Iron Rooster...oh how I love thee. My experience, no matter who the Server might be, no matter who is the Host/Greeter, is always a good experience. As a fan of Breakfast Food, Iron Rooster doesn't disappoint. No matter what my requests are, they accommodate me. It's one of the few places that consistently gets the eggs right! They also accommodate me by adding their Honey Old Bay sauce to my chicken (it was on the menu at one time, is no longer displayed, but still available). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I normally get a seat at the bar at there's always some sport event they're showing, which creates the "I'm at home" vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Although other locations exist, and I'm sure they are just as good, the Hunt Valley location rocks. If you looking for a good Breakfast/Brunch location, try Iron Rooster. Get a reservation on the weekends...it'll make your experience that much better. And if you were wondering, there's PLENTY of parking. #MallyMalApproved

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really good breakfast with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and amazing service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out just right. Definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot.

Food is good. For the most part, dishes have great flavors and plated well. Service is another story. When we walked in, it was not busy. There isn't a lot of attentiveness and apparently communication either. A server took our order and then another showed and seemed bewildered that someone had already taken our order because it was her section. First coffee we got wasn't really more than room temperature, but we let that slide, mainly because it seemed like few servers. Our breakfasts showed hot, but then our server disappeared. We wanted refills and ended up asking the bewildered server to bring us coffee. She disappeared. Original server showed back up with the check and we asked her for coffee. She left the check, said she'd be back and she disappeared. Other girl showed with the pot about 10 minutes later. This is not the first time that we have been here this has happened. Not sure it's a training issue or lack of staff. I'd hate to be here with it busier. It's sad when I want to spend cash to support restaurants and it becomes easier to deal with it on my own.

Celebrating a birthday with Tuesday morning breakfast and cocktails was a great way to start the day. Our server was Kirsten U and she was amazing. Hearing about the birthday she offered a free Berry Rootart which was scrumptious - lots of berries and that familiar Pop-Tart fried dough flavor - yummers! We also got free bacon for being on LocalToast. The birthday cocktail was a Strawberry Mimosa that was delicious. We shared a huge platter of breakfast nachos and even had some leftover to enjoy later. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday at 10 AM, but Kirsten provided exceptional service.

Was seated as soon as I walked in. Friendly waiters. My business partner and I order some shareable and I must say that the fried green tomatoes was delicious.

Iron Rooster has to be by far the best breakfast I have ever had. When I say the food is delicious I mean the food is delish! It was my birthday and my sister surprised me with breakfast and even when the food arrived it was still fresh. The eggs, the waffles I mean everything was just right. You have to try it. See the pictures for yourself.

Quick and friendly service, delicious food!! The roostart flight was adorable and a great way to try the different flavors!

I'm here from a suggestion by a friend. After reading a few Yelp reviews, I cringed. Let's hope this is my best dining experience this trip. :-) The wait is 20-30 minutes for a party of three. The time went fast. I love the spacious entrance and decor. I pray everything else measures up. The was a great first time experience from the greeter, to our server Kirstin, to meeting the Chef Caleb and new Front End Manager Nick. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had looked at the menu in advance to see what I had a taste for. I ordered the Breakfast Combo with bacon, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and 1/2 a waffle. Everything was tasty and the eggs were so fluffy. I peeped on the menu that if you followed them on any social media platform you'd get free bacon. Well!! Kirstin walked me through finding them on instagram. That 4 free strips of bacon completed my meal. The Chef was serving guests their meals and even assisting other servers. We stopped him to express our appreciation of the meal. He was very personable. Kirsten was attentive throughout our dining experience. The restroom was presentable. The orange makes it bright. On the way out I shared with a staff member how pleased I was especially after some of the reviews I had read. It turned out he was the Front End manager. He was moving the entire time making sure everything flowed. He even took our picture when asked by my friend and closed the shade to avoid a glare. That's going the extra step. Based on today's experience, I recommend Iron Rooster Hunt Valley. Yum! This is at the top of my vacation week.

Eh. Food was good to ok, but service, while very friendly, was subpar. Honestly, I think management needs to retrain the staff, as I'd don't feel the servers were intentionally obtuse, I think they just didn't know better? Examples- we were served food with no silverware, waffles with no syrup, bottomless coffee was hard to track down. Took a while for us to even get water. Within 3-4 minutes of being seated, we should've had water on the table. Had a reservation which was honored. Started w/ a brown sugar pop tart which was delicious and probably the meal highlight. I got an eggs Benedict which was good, potatoes were cold. Overall, the food was fine but the staff needs help. As I said, they were friendly but too many mistakes for a well established restaurant.

