    SASHIMI PLATTER (12PC)
    Jerome M.

Unique and good spot for sushi! Reserved on a Sunday at 12 through Resy and they were able to accommodate early. Unique place that reminded me of my 7 years in Japan. Remove shoes before entering, sunken dining, and loaner slippers for the bathroom. Food was good, sashimi slices were thick, shrimp and vegetable tempura had a variety of vegetables, crispy rice tuna appetizer was good, and garlic edamame was delicious. Again, good sushi and doesn't break the bank. Highly recommend!!!

I really enjoyed my experience at irori sushi. The staff was friendly from the host/hostess to the service staff. The dining area is pretty cool, you take your shoes off and walk over to your table where you sit on floor cushions with your legs below the table, suprisiy was pretty comfortable. We ordered a rainbow roll, lemon roll and spicy crispy rice. All the rolls were a good portion and were very filling for three people. The rolls were beautifully plated and the various fish in rainbow roll eye brightly colored. I really enjoyed the lemon roll because I love citrus and this roll satisfied my love for lime and lemons. Crispy rice were a little smaller than other spots and although it was good the rolls were my favorite. I will be back.

My new favorite sushi spot in LA!!! This place feels authentic and the food is incredible. There was a bit of wait when we went since I don't think they take reservations but 30 mins on a Friday night isn't bad to me. We got salmon belly sushi, tuna crispy rice, the hot night roll, the benji roll (a special), and the sunshine roll. Everything was amazing, truly haven't had fish this good since we went to Japan last year. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing sushi restaurant . I love the vibe starting with everyone removing their shoes, sitting at a low to the floor table with your legs in a hole under the table. The best part is a huge variety of sushi rolls and nigiri and an amazing special priced lunch menu that goes to 5:00 p.m.! Not to be too picky, but the tempura could have been hotter and a crunchier batter, but the sushi nigiri and everything else is great. By the way while at first it was awkward, sitting low to the floor and being served by giants was fun

This is in a corner of the plaza. You need to take off your shoes and you can sit japanese style or there's a hole to put your feet under for those not used to sitting like that. Food is amazing. I love getting the Japanese uni flown from Japan and the scallops. The build your own meals are great too. There's booster seats for the kids. The only improvement is when my kid tries to say hi to a server named Emily, she ignored her twice at our table. Other than that the other servers were good.

After dining at Nobu earlier this week, I can hands-down say that Irori is definitely better. My go-to sushi spot. It feels like we're dining in Japan, you take off your shoes at the front and sit down in these little cubbies. Our server Minu made the experience memorable, extremely attentive and we ordered almost everything on the menu! These photos are from my most recent visit. However, my favorite rolls: premium rainbow roll, ginza roll, sunshine roll, and the zen roll. If you're wanting to try a bunch, you can try the sushi platter/get premium sashimi. All of the fish here is so fresh, you can tell the difference from the first bite.

Food - Do the Omakase !!! NO REGERTS :D Service was fair, but then again it was really busy on a Saturday night. I had to give a laser beam stare a couple times to get my water refilled. Ambience - yall better be flexible because they have traditional Japanese seating , either sitting criss cross apple sauce on the floor or feeling like you're about to get in a manhole haha. Tbh I was impressed I still had that flexibility!

My girlfriend and I have been on the hunt geo some great sushi in the area and we think we may have found just that! The first thing we noticed was that we were to take our shoes off and sit at our table in a traditional Japanese style (don't worry, for those who can't sit Indian style comfortably there is a void where your feet can rest). This brought back memories of my time living in Japan! We both opted for the omakase and were delighted with the speed and deliciousness of the menu. Service was a bit hit or miss depending on the server/dish but overall we had a great time and enjoyed our food. Would definitely come back

Highly recommend the sushi omakase at Irori. It's a very traditional omakase with sashimi, 9 pieces of nigiri, a hand roll, and other small dishes. The vibes here are cozy and perfect for a slow meal. The restaurant requires you to take your shoes off so you get an authentic experience as you dine. Service was great on a busy Saturday morning. I know I'll be coming back for omakase again :)

food was great and i love the free parking. Lunch had great deal. one weird thing was we had to take off the shoes.I did not know and wore the boots and my friend had to be barefoot, we asked for slippers and they did not have any. i felt weird walking around with barefoot with strangers because it is not sanitary. but other than that it was great

