While Eric maybe good at other jobs but did not live up to our expectations for caulking job for our bathrooms and kitchen. He way over charged us for the time he spent doing the job. He missed removing the old caulking and put new caulking right on top of worn out old caulking and tried to justify that this was ok. My expectation were pretty clear at the beginning of the job that I wanted all old caulking removed then a thin bead of new caulking applied. Since he added new caulking on top of old caulking the bead came out very thick, uneven and unsightly. He was rushed, kept taking phone calls and seemed annoyed when asked questions. Erik did some stucco repair and lizard proofing in my home. He did not bring plastic or anything to cover the pavers with. Said that he would just scrub it after. Turns out, he did not bring a brush with him. I had to chase him down with a tumbler and brush to clean the pavers. He did not seem too happy about that. He used duct tape instead of masking tape when covering siding and got stucco over one siding. I pointed it out and he painted it over with paint supplied by me. When he wheeled out his supply dolly out of my front door, he hit three different spots rolling it out rather than picking it up. During the stucco repair, he missed a spot. I pointed it out and he took care of it. The lizard proofing was done in half the porch and he wanted extra money to do the rest. He quoted that in my picture, I only sent the door. The picture showed him the layout of the front porch and clearly mentioned that all the gaps need to be covered lizard proofing in the subtitle. I insisted that he come in person to do the estimate to avoid any issues but he wanted to work from pictures. That is tricky business when you have a language barrier and take on a complex project. Upon a heated argument, he offered to do the extra work to earn the rest of the quote. At this point, I was uncomfortable with having him on my property and paid him for the rest of the work. If you are willing to give him a hanging job as he has titled his business, you might be okay since this is a simple task. Anything requiring effort and forethought means babysitting, untidy messes and collateral damages. Ask yourself how much stress you are willing to take while being asked to pay premium prices. read more
