Honestly I don't get all the great reviews - we came here for brunch and none of us were terribly impressed. Cute ambience, and interesting selection of baked goods and menu items. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. They missed an item we ordered, and what did come was very meh. The egg skillet thing was very insubstantial for the price. 2 little eggs topped with a bunch of very salty cream sauce with a slice of toasted sourdough. The crowaffle was mid and the lattes we ordered were not great. Not much flavor, just super sweet. Also $1.50 add on for oat milk is pretty ridiculous. You want great flavorful coffee, go to Chez Maryse. My daughter got the chia seed pudding and lavender latte which she said was gross and gave her stomach problems afterwards. She had come here before bc everyone she knew seems to love this place- BUT she thought it wasn't that great but ended up receiving a bunch of gift cards to use. This place is a good size inside. Plenty of seating to hang out and relax or do work. On my last visit the air was out. It was really hot inside and it made it very uncomfortable to relax and have a drink. So we opted to get our drinks to go. The workers were kind. The guy helping suggested the Spanish latte to my hubby. So hubby got that and I got a seasonal drink. Both drinks were delicious and made perfectly. My only issue was how long it took to make the drinks. We waited 15-20 minutes for 2 drinks. Which is a long time especially since they didn't have a lot of customers when we ordered. read more

Conveniently located near Tesla Superchargers! I stopped in to grab a coffee while I charged. I got an iced honey cinnamon latte with oat milk. The coffee was pretty milky (oat milk) and I would've loved a stronger coffee flavor. The latte was tasty though! I am back giving Collect Coffee Bar another chance and I figured out what was lacking from my previous experiences! I was ordering the wrong drink for my liking. This is a really cute coffee shop close to the Fresno State campus located in the Campus Pointe plaza. There's loads of parking and they have pastries if you're in the mood for that. Otherwise, there is plenty of other food places to eat in the plaza. I came here around 8:30am on a Sunday morning and got a macadamia latte with oat milk and my bf got a cold brew. My latte was perfectly sweetened and creamy. The service was friendly, fast, and the coffee was delicious. I have only been to Collect a handful of times, and honestly, I had to warm up to it. I went over 4-5 years ago when matcha wasn't popular, and they had a nitro matcha that I ended up trying. It was decent--at that time. I've went a few more times and gotten things like chai, brewed tea, and pastries. All of them were decent to me but nothing extraordinary. I think their location and the vibe of their shop (clean and open) was a good appeal point for them though. I often went to work. However, I recently went back and had their matcha again with cold foam, and they've definitely leveled up. They are also very supportive of the Fresno State students, which I appreciate as an alumni myself. Overall, the staff is nice, the space is bright and open, and the drinks are great. read more

I would definitely say that the London fog is on the weaker side and you might know like it if you enjoy a good strong earl grey. They asked if I wanted it warmed, and when I received it, it was cold in the middle. When I told them the pastry was cold in the middle, they microwaved it, and turn the pastry into a chewy soggy mess. Definitely not ideal. Later, I ordered a bagel sandwich and was absolutely impressed by the flavors. I would definitely advise that if you go here, get one of the prepared foods, and avoid the croissants altogether. I've been going to Collect for years, but this is probably only my third time visiting since they've changed ownership. The shop itself feels so open and welcoming, with high ceilings and plenty of seating. The booths & bar window seating have outlets, and the place offers free WiFi, making it the perfect place for getting work done. I felt that the booths were much comfier to sit in than the regular chairs on the other sides of the booth. Their iced cardamom vanilla latte ended up costing $6 for 16 oz, which is pretty comparable to most coffee joints in the area. I felt that it had a bit too much milk for my liking. With every sip, I would feel the grains of the cardamom, which was not my favorite sensation. However, the cardamom vanilla flavor made it worth it. read more

I was here to support the Student For Palestine group. I have been meaning to try this coffee bar for a while and have only heard good things about it. I didn't realized how big this coffee bar is. There are plenty of seating inside. They have seasonal drinks offered and I was interested in trying the Pumpkin Latte which I really like. It has a nice amount of cinnamon in it and level of sweetness was perfect. I got the 16 oz for $5.50. I also was really excited to try the knafeh which is a traditional Arabic dessert made pastry, cheese, and sweet syrup. I pretty much gobbled that up. It was crispy, flakey, and even had a little cheese pull because it was warm when I got it. I have never had anything like it before. It is sweet and savory. It did take a little long for it to come out- 15 mins. I recommend those who haven't had it try it, it's unique and delicious. Very student friendly, with plenty of indoor seatings. There were students resting during breaks and doing school work when I was there. It was quite lively around 11am. Super nice baristas when you walk in! I came by to study. Got an iced tea lemonade and it was good, but totally not worth $4! I sat along the seats on the right side... the seats were SO far from the tables and the tables are bolted in at the bottom so I couldn't move them. The two outlets by my table were super loose so it was difficult to charge my laptop. Once I finally got the plug to stay in, I realized that neither of them worked. I went to sit on the blue couch in the back area until my laptop died, and it was nice to see that they either replaced the blue couch or repaired it. First time here and tried the Latte with the cardamom vanilla. It was not good at all. I feel like they over it did it on the cardamom and the whole entire drink felt like it was bad science experiment. I also ordered the Latte with toasted marshmallows flavoring.
