Hot damn, this place is love their homemade banchan side veggies on their unagi don. You can tell real love was put into the food. Best food truck in this section of the truck cluster. Everything was delicious!

This new food truck in one of the pods near Costco (591 Haleakala Hwy) offers a fresh and delicious take on bao, boba and milk teas, fruit drinks, and tempting treats like cookies and crème brûlée. You can customize your tea drink by choosing from several fruits, as well as type of milk (oat or macadamia nut; all their drinks are non-dairy) and boba/no boba. Special bao and crème brûlée variations are also featured. I had the miso honey eggplant bao, special pork belly bao, special Vietnamese coffee crème brûlée, and Thai tea with mac nut milk no boba. Everything was perfectly seasoned and prepared, with beautiful presentation, and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back. Open Thursday-Monday 11A-8P Closed Tuesday and Wednesday

Anything with pineapple in Hawaii catches my eye so of course I had to get the pineapple palmer which is a mix of pineapple juice and black tea. I for some reason didn't realize that it came with jelly on the bottom. Aside from the sweetness of the pineapple, it wasn't too sweet so the rainbow jelly helped sweeten the tea more. I loved that it actually tasted like pineapple and the jelly gave it a nice crunchy texture.

Presentation is beautiful. Staff is welcoming & friendly. The food taste just as good as it looks. Highly recommend, their ube thai tea boba is sooo ono.. & their special limited desserts. My favorites are the duck confit bao bun & the waffle stick (okonomiyaki) their flavors are so complex & unique.

Maui lacks good bao buns. Luckily this food truck opened up in response to this crisis. I will be going back to try more buns but as a snack I got the duck confit and Ube Thai tea boba. This is an absolute must! The flavors pair so well! To make it better they are dairy free, so your milk options are macadamia nut or oat. I got macnut and the drink disappeared in seconds. If you're like me and like boba but hate when the drink is loaded with it, then their milk tea is the one for you. It had the perfect amount of boba. The bun came with a side of Dikon, which i put into my bun to devour. The duck flavor were very settle may I add the presentation is so cute.

This place is the bomb! They're located in Kahului, Maui across Costco by Mo'ono, Thai Mee Up, and former Kalei's Food Truck. A family-owned business, their flavors are authentic and delightful. My favorite is the coconut shrimp bao bun (Bite). Pair that with the strawberry lychee coconut drink with lychee popping boba (Sip) and you've got the perfect combo. I would check out their desserts too -- I got the vanilla bean creme brûlée (Indulge) and it did not disappoint! Service was also great! When I tell them to make me their best item, they're always so good! Ambiance is cute - I like their clean and simple look. Happy tummy = happy customer They deserve more than 5 stars!

I'm in love with their food. The presentation and the flavor is on point. You will not be disappointed... I was introduced to this fine place by my husband , Chef Hugo Santos who keeps saying that this is his favorite place in the island to eat !!

We love this new addition to the food trucks across from Costco gas. Yummy bao buns. So far I have had the duck confit, the eel, eggplant....all delicious....and the are beautifully presented. You can tell the owners take pride in their creations. Prices between $5 - $10, depending on the ingredients- they are packed full! The owner makes homemade desserts. And they have creative fruit drinks. Definitely add this one to your food truck list.

Location: 5/5 Quality of service: 4.5/5 Products offered: 5/5 Prices: 4/5 Flavors: 5/5 Portions: 3/5 Would I come again? Yes, because of the flavors but a hard decision because of the price. Other: They are conveniently located in the food truck lot across from the Costco gas station. It's a newer truck that opened less than a month ago. A pretty great concept for Maui; it reminds me of a few food trucks during food-truck socials in San Francisco. The waffle stick was definitely on the top of my list of their offerings; it's super delicious, a more uncomplicated twist on the Japanese pancake okonomiyaki. The traditional okonomiyaki flavors are definitely present. The only downfall is its size; I wish it were bigger because I was able to finish it in only a very few bites. I want to commend them on their packaging for it, though; I like how it is not wrapped in foil. **they updated their container to a box with a banana leaf. Now on to their bao buns; they definitely hit the nail on the head with the flavors. Not too keen on the price of one though. I would pay $6 for one, but definitely, $7-8 per piece is really steep. On my first visit there o tried both the unagi and duck, which tasted amazing. I did go back on two different occasions and tried out their eggplant and shrimp and wasn't disappointed in their flavors as well. All in all definitely a delicious spot; I do, however, wish the price was revisited because if were to I order four unagi, it would be over $30, and I still would be hungry. Not bang for your buck, but I can proudly say for the flavors, it's worth it. Overall, I enjoyed this place and hope it's here to stay.

