After a routine service visit to my vinyl pool, the pool began losing water rapidly and dropped to less than halfway full within days. A Vinyl Pool Repair company later identified a large puncture in the liner and advised the damage appeared consistent with blunt force. It is in the very bottom corner of the pool on the 8ft side, somewhere a 5 year old child couldn't reach. I checked camera footage to see their technician using his tool in an up and down motion as if he's spearfishing in my pool. Days later - the water dropped less than halfway. Other red flags - they removed my existing vacuum and replaced with a different one without my knowledge or permission. This specific vacuum was not recommended for vinyl from the vinyl EXPERTS that I consulted with. Furthermore, they also charged me on a random day for some type of "annual fee" without disclosing that upfront. Lastly, the last service visit we had (on a rainy day - no clue why the guy still showed up), the employee went behind the camera area and stood under my sundeck on his phone. Is that what you're getting paid for? Service visits under 10 minutes while you stand around. There were multiple red flags I ignored and excused but the damage to the pool was the last straw. Despite the timing of the incident, the severity of the water loss, camera footage, and the findings from ABCO, Golden State declined to take responsibility for the damage or assist with replacement costs. As expected: they responded to dodge accountability by saying the vinyl was in brittle condition - this still doesn't change the fact that you punctured my pool. See you in court.

The pool pump stopped priming and our pool was quickly becoming a POND! We had sought out about 5 different companies to help us find and solve the issue. We were able to get a visual image of the issue by using a leak detection company, but they weren't able to assist with the solution of getting the blockage out. Black Mountain Plumbing recommended Payan Pool Service to help us get the blockage cleared. I am EVER SO GRATEFUL for Valerie was a true lifeline and an absolute God Send! She was so kind and helpful and was able to move mountains to help us with our dire situation...as the pond was getting very green and twitching critters. Mark, with 20+ years of experience, was able to clear the blockage by using pressure from both the actuator side and then the skimmer side and eventually wiggled the spring and plastic cone free! I have also included screenshots from the interaction beforehand where I asked him about the chlorine level and was attacked, followed home, and threatened outside my residence. I filed a restraining order and dropped it shortly after I was told that he was banned from the property. Payan Pool Service sent him to service the pools there yesterday despite the property manager allegedly banning them. Payan Pool Service confirmed that they will change service technicians in the next few weeks which lacks urgency, is dangerous, and irresponsible. Shane Trujillo left the lid off of the pool filter while he vacuumed and a senior citizen fell while playing with their younger relative yesterday as well. He was not apologetic and smiled at me as he left after threatening me previously. I want people to be aware that Payan Pool Service is sending people like this to residences and businesses where people might be letting their guard down and not expecting interactions like this. Update: The response I received was that they will change service technicians in the next few weeks. I am glad that the owner is aware of this employees behavior going forward if they decide to send them to clean more pools. Shane Trujillo has short hair now, however still has a beard and sometimes wears a hat or sunglasses. When showing another person at the pool the video of him assaulting me, they mentioned that "he must have had his teeth fixed" as well. I will update this if the owner reaches out to offer to look into problem as they have my email from contacting Amanda Charles from their Accounting Department as well as the video of me being assaulted.
