Our experience with Ironclad was excellent! All the guys that were assigned to our crew were very friendly, polite, CAREFUL, hardworking, paid attention to detail and were very organized. And when I say organized, I mean they had a plan for how they moved every item, how they packed the truck and they strategically brought each box and each piece of furniture to every room and/or area it was assigned to go in. Our move consisted of moving into a brand new home with freshly painted walls and newly installed hardwood floors - and they took all means necessary to lay down the proper floor protection, not scrape any walls and protected our furniture. DO NOT HIRE... We set a date and time, received a confirmation email , set a babysitter and took the day off work. Ironclad did not show , did not call, did not return voicemails. Left us sitting at our storage waiting for our 8 am appt. DO NOT USE these people They finally showed up at 1 pm, to their credit the actual crew were good guys. No attempts by management or any office staff "office is a po box" we're even made to check how things were going and then we were overcharged with a "5% discount " . What a joke. I want to be clear this is not about $ as our movers were tipped very well . It's thee point that moving in to a new home should be exciting and Justin, Raul and Sharon all dropped the ball and ruined that experience. All morning we were given excuses and sent emails saying they contacted us and left messages on the day before when nobody even knew they had "lost their truck til sat morning. We were not even called til 915 am by the owner who stayed they had lost the truck. We were even sent an email in a tone of .....WE TOLD YOU. Wow is all I can say. It's too bad these hardworking movers have to be managed by this company. UPDATE....no contact , follow up or anything. I should have not paid in full but that's not the point. I chose this company based on the reviews they had already received on Yelp! We moved from Temecula to San Diego. We were planning on working with another company based on a realtor recommendation, but after multiple times asking for someone to call us back, we turned to Ironclad. They were able to schedule us on short notice so that was nice! Cody and Dakota were our movers. They were so fast we couldn't believe it! Both were very professional and very nice and earned a hefty tip from us! $100 an hour for the headache and backache to be on someone else was well worth it! It saved us a ton of exhaustion and work! We used a service that shipped our furniture and Ironclad picked up our shipment and delivered/unloaded/and placed all of our furniture. They answered every single phone call I made when coordinating our shipment and delivery and went above and beyond to make our move a pleasant experience. I engaged Ironclad for my long distance move from San Diego to Florida. The experience started out great when Daryl came to my home for the move estimate. He was nice and responsive up until the point I signed the contract. More on that later. One of my requirements in hiring a mover was that I did not want my goods to be shuttled. I wanted them loaded on the same truck that would be delivering. I was assured that this would happen. A few days before my move I was told that a shuttle would be picking up my stuff. I was not happy and eventually spoke with Casey, the owner of Ironclad and he assured me my stuff would be well protected and I would not experience any issues. He even gave me his direct cell phone number. More on that later. When Daryl did the in home estimate, he suggested that I buy mattress bags for my guest bed and pay for boxing of my $3k tempurpedic mattress. That made sense to me so I agreed. I bought mattress bags for the guest bed. On move day, the movers came and did not have the boxing materials for my bed but assured us it would be boxed when they got back to their facility. Fast forward to delivery day and it turns out they never boxed our mattress set but instead put the cheap bags on my expensive bed and left the guest bed exposed. We asked the driver at delivery what happened and he said that's how he received them. Ironclad charged me for boxing and unboxing. My mattresses were also damaged. Remember my concern about the shuttle? Well, it turns out they lost one of my boxes in the transfer. Furthermore, all of my furniture arrived with scratch marks...every single piece. I decided to take Casey up on his offer so I called his cell phone and it's been 5 days and he has not had the professional courtesy to call me back. What a liar. I also tried contacting Daryl and he has not answered me. Seems like he couldn't care less about clients after they sign a contract. Avoid these crooks and liars and look elsewhere for your moving needs. They are not even deserving of the 1 star rating. The only person that has shown any post move concern is Raul. He has been helpful and I am grateful for that. read more