This is a truly exciting and wonderful experience. As soon as you enter you're asked politely to remove your shoes. If you're familiar with Asian and Scandinavian households this is a very common thing it gives the place a feel as if you're a guest in someone's house. You then find yourself in some unique seating arrangements either on a mat or at a sushi bar. The menu is quite large with a lot of options to chose from and I could not resist the lunch specials. I have to say I love Chirashi bowls they give you a nice selection of fish. I was truly amazed by the price point and how good the fish was for what I paid. The fish was fresh and absolutely delicious this is perhaps the best sushi I have had in the west side. They are masters at pickling from the huge pile of ginger to the radish in my Chirashi. This is truly a hidden gem. My grandma complained that my grandpa seemed to always have money for sushi dinners and none to get her nails done. With good sushi like this in the world who can blame him?

Great spot in Marina Del Rey. Sushi is fresh. Love the vibes. Pricey but good quality.

A solid experience at the opulent Irori Sushi, which featured traditional Japanese style dining and seating arrangement on intricate wood flooring. We had the premium sashami dinner with the premium Chirashizushi. Each style was delectable and tasty, although arguable whether Sashami dinner was worth the elevated 90 dollar base price point. Overall, a great experience, although the flavors were a tad overwhelming compared to other high end sushi places.

Great place for lunch and dinner. But the lunch menu during the week is the best for the price.

They don't have a lot of the beginner or over the top type of rolls. Everything is just very straightforward. One of my favorite parts is they have indoor and outdoor seating, but if you choose to sit outdoor, which is what we did, you're able to sit in a covered patio on the second floor and have almost views of the bay, but still really nice views of the area. Service here is very fast and our waiter did not really speak English but was very attentive. It's in a small shopping center so there is a lot of free parking attached, otherwise it will be street parking. For this visit, we just did a mix of nigiri, hand rolls, and cut rolls. I would say some of the highlights were the yellowtail nigiri, the baked crab roll, the salmon roll, and one of my personal favorites: the spider hand roll. They have a revolving menu with some things that stay and other limited run specials so it's the sort of place where you can get something new each visit. I will definitely be back again soon and would recommend.

My friend and I both opted to get the Nozawa set menu, which had a mix of sashimi/nigiri/hand rolls. I don't usually eat hand rolls, but this was a great first time experience. The menu is well crafted and the timing at which the food is brought out to you is also thoughtfully planned. I can't even pick a favorite because everything was delicious. The Nozawa set was also a good amount of food. Ambiance was great, and the bar was a great spot for people watching. There are a lot of small touches which make dining here a great experience, such as how fast your plates are cleared, and how the bathroom even has unscented vs scented hand soap depending on if you're washing your hands before or after your meal. Even though I have dietary restrictions, I'm pretty sure there's going to be something on the menu that I could eat. Now when I got there and I saw the very brief menu, I was stunned and I was like, oh my gosh, I should've looked at the menu before I came here This looks like I'm about to be eating a bunch of raw fish. But to my surprise when I looked closely, I was able to see that there was a whole section of grilled foods and appetizers that I could eat. I ended up ordering: - the miso soup - the edamame - the cucumber salad (for appetizers) - sea bass - oyster mushrooms - shrimp - the ginkgo nuts Every single food item that I ordered was delicious. I was genuinely surprised by how flavorful everything was and I was particularly impressed with the sea bass and oyster mushrooms. These two dishes were phenomenal. I don't know how they made that sea bass so flaky and moist and just melt in your mouth but it was so good. I don't know what sauce they put on top of it but that thing was amazing. The oyster mushrooms were so good that we ordered two more orders of it. For the edamame, the only thing I didn't like was that it was served cold. I don't know if that's like a traditional way of serving it or something but I'm used to having my edamame be served warm or hot so that was unusual for me. The server was amazing, super attentive and very kind. He always made sure we had what we needed and there was even something that was mistakenly served to us but he took it off the bill and allowed my friend to eat it anyway so we were grateful for him. He was also really good at explaining the menu and the dishes that he liked. The vibe in here is social but a little classy. There were these ladies that were sitting to the left of us and one of them just randomly started talking to us and asking us if we were from the neighborhood, which was a little odd because... why are you asking me those questions??? Other than that the vibe was fine and I would definitely come back here again. One thing to note though is that the food is served kind of like tapas style so if you're expecting massive portions and to be stuffed to discomfort, this is not the place where that's going to happen.
