I absolutely love Chantilly Tea Room! I've been 3 or 4 times and every time I go, I love it even more. They have friendly staff, adorable decor and delicious teas and finger foods. Every table is set with tea cups with matching saucers, little silverware and everything you need for an afternoon tea. I always opt for the Chantilly Tea package, it's a great value for what you're getting, the chicken salad croissants and scones with butter and jam are my favorites, but honestly, everything is delicious. They have special events with different themed teas, so there's something for everyone. Whether it's a nice tea with some girlfriends or a mommy and me date, Chantilly is the perfect spot. read more

Elegant. Refined. Exquisite. My friend discovered this place and made the reservations. We went on the Fourth of July weekend for a tea luncheon. We picked the chantilly tea. First off, when we entered, it was like entering a hidden hideaway. Even though you're in a strip mall, once you enter the tea shop, everything else fades away and it's if you've entered into the Ritz Carlton or some other elegant refined place and you've whisked away to a place of luxury, serenity and silent beauty or a bit of sanctuary and tasty relaxation. The tea house is beautifully decorated with all kinds of tea accoutrements. Teapots, cups, Victorian type decor, lace, soft pastel colors. There is lovely, soft music playing in the background. The tables are situated far enough apart, the people cannot overhear what you're saying. It was lovely and elegant. The chantilly tea came with a number of items. Each of us got to order our own pot of tea. I ordered the English tea and it was the best tea I have ever tasted. The brand is Harrogate. We had scones with lemon curd and strawberry jam and of course Devonshire cream. Delightful. We had the tea sandwiches. There was a cucumber sandwich and chicken salad, a little sandwich on a mini croissant all very delectable. Everything was prepared with precision and was delightful. There was a little mini quiche as well with spinach in it and cheese I believe. All of the items were served on a three tiered tray. On the very top level, where the desserts with cookies and tiny petite for pastries. It was just exquisite. Service was excellent, attentive and not intrusive. It was so sweet. At the time we had our luncheon this tea shop had only been open for three months. I hope many more people discover this exquisite tea shop because it's truly a gem and there is nothing like it for at least 50 miles. Do come here you won't be disappointed. Also, if you don't care for regular black tea, there were many other teas available. There was English breakfast as I mentioned, but also Earl Gray, several herbal teas and also some fruit flavored tea as well. I attended a Bridgerton themed party celebration and my first impression was that it was very cute! The tea room was very well decorated and had many areas for photos opportunities with friends. The service was great. Tea was great. Tea snacks were basic but good. Kids were also given their own choices of drinks instead of tea and tea snacks. Given that it was a tea room it was probably meant to be on the more quieter side but would had enjoyed the music a little higher since it was a birthday celebration. Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Made a reservation and gave our lunch order in advance. There's a nice selection of teas and they come out in your own individual tea pot. The four of us ordered a Tea for Two, Cream Tea, and Chantilly Tea. The food came out on a tiered tray. The sandwiches were tasty and the scones were light and good. The desserts were nice. The service, ambience, and food made for a quiet, memorable experience with friends. We ordered Tea for Two, which they adapted and allowed Tea for for Three. Quiet music and a serene mood were evident the moment we stepped inside. The tea varieties allow for all palates. I chose an Earl Grey but needed to go decaffeinated. The mild tea flavor with a whiff of a vanilla would complement the scones to be served. Those scones did not disappoint! While a bit different than scones I remember front England, they had the same hardy but not heavy texture. They were delicious without clotted cream and jam. I added the cream.and jam to another and found it to be absolutely delicious. By delicious I mean there was a subtle light creamiest and sweetness that didn't overpower the scones. Bias alert.bcs scones have always been my favorite element in any meal, I would have given a positive review here for scones and tea alone. We ordered cucumber and cream cheese along with chicken salad tea sandwiches. I enjoyed my cream cheese cucumber sandwich . It had the delicate ratio between the two ingredients just right. My friends seemed to enjoy the chicken salad sandwiches, too. Finally there were little desserts. I had a gingerbread delight. Not too sweet and not too "gingerbready". We chose the Paris tea and enjoyed cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, scones, and delicious little deserts. The ambience is wonderful with quaint decor that was very nice and not overdone. Tables are spaced comfortably apart from each other which provides privacy for conversation. We had a birthday party for out 12 year old granddaughter at Chantilly Tearoom. This restaurant is somewhat of a hidden gem and we are so delighted that we have it in our community. The food was so delicious and perfect. The tea selection is actually quite large! I had the Earl Grey, it's my favorite, and it was so good. Perfectly steeped. The lady who served us was so polite, prompt and nice. She took a picture of us per our request, which we were so thankful for! I've had afternoon or high-tea before at the Elderberry House in Oakhurst, and I'll tell you right now this was such a better experience all around. And it was considerably cheaper! We paid I think $34 each plus tip. The other place was almost $300 for two people which is RIDICULOUS in itself, but the service, food and tea selection they provided did not warrant it. So if you're looking for a great afternoon tea place, please try this place. You won't regret it! read more

This place is super cute. My girlfriends and I tried this place about a month or two ago, but I never wrote my review. This could absolutely be a 5 star place, but the attentiveness of the service was lacking for the price. The tea and food that this place served was really good. But there was 5 grown women in my group that all attended. I understand food is expensive, but if we are going pay over $150+ dollars for high tea, one should expect adequate serving amounts and service. They gave us around 6-8 scones, but then they gave us 3 serving trays with a tablespoon of lemon curd and sweet, whipped butter. All of trays spreads were gone in seconds. The server didn't come by again or ask us if we needed anything more until... we were done. They were in the back the entire time so it's not like we could even wave them down.
