I stopped at another repair shop in the city who told me it would take the whole day to fix and would cost me over $400, and wouldn't be ready until the next day. I called around and everyone gave me the same answer.... until I called Lohmans. They had the part, said they'd get me in and out same-day, and gave me fair price well below the others. I've had experience fixing this part of a car and know how long it takes and how much parts should cost. Lohmans was right in line with market costs. No nickle and diming, just a good quality family owned place. They even gave me a ride to a local restaurant so I didn't have to wait there, and when I returned they had lightly cleaned the outside of my car! Don't be fooled by the shop. It's small and simple but these guys are all about service and good quality work.

The owner/operator, Dana, answered the phone and after I explained what I was looking for, put me on a brief hold while he searched his inventory. He came back a few moments later and told me he had something in stock that would meet my needs. He was also quick to give me a price, including installation, when I asked. He asked me to bring the Jeep in when I had a chance and the call ended quickly and courteously...very no-nonsense. Fast forward a couple of days and I made it in to the shop. I'd driven past it 1000 times and never took notice of the unassuming exterior and front work yard full of vehicles. Upon entering the shop, I could tell that Dana had been at that location for years (turns out decades). When we met and discussed the job, he was equally as no-nonsense in-person while also being equal parts amicable and witty. Fast forward again a couple of hours and the job was completed at the agreed upon price. Needless to say, I'll be returning for more work in the future, happily supporting a locally owned and operated business run by a seasoned tradesman and military veteran to boot. Thanks Dana!

I was told by word of mouth & my in laws that this mechanic shop is honest & has good reputation. Incorrect. Took my car in Friday, was charged $930 for a $80 part (5hr labor for a part that should take at most 2hrs) and drove off with more issues that could've caused my car to catch on fire. Was also told I needed new breaks all around which was also incorrect. Total would've had to spend over $3000. Luckily I took it to another shop in which they confirmed my breaks only needed lubricant & will be getting all else fixed that was messed up at richards. Expenses aren't the issue as clearly taking my car to a mechanic l'm ready to pay to get my car fixed. PLEASE find a genuine and honest mechanic because this is not it. I ordered brakes and shocks from Amazon, and the total job came to a lot less than I would've paid at the chain Brake service on the corner of Lohman and Solano, plus T&T doesn't try to upsell you to more than you need. Octavio was finished in just over an hour and he called me to come pick up my Jeep. Great job, great prices, nice guy to work with. Everyone says they like to "shop local". Give this local guy a chance.

This place came recommended by a co-worker who informed that a local owned it and had just opened it. She told me they only used Castrol oil and did the full service (checks and top offs included) and even vacuumed your car for you. I decided to try them. They were swift, knowledgeable, and thorough. They addressed my concerns. I noticed thar they treated my vehicle with respect and even offered honest opinions about my next maintenance recommendations. They have earned my business for sure!

After breaking ABS sensors in Hubs, instead of drilling broken material out and just replacing sensors they replaced perfectly good hubs with new hubs and sensors. This shows me a lack of knowledge of these workers and perhaps no management training. I am a master auto/diesel mechanic with 60 years experience. Being retired I no longer have tools or means to do this type repair. I would also caution leaving anything of value in your vehicle.
