Had a clogged toilet that wasn't fixed with a 6' toilet auger. Called Iron Mtn at 10am and someone was here before noon. James and Ty arrived and I explained the problem with the toilet. They used a camera to check the pipes. This one was a little tricky because the toilet drain pipe had a lot of 90 deg turns at the beginning. The camera showed gunk clogging up the pipe. In this case, they had to cut a hole in the wall to access the vent pipe to cut into it and put in a tee fitting to give better access to the drain lines. They hydro-jetted the pipes, first passes with a stronger pressure head, followed by several passes with a smaller head. They then stuck the camera back in and showed that the lines were clear. Since they had the camera in, James snaked it all the way to the front of the house where it meets the city sewer line, just to make sure there were no other blockages. James and Ty were very nice and friendly. They answered my questions as they did their work, and let me see the camera video as they did it. They laid plastic sheeting along the path through the house to protect it as they were using a hose run from a pressure washer in the driveway to the bathroom in the middle of the house. They always used shoe covers and cleaned up everything when they were done. James also texted me the camera video of the pipes before and after the hydro-jetting for my records. Price-wise, I don't know how good of a value it was, since they were the first plumbing company I contacted for this problem, based on their good yelp reviews, but since they came within a couple of hours and I really needed it to get unclogged, I went with them. I am very satisfied with their service. Will definitely use Iron Mtn in the future for my plumbing needs. read more

Called iron Mountain because my bathroom sink was clogged. I had cleared the drain stop and the P-trap myself but it was still backed up so had them come out to fix. The owner Kevin was great and scheduled appointment quickly. Tayler came the next day and used the snake to go about 5 feet into the drain and pulled out the clog of hair/sludge. She filled the sink with water multiple times to confirm it was draining fast and no leaks then cleaned up nicely. Cost was $175 which was the quoted price from Kevin and I felt was reasonable. Overall experience was efficient, clean, and professional. I would recommend and use them again. read more

Came downstairs on a Friday morning to water dripping from our ceiling. Honestly have not needed a plumber in many years and had no idea who to call. Naturally, I turned to Yelp and Iron Mountain was one of the first companies to pop up, and every single review was great. I followed up with a search on our community's Facebook page to see if anyone had used them, and was happy to discover that they were recommended over and over on several different posts by many different people. So I gave them a call. Kevin was just as friendly and professional as many reviews said he was. He was in the midst of a time-consuming job on that Friday afternoon but still made time to stop by on his way home to at least take a look and see if he could determine where the leak was coming from and stop it so it didn't continue to leak throughout the weekend. He found the source of the leak right away (upstairs bathroom toilet) and thankful for us it was a small leak which we were able to contain until he was available to come back and complete the job. He fit us into his schedule the following Monday and returned to our home, completed the job and besides the small hole in our ceiling you would never even know he was here. Reached out to Kevin at Iron Mountain Plumbing when I thought I had some issues with my plumbing. Kevin was very responsive in getting back to me and unlike most other plumbers did not charge me to come look at my issue to give me an estimate. Most of the other issues I realized just needed some maintenance so did not need his expertise but he was able to get me a fair price on the resin replacement my water softener needed. I was in contact with 2 other plumbers and both were a lot slower to respond, with 1 not even sending me an estimate as requested, and the other that did stated that he wasn't able to get the resin from Clack which Kevin was able to with some phone calling. Kevin was thorough and explained everything very well, would highly recommend! TL:DR - Kevin did an amazing job and gave me a fair price on replacing the resin in my water softener and also cleaned my brine tank which he noticed was not functioning to its full capacity from build up in the bottom. I highly recommend Iron Mountain Plumbing for the following reasons. I detected a leak from what we thought was the upstairs bathtub to the downstairs bathroom, which is directly below. I called the business number and Kevin the owner promptly picked up. I gave him a brief summary of what we thought the problem was and he said he could send somebody out between 2-4 pm. He sent James, which actually showed up about 20 minutes early after sending a text saying that he was on his way. He was very polite and thorough and spent quite a bit of time trying to detect where the leak was coming from. After checking all possible places he was not able to detect any broken pipes. He did say that a restoration company could come out and take a look at it. He cleaned up after the job & was able to refer us to a Restoration company. He did not charge for the time & effort that was put in trying to find the leak. We advised him that we would be calling him back at a later date for some plumbing work that we would like to have done. We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom that was clearly visible on the ceiling of our kitchen. We called Kevin in a panic since water damage needs to be fixed ASAP. While he was en-route, I was able to isolate the cause of the leak, turn off the water to the affected line and did not need his services after all.
