I had a late lunch here with my parents who were visiting from out of town. There were not many…read morepeople in the place on a Thursday afternoon. We had our choice of tables. We ordered from the lunch specials menu, which we felt was a great deal. I had the Harvey Classic burger that came with seasoned fries. My father had the corn dog (Dawg) and mother had a burger as well. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and accurately. Everything was hot and delicious. I was so hungry I forgot to take any photos. Very satisfied with the meal. Service was friendly and professional. Our server checked on us enough. The indoor space is decorated with sports theme. Where I was sitting the walls were painted with World Cup pictures and jerseys. There were also three TVs: two showing World Cup games and the other showing a sports talk show. The outdoor picnic tables and rooftop area would be super in the cooler temperatures of evening.

I don't know WHAT is happening in the kitchen back there, but they definitely kicked things up a notch because everything I had was FANTASTIC during my last 2 visits. The beignets are probably the best item on the menu, but to be honest, I don't have one complaint about the wings (I got Honey Hot and they were well-flavored and saucy, just like I like them), and their cheese pizza has always been great. Also had the cinnamon pretzels and they came hot and so good, especially with the side of cream cheese dip. The rooftop is always cute for a hang-out (and, contrary to the downstairs area, remains for those 21 and up). I can't think of a time where The Harvey is suggested, and I don't want to go so I hope they keep doing what they're doing, because it's one of my favorite spots to hang out in Chamblee.

BW has won the last two years Burger Week so I had high expectations. Also looking at the menu, I will be certain to visit again as it had some awesome looking burgers listed. The Burger Experience The description promised a lot: a double 1/4lb burger on a toasted brioche bun, loaded with fried mozzarella, crispy bacon, sweet-smoky bourbon bacon jam, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomato. While the burger was definitely tasty it sadly missed  the mark as vibes didn't  match the promo photo or description. Maybe it was due to Burger Week Kitchen Fatigue, who knows but I hope the kitchen sees this review and steps up their presentation.  Comparing the promo shot to the actual burger was a big miss. The promo showed a perfectly architectural tower with massive onion straws, while the actual burger relied more on the fried mozzarella and bacon for bulk. It was a solid burger, but the kitchen missed the mark IMO. The Sides & Service The real star of the show might have been the Waffle Sweet Potato Fries. I asked for them to be extra crispy, and the kitchen nailed it--perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. As for the service, it was just okay. It was a busy Saturday afternoon during a Burger Week so it was a packed house, so while it wasn't stellar, it was functional. In fact, the table next to use was seated after us, had more people 4vs2 and  they served and nearly finished before our food even arrived to the table. Final Verdict If you're in Norcross it's worth a stop to check out B&W based on the menu options but don't expect too much from the Burger Week Burger.

They are still trying to hire enough staff to handle the crowds. Have patience. I sat at the bar both visits and had a good time. Plenty of TVs and I had a good time. Second visit they were doing Trivia night (Tuesday). I tried the $3 draft beer which was not a light beer. It was an IPA that was full of flavor and quite refreshing. The beer was only $3 because it was not selling and they wanted to get it out. Friday and Saturdays are $1 wings (minimum 8). I got the buffalo lemon pepper wings. You cannot see the lemon pepper seasoning but the wings taste extremely good and are the right level of crispy. I got the ribeye covered in blue cheese butter with fries and brussel sprouts. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and is a good steak. The fries are decent. The brussel sprouts are good. I got the Black and Blue burger. They forgot the bacon but brought it out to me quickly. The sweet potato waffle fries are some the best I have ever had. They sprinkle some type of powdered sugar on them. I will come back for the fries alone.

It took someone 10 minutes to walk by our table so we could ask for our server. The restaurant is packed because of the Georgia game (yes I'm writing this in real time because I'm so over it lol) so I could understand the initial slow start, but we've had to ask multiple times for our missing drinks and food. We asked for water twice and gave up honestly. The strawberry lemonade and Philly egg roll hit for me. The salsa verde tacos were awful, neither of us wanted more than a bite. The server said they're known for them but I need to know who is craving these things... SO many tv's so come watch your game and grab a drink. The food didn't seem worth the headache at all. I didn't give them 1 star because the green tea shot was huge and only $5.
