Their buffalo chicken pie is the best we've had anywhere - be sure to specify that you want the Ranch dressing on the pie. Likewise, their Popeye spinach/white pizza is delicious, as is their mushroom pie. They also do garlic knots right - with olive oil and lots of garlic! Came here after a haircut as I knew I didn't have much to eat at home for lunch. Stereotypical pizzeria with formica tables inside. Decent amount of people eating/waiting for food based on the small size of the place. Staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Fairly limited selection of ready made slices, but hey again, size. Got a regular slice and it was perfectly a-okay. It was cheese forward as the sauce was a bit muted. Undercarriage was nice and crisp although the crust was a bit bland. Overall it was did the trick just fine. Really nice that they give you a garlic knot for free too; not sure if this is just a lunch thing. Would definitely come again post haircut. Wow. I have never encountered the kind of attitude and customer service at a place of business. I live in Irvington and have been to this place in person a few times. It's fine. I ordered some pizza for my son's birthday party for 5PM. At 5:15, I called to inquire where my pizza was, and they told me they had written it down for 5:30 PM and apologized for the mistake. Once 5:30 rolled around, the pizza got delayed and finally arrived at my home at 5:45 PM. My son's party was almost over, and guests had already begun to leave. Kind of ruined my son's party, but it wasn't the delivery guy's fault, so I paid for my pizza and figured I would call the manager later to see if we could reach a resolution. That didn't happen. When I called today, the manager was incredibly rude and didn't even let me finish telling him my issue. He told me that I had incorrectly changed the time after speaking with him (which I hadn't done) and that it was impossible for him to have made a pizza change "on the spot". When I told him that isn't what happened, and that perhaps he was confusing this order for a different one because even his own employee had admitted that she wrote the time down wrong, he refused to believe me and told me to go take my business somewhere else. My favorite part was that he claimed he went "above and beyond" for his customers, all despite not having any interest in hearing what his customers had to say. It was really pretty shocking. It's a local pizza place geared for kids and people who don't have time to find somewhere else. But still, I left my phone call shocked and quite upset over $30 worth of 2 kids' pizzas. Their pizza is so gooooood!!!!!! Probably one of best pizza I have had. We stopped here for quick lunch before we go to visit couple historical houses on Hudson and didn't even look up but felt like pizza and we saw this place and I am glad we came here. We had slices of margarita type of pizza and with meat and they were so good, very crispy crust, fresh toppings and nice tomato sauce. The lasagna balls may kill me, but at least I'll have died doing what I love: eating the lasagna balls. Irvington Pizza Company comes from omnipotent pizza-god Bruno DiFabio, apparently nicknamed "Lord of the Pies", who is more of an idea than a man. Personally, I've yet to see his physical form at IPC, but his presence still drifts in the pepperoni-soaked air. This village is a rotating door of pizzerias. They seem to come and go like my night terrors, so it's nice for a seasoned professional to step into this hallowed building (once occupied by Irvington Pizzeria, a long-lost legend). The previous occupant, Slice, only lasted little over a year, so I hope DiFabio really puts a stake in this place. The environment borrows much from Slice, who had it entirely renovated to no longer look like your grandmother's closet. It's clean, modern, and has enough seating for the typical pizza rush hours (which is every hour in my opinion). Enough about pizza mythology and table settings, though, let's talk about what really matters here. The pizza is great, probably among the best Irvington has had in the last 20 years. Their specialty slices range daily with core favorites, including a colossal stuffed-beast with several meats on the outside, inside, and with garlic knots as the crust. That put me out of commission REAL quick. What really has me spreading the news about IPC, though, is the lasagna balls. I have shouted this gospel from several local hill tops and have customers barging through the doors to claim their taste. They've yet to give me a t-shirt in exchange for this evangelism, but I know I'll get one eventually. My first bite was the equivalent of exiting the cave from Plato's allegory and finally seeing the light of day (and reality) for the first time. The crisped outside and succulent inside swirling in a heavenly sauce is true innovation the likes of which I haven't tasted in my quarter-century on this planet. You are wasting precious time reading this review; do yourself a mighty solid and go there immediately to try it. So, will a restaurant run by a supernatural 6-time World Pizza Champion (a real thing) succeed in this burgeoning food hub? I hope so, because if it goes away and takes the lasagna balls with it, I may just have to slowly walk into the Hudson River without so much as a snorkel to save me. I've seen the light, and there's no going back now. read more

Unfortunately new owners recently took over and made the common mistake of switching to cheap ingredients to save themselves money. It shows, their pizza is now awful. Was 5 stars and now is 1 star. Tried this place for the first time yesterday thanks to a LoHud IG post. The photo made me crave a slice so I immediately headed over to take a look from Dobbs Ferry. The newly renovated interior is so refreshing, a true sign that the owners really care about the customer's experience. The pizza is also very appealing to the eye! I grabbed a buffalo chicken and chicken parm slice to go and was please that the value for money is spot on. Each slice was $4.25 but each slice was crammed with toppings and flavor. We also wanted a spinach roll but they didn't have any made so they were very accommodating in offering to make us one but we didn't have 15 minutes. Very nice lady greeted us and made us feel welcome. The decor is semi upscale but the floors could use more upkeep. They offer a very good plain slice and buffalo chicken slice. Also on the menu is an excellent ground beef calzone. The beef is very flavorful. If you hate tangy stuff then skip the dipping sauce. I can see parking being an issue in this small town. However at 3:30pm on a Friday there were a lot of street spots. I'd like to try different slices, their calamari, and some different calzones next time. So to give you a background we have ordered from here many times in the past and had a pleasant experience all around...until now. ***This review is not on food but on customer service*** It started when we placed a order online via THEIR website. We used the coupon for 2 free toppings on a lg pizza (grilled chix,bacon,penne 1/2 carm onions) and a side salad with Ceaser (an order which I have placed in the past).I am aware that only 2 topping are free. Shortly after I ordered we got a call from a employee with a bad connection. He had the call back which is no biggie. He asked us what our order was and we explained it. He began to get angry and fairly nasty on the phone. First he attempted to talk me out of the salad stating it was to small and not even for one person "I dont think you want that", I explained to him I do want that and was met with continued attempts to bargain me out of making me a side salad. After fierce negotiation we moved on to the pizza which was apparently the real reason for invoking his wrath. Apparently they wont put penne on pizza...he stated first they dont have it and then moved on (still with the verbal wrath of Poseidon) to well we dont do that you have to order the penne vodka pizza" I dont know why you ordered that" . He was confused and angry I ordered penne on my pizza as advertised on THEIR website... This exchange was odd and warranted me to put him on speaker phone for my GF and 2 friends to hear . We where all left confused as to what brought on the visceral rage from this guy so we canceled the order and got Chinese . Either way not only have they lost mine and my GF'S business but also the 2 guests I had over. If you change your menu policy please fix it on your media sites and for the love of pepperoni dont take it out on the customers. Also dont try to dissuade your customers from their orders, its never a good business practice to try and convince people not to buy things from you... read more

Unfortunately, this is a mixed review ... the grandma's pie is our favorite so we keep going back BUT more than once they have "forgot" to put our phoned-in order in. Tonight was another example: told it would be 15 minutes for pick up so off we went only to get there and be told another 20 minutes and the kid "was very sorry." Sorry??? How about not charing full price or offering a soda while we wait ...... trying to support local business during this pandemic but I am done giving them my business. I called to complain and was told a "manager" would call me back, an hour later I called again and was told "sorry we are busy" . . . they are not the only game in town and the one up the street seems to be more customer friendly.
