Best filipino food truck on Maui! Service is excellent and ambiance is nice. I've tried a lot of food on the menu that's not on the picture. They're all consistently good. Thank you Tagpuan!

The bread pastries aren't labeled so if you don't know your bread, your purchase could be surprising. I asked the lady behind the counter twice if she had Spanish Rolls. She said yes but I wasn't sure because it didn't look like what I usually purchase. I felt like she was rushing me to make the purchase. I did end up buying the Spanish rolls. It's a grocery store that also sells hot foods. We got there at 10:30 am and they have lunch items available. 2-item combo is $16.99 which comes with rice and/or Pansit. I was hesitant to order because I can tell that majority of their foods are leftovers from yesterday or days ago. Take for example the longanisa I ordered and took a picture of - I was given 3 pieces but one of them is hard as a rock. The Lechon kawali is also hard as if they were refried. I shouldn't have ordered it but lechon is one of my favorites. The Pansit is too peppery. Some are too dry and some trays are only 1/4 full My husband got freshly made adobo and igado and both were good. Those trays are filled to the brim. Then I ordered Turon and Carioca- and those were awesome and addicting. The people at the store are very nice. I would probably go back if I have to go grocery shopping but if I have to eat, I think I would pass.

I was immediately intrigued by the calamansi pork -- an item I had never seen it on a menu before. One bite and I was hooked. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the bright, citrusy calamansi added a unique tang that made the dish completely unforgettable. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it after coming home. We also tried the pancit noodles, pork sisig, and mochiko chicken, and every dish was excellent. The pancit was packed with flavor, the sisig was gelatinous (fir those who are into it), and the mochiko chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. For my first visit to Maui and my first time trying Da Soriano Grindz, this food truck set the bar incredibly high. If you're visiting Maui and want amazing Filipino food that's a little different from what you'll find elsewhere, don't skip this spot. The calamansi pork alone is worth the trip.

There's some interesting finds here if you take the time to look around and they have more variety than some of the other little Asian markets around town. My favorites are of course, the snacks. From chips to chocolates - many of their products remind me of my childhood vacations in the Philippines. They also have a hot food line that feature your typical Filipino dishes like pork n peas, dinakdakan, adobo, chicharon, empanada, lumpia, and more. You can get them in plate lunch style form or containers to serve as entrees. What I really come here for though is the Mais Con Yelo -- the only place I know on island that offers this delectable cool treat. Mais Con Yelo is a layered, Filipino dessert that consists of sweet corn, shaved ice, evaporated milk, leche flan, and a scoop of CORN & CHEESE ice cream. I love corn and cheese ice cream and the whole combo of ice and evaporated milk are SO good! It's similar to a halo halo, but with corn. For whatever reason, the last time I got it, the aunty made it so so good that I can't stop thinking about it and will probably go get more tomorrow. Hahah. Speaking of ice cream, they also have the Magnolia boba ice creams here in various flavors and I really, really like that ice cream. I've only seen it around a few stores here so if you like that, you can find it here too. Check them out sometime!

Let's just say there wasn't a single thing on the table I regretted ordering. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better. Honestly, if calories don't count on vacation, I was doing great. Huge shout out to Joe! He kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. I told him to surprise me with a drink, and he came back with the Island Magic...and wow, he wasn't kidding. That drink was dangerously good. If I didn't have a flight to catch in an hour, Joe probably would've had me missing my plane! Great food, great drinks, great service, and a clean, welcoming place. What more could you ask for? Tiffany's is officially my #1 must visit spot in Maui. Food: We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, miso butterfish, garlic furikake fries, hamachi sashimi, garlic noodles, and crispy chicken. My favorite was the hamachi sashimi. What I enjoyed about this dish was the diced maui onion that offset the citrus from the ponzu. The flavors are light, and refreshing. The most disappointing was the crispy chicken. I thought it was too salty, but that's my preference and salt tolerance. The miso butterfish was also a great dish. The fish was buttery and flavored well. Not too saucy but the perfect amount of sauce. Service: Service is friendly, like most of the restaurants on Maui. The food was served in a timely manner. The ambiance is casual and felt like a bar restaurant. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return. After ordering 6-7 dishes, I wanted to be blown away by at least 4-5 of them, but that wasn't the case. Do yourself a service and try it out at least once if you are curious!

