I came here to see one of the best bands in the PNW play, and that was absolutely the best part of the visit. Clark and Lewie's is a surprisingly great place to see a show, so long as the weather cooperates. The bands play outdoors against a stunningly scenic backdrop. There are also several chairs and places to sit. Immediately across the street is a large parking lot, which is extremely appreciated. Staff is very helpful, enthusiastic, and friendly. The food is just passable. Nothing is notably good, but nothing was heinously bad. I'd not recommend this as a dining destination, but if you want to enjoy a beverage or two by a scenic river, Clark and Lewie's fits the bill.

Clark & Lewies hosted our Wedding on July 17, 2025. Samantha, Andrea and the Staff all were amazing! Samantha's husband trimmed a tree branch allowing us to have an amazing view of the Columbia River! Andrea and her kitchen staff prepared the most amazing Elk & Bison Meatloaf, Salmon, Garlic Mashed Potatoes! The Staff were amazing, attentive and helped to facilitate our magical day! We definitely recommend this restaurant, the staff and location for your special event.

We went in the other night for dinner. We ended up having a rather large crowd, yet our server handled it in stride. She was great. She took multiple orders for multiple tables with no problems. The kitchen also did a good job they cranked out food super quick and the food was good and hot. I know as far as our table they prepared everything perfectly and quickly. We had the Wild smoked salmon chowder. I know as far lot of people expect a chowder to be super thick, I enjoyed this version. It did need a touch of salt and pepper but once that was added the flavors really came thru. We also split a house salad and we added Wild smoked salmon to it and had the raspberry vinaigrette. The one negative is they give a small cup of dressing and it needed more. We also had a Reuben with fries. The fries were cooked perfectly and the sandwich was prepared well. Another person in our party ordered the fish and chips and she really enjoyed that, the last order was the chicken strip and fries and those were prepared perfectly and the portions were very generous. The view is beautiful, then when the paddle boat pulls up you get another nice shot. The design of this place is really nice and well thought out it blends perfectly with the town and the whole area. It's a nice ending to the day and the service was great. So if you are nearby definitely give them a try.

The Wife happened across this place with the Tax Deduction on a Gorge Road Trip. It took a few months to get back out to Stevenson, which is far too long because it is a cool town. This riverfront pub/restaurant is off the highway, but it is worth searching out. I am not a drinker, but the Wife says that the beers are legit. The menu is diverse, but I saw what I wanted right away, the fish & chips. Little places like this sometimes have the best fish & chips. The Wife had the Salmon Wrap. The inside space is on the small side, but if the weather cooperates there is a vast deck space to sit and enjoy the rare sunny days. One thing we liked was that dogs are welcome. Service was good, the bathrooms were clean, parking was plentiful, and the atmosphere was a cool vibe. The fish & chips were very good. Best ever? Probably not, but when I do return, I will order them again. The Salmon Wrap was very good, very fresh and bright. This is a restaurant worth your time and money.

Yea, it looks like an unassuming shack down by some railroad tracks, but then you step out onto the back patio and are hit with that awesome view of the Columbia River Gorge. Sure you could eat inside in the narrow dining area but that would be missing the point. Nothing fancy here - the patio is covered with canvas, with giant windows overlooking the River, and the solid menu consists mostly of burgers sandwiches salads and some seafood dishes. I ordered the salmon slider from the starter section; it came as a nice thick piece of fish wedged into a brioche bun, cooked to have a little char... really delish. Should've ordered two. Tap list has a nice selection of local brews, and there's usually a signature cocktail or two. I've found the service can be uneven, but they always make it right, and they'll always make you smile. Lovely down to earth folks here. Occasionally a crazy long freight train will thunder by right out front, which only adds to the charm of the place. Pro tip; if you wanna walk off that elk burger and IPA, there's a sweet little path just below the restaurant, on the river side.

