Cute place to hang out and have a matcha drink. The staff is very friendly and helpful. So many options to chooses from!

Tried the salted toffee matcha latte along with the chicken karaage and truffle tots. Everything tasted great, definitely on point flavor-wise. The food and drinks are a little on the pricey side, but the quality was there. I'll need to try more of their matcha variations next time though.. the salted toffee matcha latte was good, but a little more mellow than I expected and I was hoping for more of that strong matcha punch. Cool spot to hang out too, just be ready because parking can get pretty packed depending on the time of day.

Towards the end of the plaza with Saizon, plenty of party, just busier on the weekends. Love the drink quality, just $$$ af ($8-9 per drink). Loved the heavy hand of cinnamon in the matcha horchata, and you can choose between their umami matcha or their lighter one. And my fiance liked the mango stick rice milk tea although on the sweeter side

Cafe's spacious but it could use some more seats. The worker was really nice and explained the drinks well. I got the banana matcha with oat milk and it was delicious! I loved the banana pudding on top. The matcha was decent - it would've been perfect if it had more umami flavor since the banana pudding's sweet. If you like or are in the mood for a sweeter matcha, this is the perfect place.

First time here & was so excited to try it. Customer service was fantastic & the drinks were even better. I'm picky when it comes to matcha so I was happy to find a good spot. Will definitely be back!

I was craving matcha and saw a lot of people posting this place on ig . They are located in the same plaza as saizon. The interior of this cafe is so so cute and aesthetic . It's perfect for social media . They mainly focus on matcha but also have other drinks as well . I got the banana matcha to try . It could have had a little more matcha flavor but the banana flavor was delish . Service was really friendly and I'll definitely be back to try more drinks.

The atmosphere is very chill and has modern, trendy vibes. The staff at the register were very nice and made helpful suggestions on matcha types to try based on our tastes. The service was very quick! I ordered their Lychee Blossom, which so refreshing and the perfect treat for a hot day! Drip Tea Cafe truly did not disappoint! :)

This is a cute little spot! Inside looks very boujee. Service here is good, the times I've been here, the workers are very kind and helpful. I've only had the matchas from here and overall they're pretty solid. Pretty pricy, $9 for matcha. Presentation of drinks if cute! Strawberry matcha: 8.5/10 - a good balance between the 2 flavors, I like that the strawberry doesn't overpower the matcha! Banana oat matcha: 7/10 - Matcha flavor is good and the banana flavor is present, but it tasted very artificial to me.

Really good! I've had two good experiences with the banana matcha. So yummy. Expensive but compared to other places in town you really get your moneys worth. I ordered pick up today and when I walked in, it wasn't just sitting on the counter. I was a few minutes late for pick up so they actually put it in the fridge so it wouldn't be sitting out, which I feel like is really the extra mile that I appreciate. It also smells really clean in there and they do a good job at upkeep the whole café. I can see why it's very popular. Perfect sweet treat.

Nice new matcha spot at The Row! I've come in twice so far to try their matcha, and both times the staff were super kind and helpful with recommendations. Do I think it's the best matcha I've ever had? Not quite -- but it's definitely one of the better options in Fresno. Cozy vibe, solid drinks, and great service. Worth checking out if you're a matcha fan.

High Mountain Oolong & Matcha Lattee
    Brian N.

I tried the matcha latte and the high mountain oolong. They were okay, nothing really stood out. The matcha latte didn't have enough matcha flavor; all I could taste was milk. As for the high mountain oolong, it didn't have that strong, nutty oolong taste I was expecting. I'd describe it more like a subtle green tea or something close to osmanthus tea. Overall, the staff was nice, and I really loved the design of the place.

Love their unique sign outside which was easy to find their store. Walking in was nice, love their AC for Fresno's summer air and their music they play. Not too oversaturated music, just calming peaceful music if you're in your peaceful era like myself. I was greeted by a nice worker who was very patient and taught me a little bit about their menu and what's popular. Then, you can sit and relax in the open area. They also have a tv that you can see your order in status. I ordered the matcha-misu, it had the perfect hint of matcha sweetness with tiramisu topping. I love the twist the gave the name as well, it's easy to remember for next time! + nice fancy coasters!

    Hojicha latte
    Eric F.

Wow. Ok. First time trying this place. I got the Hojicha latte today, and it truly blew me away. I don't frequent boba places because I usually there is no tea taste... just a creamy sugar bomb with chewy balls. But I happened to be stuck in this part of town. Anyways. This drink was truly delicious. A complex earthiness with hints of chocolate and toasted barley. It's much darker than the hojicha that I usually steep at home, and sure takes the way it looks. Anyways. Give it a try and see if you like it too. Oh yeah, service was cheery and very helpful. And love the ambiance for hanging out

It has got to the point of us waiting for the next month's flavors. This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

So I looked for a local dessert place (by picture from other Yelpers) and I was in the mood for ice cream or fro-yo. I didn't realize that this place is very similar to the Somi Somi franchise; but still gave it a shot. Inside is very small and plain = NO SITTING so it is literally take-out. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.

Amongst all the cream puffs, my favorites were the honey butter with vanilla filling, the green tea with green tea filling, and the apricot custard cheesebake. The other flavors were okay, they just didn't stand out to me as much and the shells were soft, which I know is probably how Beard Papa's is supposed to make them but I personally would've liked just a little crisp on the outside and maybe a little more buttery flavor but thats just me tho. The fillings weren't too sweet, which I like but I think they could've used just a tiny bit more sweetness because they were kinda borderline bland. As for pricing, I know doordash marks everything up, so I'm not judging them based on the prices I paid through doordash. Looking at Beard Papa's regular prices on yelp, I still think they're a little higher than what I would've expected for cream puffs, but not by a lot or anything. Overall though, I thought they were pretty good, and I'd probably go back, just probably not for every craving.

I decided to try two flavors since I was only passing through and couldn't easily come back to try it again. I got two of their monthly flavors, the sweet corn and the treasure chest. The sweet corn lacked flavor, you can only get a hint of it. There were a few corn pieces mixed in, but they were few and far between, plus they didn't have a strong corn flavor either. I loved the concept but execution was disappointing. The treasure chest was very good, though I personally wished there was a more even ratio of brown butter cookie to brownie. I can't recall if I even got any brownie pieces. Flavor was excellent otherwise. The other complaint that I have is that the scoop is small. As you can see from my photo, my two scoops looked like 1 scoop. Not worth the price. I know competitors like Han**ls, where I'm a regular at, have given bigger scoops. All in all, still a great quality ice cream.