The parking lot was almost full but we managed to find a spot by the front door. Upon entering the store, the grocery section is to the left with a good selection of Filipino food & a produce section. To the right is the take out line & a few tables if you want to dine in. The line was pretty long but it moved fast. There are several friendly ladies behind the counter that quickly served up your plate. Most of the entrees had signs on them. They have such a nice spread to choose from. Prices are reasonable & they don't skimp on the quantity. I had a 2-entree plate for $15.99. 1 entree is $10.99, 3-entree is $19.99. All plates come with rice or pancit, or you can do half & half. I got the half & half with pork adobo & teriyaki chicken. The plate was yummy The pancit had 2 different noodles, the clear & the regular pancit noodles. There was an ample amount of veggies and shiitake mushrooms. The pork adobo had good flavor & well seasoned. Not too many fatty pieces & very tender. It didn't have as much as a vinergry taste but still was good. The teriyaki chicken was well flavored with a little sweetness, not overly dry, tasty as well. There was so much food, it's definitely a shareable plate or leftovers for a couple of days. They also have several soups & the entrees can be purchased a la carte. Overall, this place is worth going to. Don't let the long line fool you. This is a place to get some delicious Filipino food at reasonable prices, plates full of food, friendly & quick service. Support local @

Wow. My husband missed out as he waited in the car, he could have grab all his favorites Filipino goods! I looked around and browsed the grocery products before I get to the hot food/take out selection as I know I will be buying me some foods. What I like about Paradise Supermart is the items are organized, there are tons of products. What I don't like is most items has no prices or sign, even the produce. It will have to be a surprise or ask at the register. The prices are on high side but hey we need Filipino goods no matter the cost. The huge bag of wing bean caught my eyes, never seen them grown so huge before, no prices, when I ask the staff, it was $6.99! Pricey, on Oahu they cost $2-$3 per bag. The hot food selection, wow! This is my favorites! So many selections to choose from and even desserts galore! I got the 1 entree plate to try $9.99, for 2 items = $14.99, the difference in entree choices is $5. kinda steep. I wanted to try the chicken adobo and noodles. If the food is good, I would be back for my Filipino fix on Maui. Also got banana lumpia and a huge piece of the fried pork belly. We ate the food that night when we got back to Oahu and the verdict, chicken thighs were used which chicken wasn't tender, more hard to chew. I never tried adobo in thighs before & missing the adobo sauce, I like to add that to my rice. The noodles were good, I like that it comes with mix of canton and bihon noodles, just how my in-laws would make it. The fried roast pork, I loved! I will be back for more of this fried crispy goodness, I chopped the pork in to pieces and saved in freezer to use in my Sari Sari soup or add to ramen noodles. All in all, despite the chicken adobo, Paradise Supermart is a great place for all your Filipino goods, sweets, grocery stop, here on Maui!! & Oh., BTW if you wanted to enjoy the Filipino foods right away, there are few tables too .

Luckily I had an extra set of eyes helping me look lol. I've been following this store on Facebook and what got my need to come here was the fact that they are now selling ube butter mochi!!! Yay!!! The store rep was very pleasant and was quick to offer assistance! This store has so many different Asian products! Not to mention a wide variety of longanisa sausages, fish, meats, etc.... I was able to get what I came here for (ube butter mochi) and a few more items. Sad to say I did have to share with my husband haha... My only complaint is the butter mochi wasn't cut into pieces, it was just a really big slice placed in a plastic container. Hopefully they will be able to fix that, then again maybe it's not meant for sharing!!! Lol My overall experience here was great! So, if you are looking for a one stop Asian store this is it!!!
