I have worked with Scott and his company for almost a year now, first job was January 2025. Since then, his crew has helped resolve issues at both residential and commercial properties I manage. I've been managing properties for over 20 years and Owen Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company I have worked with. The original reason why I reached out to him was because my normal go-to plumber (big company by the way) wasn't getting the job done. As a local resident in Yorba Linda, I gave Owen Plumbing a call and they resolved the issue! Not only that, it's been good ever since (knock on wood) while previously it was a repeat headache. They have come out multiple times for other issues since then, and every time they have been punctual and respectful. Their office staff is also very kind and patient on the phone, email, and in person. Recently my neighbor, an older woman who lives by herself, had her main line back up. She called out a plumbing company she found online and they quoted her THOUSANDS of dollars of work and scared her to near death with all the things "wrong" with her house. She asked me my opinion, and instead got Owen Plumbing out there the next day or so. I don't know the details of the work but boy was she so happy and ecstatic. I've had Owen Plumbing bookmarked for a long time thanks to the high marks given to them by my Yelper pals Chris D. and Les S. Recently, after what turned out to be an incorrect assessment by another plumber (long story), I called Owen Plumbing out to run a camera down our home drainage pipe to check to make certain it wasn't cracked or broken. Luckily it was perfectly fine. I was impressed with their service so made another appointment to have my main water shut off valve (which had frozen up) and pressure regulator replaced. Once again the technician arrived on time (the office even gives a call when they are en route), the work was done quickly and efficiently and at a reasonable fee, and I was a happy customer. It was easy to make appointments and their courtesy calls emphasize their commitment to superior customer service. The plumbers are polite and professional. Scott Owen and team were referred to us by a close family friend as we had what we believed to be one leak, but turned out to be two: a bathtub drain and a pinhole leak. I cannot say enough good things about this team, from the front office to Trace, Kevin, and Cole in the field, to the owner, Scott. Thanks to Chris D. for recommending place. I noticed a large water spot outside my garage few days ago after running my washer. I thought I had an expensive problem at hand because it looked like there was a broken drain line by my washer. Scott (owner) came by to assess the situation, and immediately figured out what the problem was based on the photo and my description. He said it's just condensation from running the dryer and have nothing to do with the drain line. What a relief. I'm glad he was honest, and didn't charge me anything for the service call. I felt bad he had to drive all the way out to my house for nothing,. Just to give this place some business, I scheduled for drain cleaning next week. Contacted Owen's plumbing for a water softener system after reading the reviews here on yelp. Scott was very helpful on making my decision easy. Scheduled the install and they arrived promptly and did a fantastic job adding a water softener and brine tank to my existing water filtration system. If you don't have a water softer. Go get one! What a huge difference. Cleaner dishes, softer clothes, spotless glass in showers to name a few. While here, they serviced my tankless water heaters and installed some faucets. These guys are great!! We needed an emergency plumber. I was changing a leaky shut off valve under the bathroom sink and the pipe was so rusted from having a leak for such a long time the pipe broke. Got ahold of Scott during the weekend and he had two of his guys come over on a Sunday morning and replaced the piping with copper. I can't say enough about these guys. Owen Plumbing is such a breath of fresh air. The receptionist actually answers the phone and is super pleasant. Owen plumbing came today to unplug my slow draining sink. I called in the morning around 8:15 and they said someone would be there between 2 to 4. They called back at 12:15 and said if it was okay the Technician would be there in about 30 minutes. Great I said and he was here within 30 minutes. The Technicians name was Pete and he went right to work. But first he put on some shoe covers which I let him know that was not necessary in my house. Pete was super nice and took extra measures so he wouldn't make a mess. He didn't try to up sale me with some Hydro-Jet cleaner BS or anything else. These guys know what they're doing. 1. They repaired a leaking water pipe that was saturating the soil around my house, causing it to seep into the crawlspace. 2. They re-routed our laundry dryer lint pipe to exit on the outside of the house. (Unbeknownst to me, it was simply being flushed into our crawlspace, which is a huge fire hazard. Scott Owen discovered this during his investigation of the leak problem.) 3. They re-routed our air conditioning condensation to properly and efficiently exit into an existing drainpipe. (It was previously exiting into a bucket with a sump pump, which was a constant source of worry for us.) 4. They installed a new water heater. 5. They replaced broken/loose ABS drainage pipes under our home. Rodney and Angel were very professional and answered all of my questions. All of our plumbing worries have been put to rest. This is a company you must add to your contact list for the day you need a plumber. This is a family owned business that's all about honesty, integrity, and quality work. There's no commission based up selling here. You are charged hourly and for the parts, not by the job. No job is too small or too big for these guys. They'll snake a drain or they'll re-pipe a house. Whenever I call I ask for David who is usually sent with his brother Jorge. In my condo they've replaced valves, faucets, toilets, bathtub spouts, shower valve cartridges, and sink drains. I had to get it ready for a tenant. At my dad's house when I needed to sell it I had the water heater re-strapped. At my new house I had a water line added for my fridge, leaky drain pipes replaced, and an issue with the tub fixed. Prices are not only fair but better than the competition. Read Bob T's story.
