The handle on our bathroom faucet broke and water was spraying everywhere. I shut off the angle stop valves underneath the sink...but noticed there was a leak from the valves. I couldn't twist the knob hard enough to keep the water from dripping. Obviously this needed to be fixed and replaced. Turns out the previous pipe went straight into the wall and there was no way to replace just the end of the spigot (which would have been an easy job that I could do myself). Ricardo added a threaded piece so that I can easily replace just the spigot in the future if it ever gets corroded again. Problem solved.
