    Breakfast Club Sandwich

Tried out Island Dogs for breakfast and it was a good choice. The bartender was friendly and took care of us. The Breakfast Club Sandwich was something different so had to try that and it was great. Loved the Tater Tots as the side we sat at the bar but there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Service was great very attentive for the crowd they had. The place has a cool vibe easy going. Food was good burger was good. Cheese pizza good. The Key West salad was good. Buffalo pizza was good.

Super cute place in Ley West! The food was great. We just had bar snacks but saw plenty of meals going out and everything looked great. They have an actual ABC store located to the side of the restaurant, if you need more alcohol. There's plenty of that in Key West The service was super fast, even though they were pretty packed. Our bartender was really fun and interacted with us the whole time. If you love dogs, you have to check out the merchandise. They have the cutest t shirts and stickers. Be sure to check out the paw prints on the concrete floor when you're there!

    Breakfast club, awesome!

We have stopped at Island Dogs a few times and have found the food, drinks and atmosphere to be outstanding. Great location, service and laid back vibe is a blast. Highly recommended!

Great little bar/restaurant in Key West! Key West Cobb salad and the Smashburger's are fantastic! Extremely clean, great prices and the people were super friendly! Nice place to get away from the Duvall Street crowd, highly recommend

Emily was our server (it was not her birthday and she didn't turn 39) But we stopped in on our self guided tour while on our Virgin voyage cruise. The food was tasty. The drinks were good. And our server Emily was great! Plenty of fans to keep you cool inside while eating and listening to the live band and people watching as we snacked and sipped

A cool spot to go into while perusing through the hot Florida climate in the Keys. We were greeted quickly and invited to a high top with a perfect view of front street. Our food came out quickly and the food was freshly prepared. If you're in Key West, stop in.

This place is open air, very close to the corner of Duvall and front. They have good live music. I recommend the Philly egg rolls and bar pie pizza. The staff is friendly and awesome.

But, for my wife who is Gluten Free, they scored big points by going above and beyond. She ordered a dish that had plantains, and was disappointed to hear the plantains weren't gluten free. She has been GF for years, and has become accustomed to being disappointed with what she can't have. Imagine her delight (joy!) when they brought over plantains prepared GF - just for her!!! That made her so happy - service like that isn't common these days. VERY well done, Caroline's !!!! And thank you!!!

Right after I sat down a waiter came around the corner, almost tripped over my chair, which startled me. Not to mention there was a huge tray of food in his hand that almost fell on me, so again I was startled! It was totally fine though, accidents happen!!! Instead of acting professional and apologizing/laughing it off, the waiter throws our utensils on the table and runs away. Then 5 min later we get a new waiter who seemed annoyed with us because his coworker accidentally tripped on my chair???? What bothered us was how short our waiter was with us, yet so kind to all the other tables around us. We ate quickly and left but our original plan was to stay a bit longer and order drinks with dinner... Weird and unprofessional!

The prices were friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and the combination of cold drinks and spicy food gave me enough courage to face whatever horrors waited outside. Unfortunately, after ordering my second beer, the lights began flickering and a mysterious voice whispered, "One more round." I assumed it was a ghost until I realized it was just someone at the bar making a recommendation. Then the salsa started moving on its own. I bravely consumed it anyway. By the end of the night, I had defeated the haunted salsa, secured another inexpensive beer, and escaped with my soul mostly intact. Mary Ellen's is a great stop for cheap drinks, Mexican food, and the possibility of being spiritually possessed by a particularly aggressive jalapeño. Five stars, though I recommend keeping an eye on the chips.

While I was checking it out, the bouncer at the bar next door told me it was worth a visit, which sealed the deal. Later that evening, I convinced my friends to go with me. They were expecting a full sit-down dinner, but this is more of a counter-service spot with 6-7 bar stools inside. The setup is simple: place your order at the counter, then either grab a stool or head to the bar next door, where they'll bring your food when it's ready. We chose the bar's patio, which gave us a clear view of the restaurant. It was reassuring to see other groups having their meals delivered over too--it felt like we had discovered the right local gem. The wait was about 25-30 minutes, but that only confirmed everything was being made fresh. And let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. Our group ordered two jerk chicken plates with plantains, mac n' cheese, and slaw; one oxtail with black beans, rice, and mac n' cheese; and one jerk burger with fries. Every single dish was a hit. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice and heat from the scotch bonnet peppers, balanced with bold Caribbean flavors. The oxtail was tender and flavorful, and even the sides like mac n' cheese and plantains stood out. All in all, this was easily one of the best Caribbean meals I've had anywhere. A true must try when in Key West.
