doughs and stew the meat for top notch flavors. The beer is really good too. I had headbutt and liked it pretty well. My husband and I shared a pretzel with their in house made beer cheese made from one of their blonde beers on tap. The gal that helped us was very helpful and funny. read more

Came here with a large while in town for work. The folks here were very accommodating with our group. Ordering couldn't be easier since you do it all at the bar before you sit down, again great for a large group. The menu options were fantastic with many gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. A friend and I shared the best salad and the fig pizza with goat cheese instead of blue cheese. I could eat this pizza every day if I had a chance, it was so good. Great brewery with lots of beers on tap (maybe 15-20?). The food is really good for a brewpub, though the portions are a bit small for the price. Food comes out pretty fast too. There is a decent patio in the back. The brewery is also super inclusive--they have pride flags everywhere and the bartenders are super nice regardless how you present. read more

This place is amazing. So many different beers on tap, and amazing pizza. Who doesn't love pizza with their beer? Their stout is amazing, I've finally found a stout beer that I can enjoy, still searching for an ipa I can enjoy. Their pretzel with beer sauce is to die for! From now on I'm asking for beer sauce with fries in future restaurants rather than ranch. Ranch is played out after having some amazing beer sauce. Incredible discovery. I've been away from Spokane for 18 years and have always missed it. Live in CO, land of nearly 500 terrific microbreweries. This beautiful town always had so much potential for revitalizing the downtown and it is happening. Stopped in because of the ratings. It came up when I asked Siri for the best lunch nearby. Ordered the mushroom pizza w added prosciutto. Amazing! Ordered the imperial IPA "IMPALER", also very good. Everyone is very friendly. Great renovated warehouse atmosphere and great music. This is the perfect micro brew and gastropub experience. So happy for Spokane. Wish I never moved away. read more

A brewery that S. loves and that I can get a GOOD glass of wine (as opposed to wines designated only by color, as in, "we have red or white.")?? I'm in. Plus, they have a good food menu. Not heavy pub-fare, but delicious fresh salads, creative and tasty soups (the lentil I had was incredible). The space is cool, figuratively (industrial decor, interesting local art on the walls) as well as literally--quite comfy in summer, and not too much AC. And they offer an array of board games for people who want to linger and play. It's a place I will happily return whenever S. gets a hankering (oh yes, and he loves the beer, so there's that, too). read more

DO NOT GO HERE! SERVICE QUALITY IS BELOW POOR! I was at Iron Goat about a week ago with some family and friends. We ordered a Thai pizza, pasta, and a Second Ave pizza. The friend that ordered the Thai pizza got theirs along with the person who ordered the pasta. The pasta that came was about 3 bites worth, and it didn't even cover half the plate, so we felt a bit jipped over the price-to-portion ratio. In regards to the Second Ave pizza I ordered at the same time everyone else ordered: it showed up an hour late. I asked our server (a larger woman with short unruly grey hair) if my pizza was coming, and she said "it's just coming out of the oven." So I waited. Another 10 minutes go by and still nothing. I call her over again and ask what it's at, and she said "the kitchen messed it up so they're making [me] a new one". ANOTHER 15 minutes go by and still NOTHING. At this point, it's been 45 minutes and everyone else has finished their pasta and pizza, and they're getting to-go boxes. I ask again where the pizza I ordered almost an hour ago is, and the server says, "I'll check." She goes and she FINALLY returns with my pizza (which was scorched into charcoal on the bottom)...in a to-go box. Obviously, the service here needs some work. I do not felt I was heard by our server, or other staff members, nor was there any solution that was offered to mend the mistakes made by this business, and I certainly did not feel welcome to eat the hour-late meal at their table. Will I ever go back? Absolutely not. read more

Iron Goat's new brewery on 2nd and Adams in Downtown Spokane is really cool. I love the gritty, industrial space. It is renovated beautifully with high ceilings, garage doors, nice dim lighting, and local art. I'm really excited about this new piece of beauty in this section of West Downtown. You are walking distance from River City Brewing, Tacos Tumbras, and Browne's Addition. However, it is also walking distance from the Downtown core, etc. so I hope many tourists can check out this place often mentioned by locals as their favorite brewery. They also featured a very delicious One Tree Hard Cider on tap (Crisp Apple) for $5. Service was at the bar only. There are huge tables for groups to mix and mingle around. I can't wait to come back in for live music soon! read more