Have heard great things about this restaurant chain for a while and decided to give them a try while we were in the are to cross off our list. Food was pretty good but service was EXTREMELY lacking. Understanding we were there for Sunday brunch - but it wasn't crazy busy and we barely saw our waitress. We got the free bacon for liking their Facebook page and roost tart was excellent. Restaurant was very clean and seemed very family friendly and not loud or crazy for brunch.

Yummy food, convenient location, and we always have great service when we go! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a larger space so I feel there isn't a huge wait even on their really busy days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of parking available as well!

Then stand back and let him cook... *wink* We got a Texas toast sandwich: garlic compound butter toast, eggs scrambled with mozzarella and provolone, and fried crispy Prosciutto. Then was the pancake quesadilla. It was just a little sweet which was nice with the cheddar cheese and bacon and sausage filling. Last were some tacos: corn tortillas with a ground beef, griddled potatoes, mushrooms, peppers and cheese topped with some gravy. Everyone who loves breakfast needs to get here IMMEDIATELY! We ordered the "do you dare" and received 3 items that were flawless. Perfect flavor profiles, perfect cooks, and we could not come up with one thing a dish needed. We ate the following (newest photos at end) French toast smash burger (no bacon): 15/10 French toast soft interior, crispy out. Smash burgers seasoned well and juicy. Hash brown just right. Nothing needed. Cheesesteak potato pancake tacos: 15/10-steak and potatoes seasoned perfectly. Pancake had crispy edges but still fluffy, sauce added a little kick. Nothing needed. Strawberry Mascarpone wafer French toast: 15/10-The PERFECT "I want something sweet" choice without indulging in cereal or ice cream. The strawberry and light cream were heavenly. French toast had cinnamon, crispy edges and was remarkable. We will be coming monthly to try any new items and concoctions Glen will whip up. A hole in the wall for sure, can not be seen from the street. Limited seating inside and outside. Food was perfect. We ordered the following: Pancake breakfast: 10/10 fluffy, crispy pancakes. Home fries were crisp and seasoned. Perfect for 2 kids to share The Wild West: 10/10 very fresh ingredients, good flavor and portion. Recommend. The Washington Ave: 10/10- I added Feta instead of cheddar and that sent things over. Huge sandwich. Flavor packed. Might want a little more sauce. Cappuccino: 8/10 a little too much milk (hot skim milk) Strawberry mint lemonade: 10/10 I recommend breakfast lovers get here!

When I went today to order my coffee, the gal at the register looked at me like "-_-." I was like "How does this voucher work?" No response. "Should I just order one item or combo?" "Uh...I could do a combo....." She clearly had no idea what I was asking. In the past, whenever I had a voucher, it would state what it was good for. For instance, "Voucher good at buffets at the _____ restaurant or for a beverage and baked good at __________." I ended up getting a Venti Cafe Latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich ($10.45 value). I guess that was okay right? I think of it this way. If this voucher holds no cash value, but I used it to cover breakfast the day before worth $22, I am sure it was no big deal to get a breakfast worth less. There is no specified what I could get with this. She even asked if I wanted to get anything else. Should I assume that if I really wanted to abuse this voucher, I could have ordered like 6 items? I was eager to peruse to see what tasty treat I could grab. Parking was plentiful, but busy. I suggest you go as early as possible to secure a hassle free experience parking and market wise. Upon entering, the convergence of scents hit at once: desserts, bbq, popcorn. I wasn't mad at all. Our first stop was the bbq kiosk where we purchased a rack of ribs and wings. They have a variety of mini markets and food vendors in the building: bbq, seafood, spices, bakery, pickles items, clothing, furniture, butcher, handmade crafts, fresh made pretzels, etc. They also had an area to sit and enjoy your food purchases. We also picked up a half of a coconut cake, a slice of strawberry cheesecake, some apple butter and blackberry jam, and as we exited we got the glazed almonds and cashews. This place seems big, but it is manageable to walk around and check out all of the vendors. Upon tasting, our ribs were good: perfectly seasoned and fresh; the wings were rotisserie roasted and were good as well; the cake was just ok for us fresh with coconut flakes held on by white buttercream; the strawberry cheesecake was just ok; the glazed nuts were good as well. All in all, a nice market to visit for fresh, homemade food and unique crafts/gifts.