IRONCLAD did a fantastic job moving my household. I am retired military, currently working for the government & have been through a lot of job & personal related moves. That being said, have had more than enough interactions with moving company's & moving crews. IRONCLAD not only provided me with my best move to date, but did it in the most professional, time efficient, gentle way possible. I called on short notice, & despite that, they were flexible & able to provide a crew size of my choice in just 2 days time. They arrived when they said they would, called to confirm & handled themselves with the utmost professionalism! The crew consisted of 2 gentlemen that were kind, courteous, & so gentle with my stuff, you'd think they were moving their own household goods. They had just come from a job prior to mine, & still had the energy for my 6 hour move (2 PODS parked 500ft away from my home, the back & forth can you imagine!) & then were scheduled for yet another move after mine! Jacob and Justin did an outstanding job with our move. They were very careful with our things and they were very helpful and polite. They went the extra mile by going into our attic to unplug a bluray player that was wired behind the wall, and even swept the garage when they were done. I'll start from the beginning. 1. Easy to find, they can make moves all over southern California for you! 2. Call them or email them it does't matter Justin and Steve are some of the most professional individuals you will ever have to deal with. If you ever have a problem just tell them and they will resolve it ASAP. 3. They are very careful and precise with how they move. Its an amazing thing to watch these guys wrap, lift, and fit all in the space that they have. 4. Both times I worked with Justin he was always looking for the most cost efficient way to move my home from point A to point B. whether it was using less boxes to only bring two men out to complete jobs it didn't matter he was right on point looking out for the customer! 5. I have used ironclad for 2 of my moves and will continue to do so in the future. The staff was friendly and took care of my things including wrapping up my new furniture to protect it from scratches. Justin and Steve are puzzle masters when it comes to packing up uhauls. For this current move I still have a few things I am waiting to pack up, but the way the storage unit was packed I have plenty of room to put my extra things. Had a great experience with Ironclad this month! We had a short notice move that needed to be completed and Ironclad was able to oblige us on short notice. I only requested my furniture moved. Vicki in customer service was great and followed up on phone calls promptly. Mike and Jordan were my movers and they were very professional in their manner of work. Our company used Ironclad and they were awesome. I can't say enough good things about them. We called them with a weeks notice to move and they were able to come out the next day to give us a quote. I am very much disappointed in this moving company and will not recommend them to anyone for moving. They managed to break my antique gold frame mirror into pieces including the wooden frame. They do not want to take responsibility for it, even though their own employees are the ones who wrapped it in thick blankets and secured it with tape. Today I hired Ironclad Moving to unload my ABF Freight trailer. It was filled to the brim because we were moving a large house across the country. Anyway, I was assured several times that a 2 man team could unload it in 4-5 hours. Well, they were right! I was very impressed by our moving team and I look forward to hiring them again to empty our 2nd trailer...yep, there is another one... Just a side note, there was scheduling problems that arose due to some miscommunication between the person who booked me and the scheduler. I had read other reviews and knew I needed to possibly be on top of such a glitch. When I called, they were very responsive to my concerns and made quick rectification of the issue. As I mentioned before, I will be calling Ironclad again for the next truck. They are awesome handing my antique heavy furniture and placed every box where I needed them to. Because they worked with me so close, my garage is minimally full and all of the rooms have their proper boxes. I believe this processes of organizing would have been way more difficult if there were more movers and it all might have ended up in the garage. So, 2 people are perfect. Thank you Ironclad Movers for being customer service orientated and fixing what went wrong...I have seen other moving companies say "so, what?" and you did NOT...so thanks and I will see you soon! read more

