We did a mix of beef, chicken, & veggie for our guests and every patty was devoured. They were even kind enough to deliver the patties to our venue. Because on Wednesday I ordered…read moreoxtail, curry chicken and a plate of curry goat and it was widely different from the last time I visited a month ago. The food had NO flavor whatsoever - it's as though there was a different cook, it was quite bland. The woman at the front was not friendly, even as I greeted her with a smile and said goodbye with a smile. Still the same unfriendly stance. This is not the same woman I came across a month ago that was friendly. Note to the owner: How you greet your customers makes a huge difference! I have to say how disappointed I am, the food was delicious the last time I was there and now just inedible. Also the curry chicken had chopped small bones, so be wary if you're going to order this dish. I hate to say that I doubt I will be returning and will make the drive down to Asbury when craving Caribbean food. It's unfortunate, but I have to change the rating to 1 star based off of my recent experience. This was a take-out order.

Ordered 4 deconstructed rotis: 2 chicken and potato, a goat and a jerk chicken. 3 with paratha root and 1 with buss up shut. All were super tasty-deep and (not too) spicy flavor, really good sized portions (it gave me 3 meals) and packed nicely. substitutes for the curried potatoes that typically go along with the meal are available. I would personally get the buss up shut variety of roti or opt for the wrapped version in the future the chickpea filling was quite messy due to my error of ripping it. A very satisfying meal nonetheless. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other offerings.

I tried a range of foods and was shocked at the reasonable $7.99 per pound. Plus a tiny bit for the little puff pastry patty. Verdicts: * Patty is indeed a lot of flaky bread, shedding all over as I ate it. But delicious and fresh. Get one, maybe not several. * For the main course I tried the rice and beans, freshly prepared pork, and a couple of plantains (one savory one sweet). Covered in sauce from the chicken legs. What a nice spicy sauce. Pork had a couple of fatty bits, but they were also the flavorful parts and the meat was delicious otherwise. * Got a scoop of the...