The food was phenomenal! We tried the coconut shrimp bao, miso honey eggplant bao, and confit duck bao, as well as a strawberry boba milk tea with macadamia milk. Would absolutely eat here again.

This food truck has amazing food! I got the pork belly buns and the coconut shrimp bun! Both were the most delicious versions I've had of these elsewhere! The presentation was perfect and they served a yummy side of seaweed salad. Try this spot!

New food truck by Costco. Finally, boba and bao buns. It's my 1st visiting this area, thanks you to the front lady for explaining the menu. Customer service with a good attitude is a plus. Bao buns was really yummy just maybe a spicy sauce on the side. Though prices might be too high for 1 piece only; how about 2 pieces bao buns for $8. Drinks were not too bad; boba was really soft. Thank you, I'll definitely want to come back and try more.

    Mango Cheesecake

I heard great things about this food truck from trusted friends and they were right! Beautifully plated, full of flavor and absolutely delicious Can't wait to try more items! Had the waffle stick, so yum! Crispy chicken bao, matcha Boba, miso chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter black lava sea salt cookie and mango cheesecake! All of it was worthy of 5 stars! I don't even like boba, it's usually too sweet for me but theirs was perfectly satisfying. And mango cheesecake, wow!

On this trip we had the Lunch Special which was the Waygu loco moco that came with white rice and Mac salad and two eggs over easy. The Wagyu burgers were perfect not over seasoned and the eggs were perfectly cooked. Still runny on the inside. I had the mis fish which was an ahi today. I liked the fact that the Miso was not overwhelming they got them mix perfect and the broccoli was perfectly cooked and it came with a scoop of white rice. Everything was perfectly done and just the right amount of food. The price is still reasonable for the quality of the food you are getting and the service was great even though there was only one waitress and she was doing double duty as hostess. She was very pleasant and the service is some of the best I have had on Maui. I like how the new place has a nice local feel while having that new but welcoming aura. I will definitely be going back because I like to support local and these guys are making some great food for reasonable prices. I definitely recommend these guys and I will definitely be going back. So much more menu items to try.

I took the advice of Maui's CM Maria and made sure I visit this November trip. I asked the hubby to take me, although he said it was a little farther out since we had a few more stops to go before we leave my favorite island, but he happily took me here. Patsy's started from out as a food truck, now to cute little shop. I met and spoke to Marisa, she is super friendly and got to learn more about Patsy's Food. The cute photo is Grandma Patsy's her food, sauces legacy ,continues on here at Patsy's Food. The menu is very simple, ( about 5-6 items) & the special of the day. This way the cook which is Marisa's husband can focus on those dishes! I wanted to know what's popular and Marisa mentioned in this order: chicken tempura, chicken katsu & the donburi. I'm sure all of them are all popular! Since I already have some other foods that I picked up along the way and wanted to try the signature chicken tempura bites, I got a plate of that with all rice, no sides and got a bottle of the spicy sauce. I can't wait to use that! We ate the food at the airport and I loved it, the tempura batter is so soft, not as crispy since we didn't eat it right away and taste so unique. I never had tempura with chicken, ever. I loved dipping the chicken tempura in that sauce, so yummy! ( dip, eat with rice, repeat. repeat..) I can't wait to go back for more next visit and I need to try the donburi and rest of the menu items . Did you know you can get an entire bucket of tempura chicken, $40.?! They checked in frequently, and the food was pretty prompt. Food - The ahi tartare had some chips in between the ahi, and the whole thing was plated on some oil + wasabi sauce. I thought the sauce was complimentary to the ahi, and was not overwhelmingly strong. The tortellini was my favorite - the prosciutto add on (+$4) is a must! It was the most flavorful part of the dish. The tortellini sit on some pesto sauce, but I think the dish would've been a bit bland without the pop of saltiness from the prosciutto. The tiramisu had a pretty strong coffee flavor. I think I'm more used to the tiramisu from Asian bakeries, in which the flavor is more light and airy. This one was neither, but coffee lovers would likely really enjoy it! They provided complimentary bread as well with some fluffy butter on the side. The bread seemed to be overly toasted - it was hard to bite and the texture was not very soft. When my husband mentioned that the bread might be overcooked, the server said the bread was cooked fresh every day and seemed to be offended by the comment. Anyway, we didn't mean any harm. Just maybe toast the bread a little less? All in all, it was a nice place to dine in for an evening. Would be nice to have a glass of wine next time!