Name one good thing about moving? It's horrible! We called Ironclad Moving to help us with the hard to move items. They were there on time and ready to go. What was most impressive is how quickly they moved our items! These guys are really great! We would call them again, and recommend them highly. Moving is still horrible, but they make is as good as it can get! One other thing... I called them on a weekend and they answered the phone. I also wanted rather fast service. The guys were on time first of all. They padded the corners of the wall and put down runners on the floor. I even got my whole deposit back from the landlord this time. Having just moved in a little over a year ago I still remember the last company which took over 10 hours to move us and I even helped. We were beat and so was my wallet. This time I used Yelp and Ironclad. Wow they got me moved in half the time and didn't trash my new house. Gave them a good tip afterwords for moving a 2900 sq ft house in record time. Where do I begin? I called Ironclad Moving Systems, got all setup and scheduled, cancelled my U-Haul rental with a sense of relief and then received a phone call 2 hours later advising that they "might need to cancel" but "would let me know." I note that this was on a Thursday and less than 48 hours prior to my move, which was on a Saturday. Forget it---I just called elsewhere (another local company, called EZ Moving) and I am glad I did---the move was completely seamless and everything went accordingly. And you know what, over the next couple days and all the way to present, I still have not received any further communication, such as an "official" cancellation, given that when they had called me, they literally advised that they "MIGHT need to cancel," indicating that the reservation is still on but there is risk that it will not happen. I guess in "Ironclad Moving Systems speak," that means it IS cancelled. I say it again; I am glad I called elsewhere. This company is real nice on the phone initially, but is a real joke to do business with. Contact EZ Moving...they were so awesome! read more

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! I don't EVER write reviews, but I have to spill the truth about this horrible company!!!! Some of my family moved from Murrieta, CA to Texas two months ago. They hired Iron Clad moving company to move all of their furniture across the country to Texas in their company moving van. Iron Clad Company broke NUMEROUS pieces of my family's furniture (all of the glass in their entertainment center was shattered, grandfather clock was broken, TWO rounded antique cabinets had the top wooden pieces snapped off in half, and a huge mirror completely shattered). They also did not put together SEVERAL pieces of furniture that they disassembled and promised to re-assemble upon the delivery of the furniture in Texas. Once everything was delivered and my family saw the condition and state of their destroyed furniture, they immediately called the owner of Iron Clad (owner's name is Casey Taylor). Casey apologized and said that he would personally fly out to Texas and take care of everything. After my family EMAILED, CALLED, and left CASEY soooo many voicemails to follow up, he ignored them completely and did not respond ONCE. He fell off the face of the earth and they have not heard from him once since their initial conversation once the furniture was delivered to Texas. Do NOT trust this company to deliver your furniture in the same condition as when it was picked up. And if something is broken, do not ever expect for the company to take responsibility and make things right and fix your furniture. ALSO - to add another shady thing about this company; upon the first inquiry asking about the cost of shipping from Cali to Texas; the original quote was $7,000. A couple months late, my family called back to confirm and book with Iron Clad; but the owner said that the worker that they had previously been speaking with no longer works there and the price has risen to $10,400. Like...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!, What a rip off! Beware of Casey Taylor! He comes across as very kind and personable, making tons of promises - but if anything goes wrong; you won't hear from him ever again and you will be stuck with broken furniture and the costs of fixing it all yourself. Cy and Angel just left my house. I now have a 12 inch scratch and dent on the front side of my new $3,000 LG refrigerator, 2 gouges on my walls and they tried to take my sliding back door off the tracks to get the refrigerator through and now we can't open the back door. I have never seen such sloppy work in my life. So here it is on Monday and just got off the phone with Steve at Ironclad movers. He is willing to send 2 workers out to my house to load the refrigerator at the $ 80.00 per hour rate but if it takes only 20 minutes to load the refrigerator that is all they will load. All I'm asking for is to get an hour of work that I'm paying for. UPDATE Steve called late in the day on Monday. Said he would send someone out to load refrigerator at no cost, IF I would take down Yelp review beforehand. I said no, public deserves to know caliber of this company's work. Now they won't return my calls so I can file a damages claim! Today they offered me 180.00 on my claim. Spend a little more money and use a company that respects ur property and has some integrity. read more

We used Ironclad when we sold our house. Justin was great with taking our reservation over the phone...even when I had to change the date on him! The crew called to advise us of their ETA the morning of the move, showed up, did a walk thru with my husband and started moving, wrapping furniture and loading the truck. They were polite, nice and got the job done quickly and ahead of schedule compared to what was quoted for the time over the phone. They moved the entire 3 bedroom home from Temecula to a storage unit in San Marcos as we hadn't found our new place yet. On the other end, they arrived at storage and promptly got to work unloading the truck and packing it into the unit. Never once did I feel like I was paying them to stand around a talk or "take a break". Looking forward to having them do our move from storage to our new place as well! read more

