Prices so high they really should be embarrassed! Huge apples, no flavor. Few morning shoppers, with seemingly good reason.

For the sides we got cornbread, river street corn elote, asparagus, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and truffle parm fries. I highly recommend the truffle parm fries, super rich and crispy! For a group of 6, the elote portion was more for 2-3 people to share. I also did 6 fresh kumamoto oysters, which were very good as always expected of the kumamoto. They came with 2 different mignonettes and a cocktail sauce. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for oysters! For our main entrees, we opted for the Wagyu Classic Board and got to try 3 different chef's choice cuts of steak. Which came with picanha, ribeye, and I think filet. Picanha was a huge hit of course. We also got the Prime Tomahawk Steak which was good too, but the picanha and ribeye had my attention. At the end, Ramon overheard that it was mine and a buddy's birthday so he surprised us with the best hot and fresh Apple Cobbler I've ever had in my life. It came with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and be hooked us up with a cup of gelato with a candle to sing HBD too! If you're looking to spend a little, come get the picanha and some oysters.. have yourself a great dining experience here with Ramon!

Super flavorful. Incredibly tender. Perfectly cooked. Great crust. Rendered fat. Awesome all the way around. We ate at the bar and service was perfect even though it can get super busy. Hats off to the bartenders who were attentive even though there were a ton of people around. I've been disappointed by a couple newer steakhouses in San Clemente and San Juan but The Market By The Meat Cellar renewed my faith. Thank you!

First time checking out the new place. They moved next to…read moretheir former place of business in the smaller side of the building. They still have the same vibe and the same menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They did raise the prices but still a really good value regardless. Formerly a sit-down restaurant, this is now set-up as a take-out, with few tables outside near the entrance. It is also a small market as well, with a meat counter. We walked in at around 5:00pm on a Wednesday and ordered their BBQ Beef Rib dinner and a slice of pistachio cheesecake. The employees there were really friendly and nice. We didn't get her name at the register but on our receipt it said Gabby was our server and she was sweet. We had a question regarding ordering meat for an upcoming event and Max at the meat counter was very helpful. When we got home, the meal was delicious! The meat on the ribs was juicy and tender, the baked potato was hot! It stayed warm longer than most potatoes we've had and it was good. The mixed veggies were a bit softer than I expected but was fine. It was a good meal. We went back to order 8 BBQ beef rib dinners 3 days later on Saturday, 4th of July. We called in our order 30 minutes before pick up and when we arrived, we waited a few more minutes for our order to be done. The ribs weren't consistently good. Some were good but some were tough and chewy. But the sides of coleslaw & mashed potatoes were really good. Rolls were already cold at pick-up. Overall, it's still a good place and glad they're back.

Even on a weekday, we waited about 30 minutes, which wasn't too bad. This time, I ordered the brisket bánh mì, the pulled pork sandwich, and the mac and cheese. Every time I visit, I like to try something different, and everything I've had has been absolutely delicious. The portions are generous and very filling. In my opinion, this is the best BBQ in Orange County. The wait is definitely worth it. The employees are always friendly and welcoming, and the meat is incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. If you're a BBQ fan, this place is a must-try!

I ordered online and did a "curbside" pickup option where I still had to go park and go pick up the food. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered pulled pork/ribs, potato salad and beans. Most everything else was already sold out online. The pulled pork was gross. It was dry and salty. Anybody can make food tasty by adding tons of salt. The trick is to make the bbq flavorful with adding spices and sauce and not so much salt. The ribs were dry..... Do these people not use sauce or sth? The potato salad was good but different. The beans was the worst part of the whole meal. It didn't even have BBQ sauce in it! I am sorry but it didn't even look appetiting! It looked gross. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars review is because I didn't have to wait 3 hours. If I had waited for 3 hours and got this quality of food, I would have been so upset!!!!

I went with…read moremy dad tonight and we shared chicken tacos, a steak quesadilla, and an order of the taquitos....they were all incredible (the steak quesadilla was my personal favorite, however). The chicken tacos were VERY big, I came hungry and I have a large appetite to say the least and one of those tacos itself was pretty filling. Both salsas on it were delicious (they offer a red and green one)! I also threw on a little bit on onion, cilantro and rice and it was even better. Easily the best taco I have ever had. The quesadilla had the best chew on it that is hard to describe in words.....it was slightly crispy on the outside yet a little soft and the flavor on the cheese that was so perfect. The cheese even had that melted and chewy feel to it that just makes your head want to explode because it can't comprehend how something could be so good. The taquitos were so nice and crispy and had such a pleasant blend of all the flavors it packs in its shell, you really get all of them in each bite. They are so generous with their portions in it and fill up the tray all the way to the top. This place is a gift, run here don't walk.

The store is split between savory and sweet. I ordered a few tacos (carnitas, cabeza, and lengua). The full size tacos are quite large and filling. I have to remember to order the street taco version. The flavor is good and with the salsa it hits the spot. I also ordered the menudo to dip my tacos in. Paired the food with some horchata and agua fresca. The service can be a bit slow, maybe because it is usually busy. One thing to note is that you will need to order the drink with your savory order but pick up is on the other side with the sweets.

Bad to the Bone BBQ is actually Great to the Bone!!…read more Came here on 4th of July for one of their holiday feasts. It was a huge box filled with delicious bbq for the whole family! It came with 2lbs of brisket, 2 racks of ribs, 1lb of sausage, 24 pieces of bbq chicken, coleslaw, cornbread, mac n cheese, homemade potato chips, a peach cobbler, and a gallon of lemonade! The brisket was perfectly cooked with a nice smokey flavor and quite juicy. The house sausage was great, I could eat it every day. The chicken was so good with just a bit of char for that nice grilled taste. The ribs were amazing! They fell off the bone and had a perfect bite to them. Their bbq sauce is really good too, not too sweet yet smokey. Coleslaw was good and fresh. The mac n cheese was gooey and so cheesy. The chips were actually really nice, crispy, and salty. The cornbread was delicious especially with their whipped honey butter on top. For dessert I couldn't ask for a better bite than from the peach cobbler with their homemade whipped cream on top. The staff were all so nice when I went to pick up my order. Even though they were swamped for the holiday they were calm and did everything with a smile. There were 2 dining rooms that I saw so it looks like a ton of space. There's also a whole display where you can grab some bbq sauce or hot sauce to buy. Thanks Bad to the Bone for making our America 250 Independence Day so special!

While shopping a female worker with pink glasses quite literally stared and followed us, in a really unsubtle way, the entire time. SO much so that my mom eventually asked if she needed something! Mind you, this store is SMALL. At one point my sister and I were standing over by the seafood discussing what we should get. She left the register and came and stood right in front of us a few feet away. While my sister was making her selection I just stood there and made direct eye contact with her to make her just as uncomfortable as she was making me. She eventually turned and walked away. Honestly it was WEIRD. So weird a part of me wanted to leave without my food because why would I buy things from a place where the staff is making me feel like I shouldn't be there or I'm a threat ? Mind you I'm carrying a tiny Coach purse, like did she think I was gonna try to shove the $200 + worth of food we purchased in there?! ‍ I've never shopped here and been creeped out by staff. We paid for our things and left. The encounter Left a really bad taste in my mouth but the steak was absolutely phenomenal.
