Came in for a drink after dinner. Bartenders were on it. Checked on us multiple times. Large inside and outside seating areas. Clean and dim lighting. They have a full food menu.

    Tasty oysters!

Service was outstanding as were the oysters! But the highly recommended fish and chips were a bust for both of us.... why? Because both orders were very over cooked! I mean dried up under the basically burned batter. The chips part were pretty tasty. But we both were still hungry after a dozen oysters and entrees of fish and chips so we ordered another dozen. The oysters were very fresh and pretty good size....a dozen is $16 and the entrees were $16.95 and even though we let management know we paid full price. So I can honestly say I've had much better meals for $75 plus tip. We should've tried the Friday night prime rib! They were putting out Christmas decorations...

This is the place to go sit quietly at the bar to watch a game. The service was ok. Not overly attentive but did the job. Good beer selection and fun appetizers. Tried the flash fried Pretzel bites. Different but tasty and worth the try!

We came here on a Friday night after an eventful day at the Aquarium. We are a family of 8 and were given a high top table right away. Our server was great and very attentive. Lots of orders and they all came out correct. I got the Brussels sprouts and they were okay but nothing amazing. We ordered the Texas grilled cheese, wings, fish tacos, nachos, gyro , and steak fries. They were all good. I ordered a Kentucky mule and that was very basic. Nothing special. It was a good meal when in a pinch. Server was very quick and tentative and we appreciated that very much.

Bangers and mash that are not what you actually order

We are in town visiting family and celebrating our anniversary. The Atmosphere and drinks are great, and the waitress was nice. However, we came here specifically for the bangers and mash. When it came out, the bangers were served over tater tots. When we re-read the description, it says tot smash, but we didn't realize that meant tatertots. My husband detests tatertots...so you can imagine the disappointment. My husband wanted bangers and mash, and were excited to come here. It was very disappointing. This is advertised as a British pub/tavern, but obviously they missed the mark. Also, the photo below is from THEIR website. I got a lobster grilled cheese. It was very fishy. Overall, we wouldn't return and don't recommend the food.

We were looking g for a British themed restaurant and found the Iron Horse Tavern. Nothing too fancy - just the way I like it. The service was stellar. We were greeted right away and the server checked on us just the right amount of times. The food was spectacular- I got the meatloaf which was recommended by the server. It was awesome. My buddy got the fish and chips. Everything about the place was great. A relaxing, comfortable environment with great food.

Since the pandemic, my criteria has changed in choosing a place to stop for lunch. Is there outdoor seating? Does it look relatively clean? Yes? Sold!!! And that's how we ended up at Iron Horse. Coming from the art fair in downtown Norcross, I had an irresistible urge for a burger. With a nice covered patio and no wait, this seemed like a good choice. And it was. Sort of. I ordered the California Burger which comes with grilled mushrooms, swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato. The photo I took looks good. However..... the ratio of bun-to-burger was off. The patty was dwarfed inside the roll. And there was a paltry amount of mushrooms, a little bit of cheese and a slice of tomato that I had to dissect to make palatable. The burger itself was good. Nicely grilled, albeit a little more done than the medium rare I requested. I like having a choice of sides -- I appreciate the generous portion of salad -- and the hardworking staff is friendly and on-the-ball.

My wife and I have been singing karaoke at the Iron Horse now for 14 years!! Time flies when you are having fun. For those of you who have stayed away for a while, come on back!! A wonderful group of rotating DJ's offer a collection of over 40,000 songs from the 1940's to the present day. Any genre you care to mention!! The fun begins at about 9:30PM and goes until about 12:30 or so. Finally, for those of you who might be nervous or afraid about singing in front of people, don't be. My 3 pieces of advice to you. #1-You are not being graded. #2-There isn't a Sony recording crew doing a vidio of you. #3--And most importantly: The drunker the audiance gets, the better you sound. The ONLY essential requirement: that you have fun! Food! WOW!! So where do I start with the upgraded menu? Here some of my new favorites: Brunswick Stew, Bangers and Mash, the Tuscan Wrap, The Cod special and the Kielbasa appetizer. Beer! My favorites, from a great tap selection, are Guinness, Smithwicks, the latest Sam Adams rotating ale and Sweetwater 420! Service! Great! The wait staff is top notch. Two final things. The addition of about 7 or 8 new TV's and new and improved sightlines to the front from new tables replacing some of the booths.

We are driving to Greenville and needed to stop for lunch. Used Yelp to find a restaurant on the way that was dog friendly Score!! Nice patio! We both had great salads and an enjoyable visit on the patio outside. Fresh ingredients and water for #clydetheboxer. Our waitress was great. Very friendly and did a great job considering she was the only server in the entire restaurant. This place needs to step up efforts to get more servers. Really cute and quaint town. Stop by you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.

We have been going to Iron Horse for years. Food is always good and service is usually good and today service was excellent. I call it a hole in the wall place with good food. The fish and chips are good and the Dunwoody Doozie has always been a great burger.

Terrible service, food was ok if you like it on the cool side. Prime rib was barley warm. Had to wait on the check for over 10 minutes.

Had my Irish Fare there today. Service was excellent, corned beef and cabbage plate was very generous and delicious and the beer was cold.

What could you improve? Definitely customer service! A bartender named "T" that worked here on…read moreWednesday evening around 4PM on 3/11/26. Girl please pray! I had gotten here around 4:30PM and went to the pool table, I had been waiting close to 15-20 minutes to be served. I just went to the bartender with a slicked back bun and wearing a burgundy shirt named "T" to ask for a drink since my friend had gotten there before me and said she had taken his order prior to me getting there. After waiting about 3 minutes at the bar, she approached me and rudely asked if I had been sitting by the pool tables. I replied and said "yes I'm sitting near the pool tables" and she responded rudely again and said she couldn't take my order and the server sitting in my section would take it. I had told her "okay, well I have been sitting here for a while waiting to be served and I wanted to order a drink" and she responded and said "well we didn't see you over there, go back to your table and I'll get your server" The server named Dom, took my order and I asked him for her name since he either saw/heard what happened. Bless his heart for trying to rectify the situation by bringing the food out quickly and being more pleasant. What makes the story worse, is that this bartender (after she yelled at me) went back to the pool tables where we were sitting to take away plates for another table she had already served and they were sitting one table over from us. So she served them (males) and my friend (another male) and felt like she refused to help or serve me. Overall, I would come back but definitely steering clear of that rude bartender that was very sarcastic and had a nasty attitude. Definitely go there on weekend nights when different bartenders are working and aren't as rude.

The vibe here is always chill with all types of people of varying ages…read more They have a ton of T.V.'s everywhere with different sports channels. I believe they have two pool tables and four or so dart boards. The pool is always popular, but the darts are almost always available the few times I've visited. The food and drink prices were pretty reasonable. Food quality is pretty average for bar food. You know how it is. Nothing of the extreme spectrum of gross or amazing, just right in the middle. I have a receipt from three years ago because I wanted to remember certain drinks that was ordered. Well... The Irish car bombs for instance has not increased in price: $7.50. I can't believe some of their prices haven't changed in years. But their drink selection has all sort of types and prices. I used to frequent the Peachtree Corners location, but that location has since closed down. This newer location is pretty spacious inside.