Clark and Lewie's is a gem! It was a cold rainy day outside and Clark and Lewie's was warm and inviting. The service was awesome. We got seated fast. The heaters were on out on the patio so you could be comfortable inside or out! The food came out fast. I had the fish and chips. The batter was dark, but it was cooked beautifully. The flavor was fantastic. The fries and slaw were great too. I would happily eat here again! Great food, great service, great view of the river!

    Best Spanish coffee in town!

Saturdays around 6:30pm on the covered patio there is live music! On Fridays at 5:30pm they play queen of hearts giving people who play a chance to win $250+ Clark and Lewie's has the best view of the river while out on a date.

Love this great place. Food is amazing! Servers are on their toes and aim to please. We enjoy mid Morning breakfast/lunch. You won't be disappointed!o

You won't find a better view in this town than this establishment's back porch!

Gorgeous views, quick waiters & a cute play on Lewis and Clark. The view gets four stars. It's a small typical bar menu. Two stars if you actually come here just for the food. We had the chili and something that was like a French dip? We didn't finish either. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting there with a glass of wine and continued to be wowed by the Columbia Gorge!

First of all, the drive into the town was gorgeous and scenic. What a restaurant with a view! Easy parking and plenty of seating on the inside. Second, the staff were incredible. From the moment we walked in, the young lady taking our order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our questions as non-locals. Another co-worker was helpful in helping us to get seated and bringing out food/drinks. Wonderful service, thank you! Third, the food was AMAZING! Everything we ate was fresh, hearty, and so flavorful. We shared a cup of clam chowder and it was so creamy and delicious. My husband got the fish and chips with the Cajun seasoning and it was so scrumptious! And very filling! I got the smoked salmon po'boy and it was so decadent. I loved every bite and walked away stuffed! And, on top of it all, prices were so reasonable for such fresh fish and ingredients! If we are ever in the area again, we are going to be sure to stop by Brigham Fish Market. It is worth every minute of the drive, every dollar, and every bite! Thanks for an amazing lunch!

This is their more upscale dining option there (elevated menu & on the pricey side), as they have a more casual lounge dining room on-site as well. This dining room is beautifully decorated, but it's your typical nice hotel style dining room that's large with high-ceilings, so it doesn't have an intimate or romantic feel. Not a problem, just mentioning it in case that's the vibe you wanted. The staff were friendly & helpful. Our food was delicious at the start when it was still hot/warm: the Hubs had their Lamb Ragu, and I had the Halibut. Portions were exactly enough for you to eat it all and feel just satisfied, but not stuffed, without any leftovers. I was hoping portions would be a little bit more, based on the price, but given the high cost of groceries these days, I understand. What wasn't so great? In a word: cold. Their dinner service starts at 5p and we arrived a few minutes after that time, so we were part of their first diners of the evening on a Saturday night. We ordered their small loaf of warm sourdough bread & butter to have with our meal. The bread was lukewarm, but the butter, which had been previously whipped & piped into a little ramekin ahead of time, was cold & hard, as it must have just came out of the fridge. The plates our entrees were served on were also cold, so halfway through our meals our food was completely cold. Even though their dinner service starts at 5p, I'm sure there's kitchen staff in there ahead of time that should get some of those little ramekins of butter out of the fridge ahead of time (or at least put under the warming lamp for a little bit before serving), and put some serving plates under the heat lamp or in a warming drawer. Perhaps they normally do this and on our night there someone forgot. Either way, it out a cold damper on what we hoped would be nice dinner out.

We intentionally did not intervene immediately, as we are working on teaching her to communicate without reinforcing whining. During that short time, multiple guests began making comments toward us, including telling us to "do something" and calling us "the worst parents." The situation escalated when one woman followed us as we were leaving, recording us and yelling in our faces. What's most concerning is that the restaurant did not intervene in any meaningful way. Instead of addressing the guests who were harassing us, we were asked if we wanted to move tables. Our server was kind and tried to help, but the lack of management response in a situation that clearly crossed into harassment was unacceptable. I left feeling shaken and unsafe. I would not recommend this restaurant for families.