Went here for lunch yesterday after visiting riverfront park. Heard their Cuban sandwiches were to die for. Being Im traveling from south Florida I needed to see if it was true. Ended up ordering their pizza special because it sounded so good. It had roasted chicken, barbecue sauce, corn and they got me at cilantro. Two other people in my party ordered the Cuban so I knew I would get to try it anyways. It was so good! I especially loved the soft bread. It was warm and easy to bite into. That's one of my complaints of the traditional Cuban sandwich. The bread is sometimes hard and can cut you when you bite into it. The flavor was amazing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Cuban was so good I ended up taking one to our Airbnb for my husband. With no pickles of course and they got it right. The sandwich arrived without pickles, lol. My husband was happy and really enjoyed the sandwich. The pizza special was delicious too! It had great flavor with a little kick to it. I like spicy but not to spicy because I want to actually taste and enjoy my food. They got it perfectly with this one. Good job guys! Will definitely come again before I leave the area. Really delicious pizza and great beer options! Nice atmosphere too - would recommend the fig prosciutto pizza.

There's a lot to like about this place: 1.) Selection is large and well-curated. ABV and IBU information is on display. Pours were very good and they seem to have the backend stuff like temp control, glass cleanliness, pressure etc. well in check. 2.) Prices are reasonable on beers and just a tad high on food. 3.) Food is pretty dang excellent. I wasn't expecting much but we got some knockout pizzas here. As good as dedicated pizzerias IMO. 4.) The space is large and inviting, perfect for meeting bigger groups or chilling in the corner with your D&D crew. The one drawback is that it isn't full-service (no wait-staff) but to me this isn't a huge deal. I don't mind ordering at the bar, and getting the drink brought out is a bonus. They also did a great job keeping a tab running and the line moved quickly. read more

Had such a great time having beers and pizza! The beer was good, our table tried several but trashy blonde was the fav along with the seasonal blueberry apricot. For pizza we were all blown away. The Thai was amazing. The one with pork on it was also very good and the mushroom with added sausage was just as tasty. The pizza comes out pretty quick and is enough for two people to split. While visiting Spokane, I tried to visit as many breweries as I could...and wound up at Iron Goat twice. My first visit was on a Tuesday afternoon and I figured I would start my Spokane Brewery walk here as they were one of the few places open. I got a flight, a pretzel, and a wedge salad. The bartender was incredibly kind and patient; the beer was all great (and, come on, how can you resist goat puns?), and the food was simple, but good. The second time was two days later on a Thursday night. A LOT of the kegs must have kicked and the selection seemed like it was 1/3 - 1/2 less than it was just two days ago. I think visit one deserved five stars and visit two would have been a four star, but I'm goatally going to round this one up. read more

Not being from Spokane I wasn't sure where the locals went on a Saturday night, but this seemed like a nice spot with a mix of younger people and some families. Our group tried the "Goaterade", Trashy Blonde, and Ales for ALS IPA. We all really enjoyed our beers and didn't have a clear favorite of the three. For pizza we got the special and the veggie pesto, both were good but a little oily. The only reason I can't give five stars is the bartenders and staff weren't particularly friendly or inviting, but despite this had a nice evening here. read more

Iron Goat has an awesome vibe and definitely a great brewery spot to hang out and grab a brewskie! The staff was friendly and helpful and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely check out the patio to at least get a picture of the mural if not sit outside! The pizza looks amazing and they have a well developed menu. However, I ordered the burrito of that week, a bahn mi burrito, and was sorely disappointed. The burrito looked giant on the plate but that's because it was stuffed to the brim with plain white rice. I was hoping for a little more "stuff" or more of a flavor profile but felt like I was eating rice in a tortilla. I'll definitely be returning to get some pizza though! read more

Have tried two different times and always feel as though they skimp on the toppings a bit compared to the pies pictured on their Instagram. Here for Inlander Restaurant Week - ordered some items that are on regular menu and some special for this week. Brewski Blonde Ale was wonderful. As was the beet salad andBacon jam bruschetta for appetizers. Crab cakes were great - just the right amount of spiciness. Cherry panne cotta was very flavorful; I've had better, but that was in Italy so I really shouldn't compare! We will definitely return! Service from host, bartender and waitstaff was excellent. This place is bomb af. I went for the first time last night and they have such an excellent array of beers on tap. We didn't try any of the food, but sat at the bar and tried a variety of the brews. The bar tenders, Katie and Tasha, were SUPER nice, helpful, and friendly. They had great recommendations and were very attentive. I honestly wish I could give this place more than five stars. We were total assholes and stayed WAY past close, drinking and talking to them, but they were super chill about it and really nice. They also sell Malted Mutt biscuits, which are made from used hops and dogs love them! read more
