They were extremely kind and compassionate and got me in and out thankfully, they stayed true to their word from the start which I appreciate the most and their communication was definitely top tier. Not to mention the service itself, they repaired my car and got me back on the road as promised even with their busy schedule. I am more than satisfied with the highly professional service I received while here on a very stressful day for me.

And what I experienced was NO pressure on needing to change and cabin or air filters every time! I asked about them and they said they didn't need changing. The dealership pressured me EVERY time to get new filters. Last visit was for a Cooling system fluid flush and they changed the filters then, all at a reasonable cost and time frame. Avonly at the front counter is personable and friendly. On one occasion where I chose to wait for my car I watched her help customers and take calls. In one instance a caller wanted some sunroof help. She explained that they didn't service sunroofs. She referred them to another place that does and told them if they couldn't find help there they would take a look at it as a courtesy to see if they could help. Another example of their excellent customer service was after I had paid I happen to mention the spoiler on my Sante Fe hatch was loose and a nut had come off that secured it. She and another technician came out and in less than 10 minutes had it properly back on and checked all fittings to make sure it was safe. (no charge) I miss this kind of hometown service. I will patronize them and share my experience with others looking for the same awesome treatment.

Erik (mechanic) and Steve (owner) were extremely efficient and knowledgeable in all things…read moretransmission, and also honest and kind. I bought a 2006 Ford diesel e450 recently. I bought the van to save money so that I can haul my own material for a remodel. I bought it in Auburn and trying to drive it north of Bellingham. I got an inexpensive ODB reader, so I knew there was a transmission issue before starting the trip. But, it turned out worst than I thought. It slipped and chuckled on highway badly after about 30 mins driving on highway. So, I had to exit the highway and get help. One shop quoted me $550 just for the diagnostic, and not willing to give out any kind of estimate even for worth-case scenario... A nearby shop gave me a "free" diagnostic, and told me I need full transmission rebuild. But, they then charge me $140 for diagnostic when I didn't go ahead with the rebuild. I called Transmission Outlet and told Steve about my problem. He was upfront on how much they charge for full rebuild if needed (and they do it themselves, so warranty will not be an issue) and told me they would not charge me anything for diagnostic even if I ended up not doing the repair. So, I bought the car there. Erik looked at it in the next morning and told me the problem was exactly what the ODB reader said. He estimated it would only take 2 hours of labour told me exactly how much the parts and trans-oil would cost. Got it out of the door at the estimated time and the exact amount (1/5 of a full-rebuild). The transmission now shifts wonderful. Unfortunately, there was another problem with my Ford. It lost power intermittently. Not knowing the problems, I called Steve and he sent Erik and gave me diagnostic where my car stalled. It was clearly not a transmission problem. Erik was very sympathetic gave me as much information as he can so I can find a diesel mechanic to help. I finally got a diesel mechanic and got the other problem fixed. The other problem were related to the cam shaft sensor and it got broken housing so the problem only appeared when it rained hard. It verified everything Erik said. What planned as a two-hour trip ended up being a weeks-long journey. Erik and Steve were the very best people I met in the journey. They were very upfront, and willing to share the knowledge and honored everything they said thru-out; there were no misunderstanding and surprises. They definitely went way beyond and came help me on the other issue, I am very thankful for the kindness. They care about their work and the clients. I have no doubt they will honor their warranty. I wish they do more than just transmission.

I am writing this on behalf of my mother in law. She has been a long time customer here and never…read morequestioned the service. She recently brought her car in for an oil change and they brought up a few other items that she should take care of, one of them being her brakes. The CSR gave her a form that listed she needed pads, rotors, and calipers to the tune of +/- $1,800. Thankfully my son was with his grandma and the suggestion of calipers struck him as odd. I am a mechanic so they had me take a look at the information provided. The Burlington Automotives mechanic that did the inspection on her car did call out her brake pads(and a few other small service items), but did not call out rotors or calipers. I did a brake job on her car and, indeed, it only needed pads with the rotors being perfectly smooth and within spec. The calipers were also in great shape with the dust seals still attached, no cracks or anything like that. We went to talk with Louis, the Store Manager, and he first said that pads and rotors are often changed together and thought it was weird the mechanic didn't call out the rotors. I stated it was because the rotors are fine. I asked about calipers and he went into a story about them potentially seizing if there is wear, again, not called out by the mechanic and the dust seals are in great shape. He then said that the CSR was "new" which is a cop out. If the person is "new", they should have oversight and that still doesn't explain how the mechanic got it right and the CSR got it wrong. When I asked what thier policy is for the hand off of information, he said the CSR should take exactly what the mechanic says BUT rotors and pads go together because It can cause uneven wear, we also dont turn rotors, we just go new. It is a real shame because this sort of things gives all mechanics a bad name. To be clear, the actual mechanic's report was on point and I think he was a fine mechanic. The CSR and Store Manager, though, should be ashamed of themselves At the end of the day, they tried to screw an old lady out of a bunch of money. Louis barely apologized, trying to make every excuse he could to get out of admitting they wronged her. They didn't have her best interest in mind.... do they have yours?

They keep my car for over a week did no work to it and charged me over two hundred dollars. The girl who sits at the counter calls me and says " come get your car " I'm like "sweet you got it fixed". She says "no we don't have time to fix it". She tells me I need to make another appointment (over a month out) and the total is going to be thousand dollars. Well it turns out the problem was not that hard to fix. I paid about one hundred dollars for the part it showed up the next day at Orileys I took it home and fixed it myself in about 45 minutes. Look. These people are used to dealing with customers who have deep pockets. Like little old lady's who they can sell blinker fluid to. There are two things I believe are far too valuable to waste. 1.) TIME, 2.) MONEY. What ever. I hope you guys make lots of money that you don't have to work for.