Well my move started being referred to Iron Clad Movers by another company. Amanda promised me outstanding service. The day of the moving a four men showed up to pack he trailer from Old Dominion. The head guy, (forgot his name), with dread locks wanted to know how we got his team to show up on that day. I told him I called and told Amanda what day I needed someone and she assigned them to load the trailer. Well they packed the 28 foot trailer in about five hours. It appeared to be fine. Not being a mover I would not know whether it was right or wrong. Looked good. Tipped each guy $50.00 and they closed up the trailer without securing the security wall. So the company picked up the trailer that night and off to Montana. Upon arrival all my wood furniture was damaged. Chairs broken. Nearly new washer and dryer dented and scrapped. Tables dinged , every chair was scratched up. The estimated cost of repair is over $7000.00. I contacted Amanda and she told me that she would forward I on to her bosses. She called me back and said to come up with a price would settle for and they would pay it themselves. I told her $1000.00. She said she would forward it on to her bosses. After no contact I have tried at least 10 times to contact them, by phone and emails. No answer and no response to ANY messages left. Well that was professional and responsive. I do not recommend this company at all. Unless you want damaged furniture and a kiss my butt to your honest attempts to resolve the issue. I contacted the original company and they told me kiss their back side. So my suggestion is BUYER BEWARE!! Just because they have posted a lot of emails on their web site, you have to wonder how many bad ones they have and are not posting? Use a professional mover, pay the money and save he stress. read more

I moved from an apartment in Temecula to a house in Murrieta on June 28, 2013 and picking up everything in my storage unit on the way. I've always had terrible experiences with moving companies with breaking things and taking forever, carelessness, etc, so I was definitely angst about this move. After reading so many positive reviews, I felt comfortable booking with Ironclad, which I'm pretty sure I called them after hours, and they still took the call and scheduled me to move the following week on the day and time that I needed. They quoted me 5.5-6.5 hours depending on if I wanted 2 or 3 guys.. It ended up being the best move that I've ever had, it took 5 hours, and the guys (Cody, Kent & Dakota) did a great job moving me quickly and efficiently, and nothing broke and I had the rest of my day to start unpacking! Ironclad movers unpacked a truck other movers loaded for a cross country move. After my experience with the guys who packed us up, they were a breath of fresh air. They were there when they said they would be there, courteous, careful and organized. They came with a good size crew for our load (4 guys), they protected the carpet and staircase so they did not get dirty and dinged. They put things exactly where I asked them to and made sure that at the end of the move all was where I wanted it to be. They took direction well and never lost patience. They cleaned up after themselves and finished in just a few hours. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them. read more

Was excited about hiring this company to do our move. The reviews were so good. However we were schedule to have movers show up this morning to move locally and no one ever showed up. Sad, I made at least 4 phone calls to see what was going on and no one answered the phone. Finally after calling another company to do our move they called and offered a discount to still the move. I had to say NO as I had already booked a replacement company. If you are going to have a business you really need a PERSON to answer for phone for things just like this. I understand things happen so a phone call would have been appreciated to say we will be there but just had an issue. So sad, they sounded like a great company over the phone. I first used Ironclad Moving Systems March of 2016 to move me from San Diego up to Napa for job relocation. They sent a nice guy named Steven Weber who did a fantastic job of being on time, efficient and great at communicating. He made the move a breeze and nothing was broken but rather all handled with care! He put things where I wanted them and was courteous and respectful. Now, April 2017, I'm relocating back to San Diego and I of course had to call Ironclad since they did such a great job. This time it was the owner himself, Steve who came and personally did my move! He was super efficient as well and punctual with his arrival time. Steve, a really nice and polite man himself, made the move back such an easy thing. All my stuff showed up on time and in the original shape so nothing broken. I CAN'T recommend them enough to use for moving as they make it stress-free and super easy. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars for Ironclad Moving Systems!!! read more
