My husband, our two kids, and I had dinner here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We started with a side of Brussels sprouts, and they were absolutely phenomenal. They came topped with Parmesan crisps and were sautéed in a light, flavorful oil that was so delicious we couldn't stop eating them. I ordered the apple risotto, which was outstanding. It was creamy, perfectly cooked, and beautifully balanced by the tartness of the apples. The apples were cooked just enough to complement the richness of the risotto without overpowering it. My son ordered the clams and couldn't stop talking about how wonderful they were. My husband had the Friday prime rib special, and it was cooked perfectly. The sides were excellent, especially the asparagus. He also ordered the house salad with the house dressing--an herb-infused oil and vinegar dressing that was absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the five-layer chocolate cake. It was everything a great chocolate cake should be: moist, light, and rich without being overly sweet. It wasn't the kind of dessert that leaves you reaching for a glass of water after every bite just perfectly balanced and incredibly enjoyable. Excellent high end meals with unique, passionate and impressive service and quality. Worth a visit if you're in the area looking for a top meal. Don't think of this as a golf club restaurant but more of a top choice for a nice dinner or nice meal in the area. My wife, mother and I were staying at the resort next door to the golf course and decided to give Isadore's with no prior research. Being from Seattle, the menu and approach from Isadore's and their effort to be a high end restaurant serving unique high quality cuisine was terrifying. In Seattle, a restaurant with this type of approach is going to be awful, pretentious, tiny portions and expensive. Isadore's was the direct opposite with stunningly unique food, excellent service and a very warm inviting vibe. We enjoyed Isadore's so much that not only did we eat dinner here but we returned to enjoy their lunch menu the next day. The people working at Isadore's were truly a cut above as everyone we met from the host, to our waitresses, to the other service people, to the Head Chef, to the owner were already incredibly friendly and extremely passionate about Isadore's and taking care of their customers. The host was a very young lady who could not have had a better attitude and who was so friendly to us. I was also highly impressed with how hard she was working always cleaning or doing something while not attending to her hosting duties. Our two waitresses were spectacular with good humor and great effort taking care of us. The real reason I am writing this review is the steak I had here was one of the best I've had in recent memory. An incredibly unique blue cheese crust with Portobello mushrooms on top of a flavorful perfectly cooked NY Steak. I've have never had a blue cheese crust on a steak before and it absolutely rocked my socks! My wife ordered the same thing and she has been known to hurt people and start fires when her steak isn't cooked correctly. Both of our steaks were nailed with complete perfections at two different temperatures. Exceptional! We tried lots of different things here. My wife loved the clams she got. The different types of bread were all awesome! My mother was raving about this place during the entire trip. Out of everything we had here across Dinner and then lunch the next day, everything was great to exceptional. Really had no expectations walking in but walking out was completely blown away. Isadore's hit it out of the park in virtually way. My mother was even raving about how fancy she thought the bathrooms were. Last week I would have rated this restaurant 4 stars. It has good seating and beautiful views. The menu is very limited but still a little something for everyone. We have eaten there before, post Spa. Yesterday, after our visit to the spa, we came here for lunch. The service was awful, just awful. Our server acted like they were annoyed by our presence. We were only one of two tables. We both ordered sandwiches, the club sandwich and the croissant sandwich. We also ordered a side of fries. The server failed to tell use our meals already came with fries, so that was $14 wasted. After delivering our super fry heavy meals to the table, they never came back to check on us...except to ask us to pay before we were done eating, so that they could close their drawer out for the day. But my mom and myself have been servers in the past. We tend to give grace to whoever serves us and we tip heavy. My mom said "Maybe her dog died today or something." But when the next shifts staff came in, our serve had no problem laughing and acting like their day was just fine. Her ill treatment of us, felt somehow personal. Can't explain why, we didn't do anything to deserve it. Our meal was $53 total before the tip. We decided to tip only 15% and based on the price our meal should have been, minus the excessive $14 order of fries. It was the lowest percentage of tip I can remember giving in the last 2 decades. Not sure why she didn't like us, but in the end, the feeling became mutual. We will return to the resort spa once to twice a year, but we will never eat here again. read more

