Clam chowder was excellent. Shrimp basket was ok frozen breaded shrimp meh, was ok for frozen shrimp. Inside was very interesting decor was about Indian tribes picture artifacts. I belive the Indian tribe owns establishment. Service was basic order at front register and have a seat and a number. They bring your food to you. Best part was the Yakima tribe selling smoked fresh salmon and whole fresh salmon on ice in parking lot. Bought some smoked salmon was very very good . We bought from 2 young Indian girls . Me being mescalero Apache support local tribes. Will go back when in area.

The view is really what makes this place worth a stop! Food is quick and good, you order at the counter and they bring it to the table. We got there at 8:30 am on a Friday and it was almost empty, with quick service! We had their breakfast sandwiches which were simple but very yummy and well priced.

Stopped in for lunch and had a solid meal with a great view. Food: Reuben and Fries (4/5): Large portions and very filling. The sandwich was flavorful, though just a tiny bit heavy on the sauce for my taste. The fries were good and complemented the sandwich well. Service: Friendly and efficient once lunch service started. Ambiance: Excellent view of the Bridge of the Gods and the Columbia River. Casual and comfortable setting that makes it a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. Note: Lunch service starts at exactly 11:00 AM, not a minute earlier. Plan accordingly if you arrive early. Overall, a good lunch spot with generous portions, solid food, and a beautiful view.

Thanks to the Best Western Plus Columbia River Inn, my son and I enjoyed our complimentary breakfast here. You order at the cafeteria-style counter, get a number, and sit. When your breakfast is complete, it is cooked to order and brought to you. It has a rustic atmosphere, ample open seating with tables and booths, and incredible views of the River and the Bridge of the Gods. Friendly service and competitive pricing are also provided. A gift and coffee shop is attached. I would recommend it for breakfast.

Great food and easy ordering! Food came out fast, hot and delicious. Beautiful views with booths and tables available. Such a fun spot to stop when checking out the bridge of gods.

I had been recommended to eat here specifically because of the bridge view. The view was indeed beautiful. That was the main attractant for many I believe. I was not really impressed by the restaurant itself. You order at a counter, grab a number and seat yourself. It was extremely packed so you have to kind of hustle to claim an open spot. Drinks are self serve and the OJ tasted similar to sunny D. Staff were flat and seemed impatient at times- particularly the busser. The food was not bad, but not amazing either. I paid $21 for pancakes with bacon, orange juice, and an extra side of bacon. Tip was not expected but there was a jar on the counter.

We walked in and there was a pretty good menu and they still served us even we were there 20 mins before closing. I got some food and it was pretty solid, nice and filling the person who was serving us gave us a free cup of sauce when requested. There is a great view of the columbia river and The gods bridge. So overall it went pretty well. Would come again!! Ps: My dad got a ruben and hes very happy about it.

    no ranch

Came from the booneville dam right before this. me and my family were extremely hungry and expecting a good lunch. We walked in to a massive line, even though it's 130. what really took me off the edge was the prices though. We were looking at the menu, and the prices are ABSOLOUTLY outrageous. I know inflation is a thing. but $9 for 2 chicken tenders is CRAZY. INSANE. one of my family members then wanted a little bit of extra ranch because they gave us a small cup. I walk up to the counter, and ask for a cup of ranch, and they say " 50 cents please". 50 cents for some extra ranch!!?? This ruined my day. the only slightly good thing was the view. as you can see from other reviews, this place is not good. STAY AWAY. The bathrooms were ok, but aren't anymore... sorry guys

We attended a meeting at nearby Slamania Lodge and took the toll bridge across the river to try out Bridgeside for a nice diner breakfast. Hot generous portions hit the spot with spacious window booths and views of the Columbia River. Nice selection of pie slices and strong coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My son and I stopped here on our way to go fishing. Food was good but nothing more than that. The service was just ok but the view is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend Bridgeside Yelpers.

Beautiful view / good basic choices for a quick breakfast. Pretty sure the bacon was microwaved which I don't care for . But the yogurt and granola with honey was tasty.

Can I sit outside with my dog?

    Probably, after all is Oregon

Do you have outdoor dining available?

We have seasonal, outdoor seating which is also weather-dependent. Guests order at the counter and then can find their seating location.

Do the hamburgers have a charburger flavor?

Thanks for the question: Our burgers are cooked on a grill, but we can assure you that the burgers are outstanding in flavor and preparation. There is no open flame, so no char. We hope to see you soon!

It's the perfect spot to enjoy the weather and grab a bite after a hike. The menu is mostly burgers with some salads and rice bowls. My daughter and I split a salad and the Deluxe Burger. The burger was good, pretty solid, nothing special to note. The fries were really good and it seems like their sweet potato waffle fries are really popular, we saw them on almost every table. The Caesar was a very large portion, but a little too heavily dressed. It was also not a super flavorful dressing. Overall, this is a solid option if you are in town!

Like, I jumped in the shower, and it arrived before I was finished! How's that for service?! The dishes arrived hot and fresh, packaged in to-go containers, as is the norm these days, but that did not detract from the experience. The Breakfast Tacos were incredible, perhaps the best I've had, thanks to an awesome salsa topping, a dash of lime juice, and delicious roasted potatoes. I would have trouble ordering anything else for breakfast here, on future visits. My wife's Steelhead Omelet, filled with delicious smoked salmon, cream cheese, and assorted veggies, was also wonderful (I had a few more bites than I probably should have), and more fantastic roasted potatoes on the side. It doesn't look all that fancy, but it's like a Christmas present: who cares about the packaging, when the stuff inside is what counts?! Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the things that we ordered, considering the size of each entree. I've had far worse meals, for far more money, so we were very content with every aspect of our order, and without any added overhead for the "convenience" of having it brought to our room. When it comes to "room service", this is the kind of service you want, every time. Very recommended.

Eastwind Drive-In sits right on Wa Na Pa Street, red and white building, that iconic soft serve and hamburger sign swinging out front like it's been doing this since before any of us were born. And it has. The line was out the door and down the sidewalk by 3pm, easy thirty minute wait, and nobody seemed to mind. That tells you something before you even taste the food. We ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint. Real griddled beef, two patties, melted cheddar doing exactly what melted cheddar should do, crisp lettuce, all of it stacked on a sesame bun that held together through the whole ordeal, which matters more than people think when you're eating standing up in a parking lot with a dog giving you the full guilt trip. Speaking of: we took our food down to the park by the lake, picnic tables under the trees, and Willow, our English lab, decided that burger was the single most important object in the entire state of Oregon. Nose right up against it, patient as a saint, working every angle. She didn't get any. She deserved some. That's the tension of loving a good dog and a good burger at the same time. Prices are fair for what you get, hamburger starts under seven dollars, the shakes and soft serve looked like the real draw for half the line, and the menu board out front covers everything from tater tots to Italian cream soda, which is a detail I did not expect and now can't stop thinking about. If you're passing through Cascade Locks, Eastwind Drive-In is worth the wait. Bring cash patience, bring an appetite, and if you bring a dog, be ready to share eye contact you won't win.