Service was excellent both mornings we came for breakfast. The restaurant was very clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed our experience. We tried the eggs Benedict, loaded hash browns, and French toast, and everything was well prepared. It's definitely worth stopping if you're in the area. My only minor criticism is that the food is a bit on the pricey side, though not unreasonably so given the quality and experience. read more

The food was great! Service was fine other than being overcharged for our happy hour beers and not adjusted from the check. The main issue is the atmosphere. When we go out to spend $100 plus for dinner we would like to enjoy our dinner without having to listen to the obnoxious golfers at the bar. We said no she took are order and that was it 30 minutes goes bye we get are food from a totally different person then the previous 2 mind you both are drinks we empty never once did we get a refill not even on water also all re drinks had 6 pieces of ice in them nothing like warm bloody Mary. Back to the food. One server went by I asked for salt and pepper cause its not on the table she looked at me like I just ruined her day finally after 5 minutes she gave me salt and pepper. So my food was chicken fried steak hashbrowns a 2 eggs over easy my two eggs were bigger then my little pile of hasbrowns for 22 bucks you would think the hashbrowns would be bigger anyway my chicken fried steak tasted like frozen food just out of the freezer straight into fryer not good at all I have had better food at sharis thats sad for the 22 bucks here's a idea hand bread and make it dont name the restaurant some fancy name to serve sharis quality food as far as my wife's food she will post her own review so we eat some of the food to give it a chance but stopped fairly early. The server never came back the whole time no refills too ask how the food is nothing we were done for 10 minutes and I set a timer for ten more minutes and told my wife if Noone comes Iwe will just go to try to pay at the clubhouse. Finely she came to pay never asked if we wanted togo boxes nothing. For the fist time eating out I gave no tip I strongly advise you guys to get different staff also advice the people reading this too stay away read more

This restaurant is part of the Elk Ridge golf course club house. It is set with the course and the views are green and enjoyable. I ordered the Challah bread French toast. It was nicely presented with a drizzle of blackberry coulis. There was supposed to be toasted walnuts, but I didn't see any. It looked better than it tasted. I thought it was kind of dry, although a good dose of maple syrup helped. I also had hash browns, they tasted good but had a bit too much oil left on them. The plate was all oily when I was done. My wife got the oatmeal. It was good with the cranberries and brown sugar. The service was good, but I forgot to present a coupon that we had received from the Carson Hot Springs Hotel until she had started to ring it up and it was too late. She only suggested that I come back again to use it later. My fault for not showing it earlier, but I also felt a little disappointed. There was also an employee talking to another employee during the whole first part of our breakfast in a loud voice. It was a bit more than I wanted to hear. Maybe those conversations should take place in a more private area. I gave it 4 stars because the food was presented well, and I only had the dryness of the french toast to complain about. I might go back to try the lunch or dinner, but I'd probably skip breakfast. read more

Even though there was construction going on, the ambience was extremely pretty and nice and we were almost the only ones there. They served us breakfast, which was delicious and the view was also amazing. they went out of their way to service breakfast even though it wasn't morning anymore and the server was extremely welcoming and nice. We stopped here on our way back from Leavenworth for a late lunch. It was fabulous, the truffle fries were delicious and satisfying, the cauliflower was awesome, burger perfect with the homemade bun, great salad with fresh made dressing. Everything was phenomenal, we will make it a point to stop here on our travels out this way. To top it off the service was wonderful, the waitress and the chef! It was the new cook's first day and there were a few mishaps involving wrong ingredients. The waitress (I wish I'd caught her name!) We were staying at a nearby hot spring cabin and decided to try this restaurant based on scoping out the area on Yelp. We were not disappointed- server was pleasant even though we stopped in during a busy time and she was handling the room on her own. I tried the homemade corned beef & hash that came with homemade hollandaise and two poached eggs. It was served piping hot and tasted great. My wife had a Denver omelette that had plenty of smoked ham. The restaurant overlooks the golf course which appears to be a nicely maintained course - maybe someday! read more
