I have family on Whidbey and have been trying for years to get to Island Nosh - they have limited hours and are not generally open on weekends so it's hard to get to. But finally, one day, success! The place is modern and clean and hip inside; and it looks like there is a cute outside too. We had dogs in the car so ordered take out and got Thai iced teas to drink while we were waiting - refreshing and delicious. The food itself is themed around various noodly comfort foods from different parts of the world. I got the Singapore curry noodles and my spouse got a gochugang noodle dish. Both were enough for 2-3 meals and both were good - mine was a tiny bit dry. I wished there were a few more veggies in mine but it was still great. The cost was very reasonable as well. Will definitely go by the next time I am around on a weekday afternoon!

I really like Island Nosh. For a short trip on the ferry over to Whidbey Island, it really feels like I'm much further away from Everett/Seattle than I am. The service is friendlier, a little slower thank the mainland (in a laid-back, good way). The food tastes fresh and healthy. I can take a deep breath. I'm on the Island. Don't pass this place by. Give it a try! You won't be dissapointed.

The food is delicious (it needs a tiny bit more seasoning for my taste but I'm a salt and spice lover, so I can add things as needed). The staff are wonderful, attentive and kind, and the indoor and outdoor seating is wonderful. No complaints except for the short hours (but who can blame them!) We can't wait to come back!

Holy yum! Quick and delicious noodles. I was skeptical if they could do so many dishes (from Italian, Chinese, Thai, German) well- but boy did they! I got the Udon Noodles and my hubs got the Beef Stroganoff (on special). I would have licked the bowl it was so delicious. Definitely stop in- you will not regret it.

A perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and a lovely meal after a long day of online meetings

COVID protocol: Excellent - I feel completely safe eating here or bringing their food home. *On-premises dining is outdoors when weather permits; call for hours. We moved to South Whidbey a month ago and were delighted to find fresh, healthy, and delicious food in Clinton! On nice evenings this is a perfect, tranquil location where you can savor each bite of artfully prepared cuisine and a glass of wine at one of the lawn tables. The take-out is great on rainy nights too, especially the Udon noodles!

Friendly staff. Delicious food - we got the yellow curry bowl and it was incredible. Don't miss out on a browned butter rice krispy!

The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. The restaurant was also spotless, but you can sit outside as well in a cute area.

So so. Service was fine. Nothing special about the place or food. We could use authentic Thai food in the area.

Perfect dishes for the day, warm and so yummy. We had a Tan Tan shrimp and a Tonkatsu, with no additions although it was tempting to amend! The ramen broth is very rich and each was different. You have the option to add sesame oil, chili oil, a delicious soy sauce, 3 kinds of pepper in shakers and a fresh grind of sesame seeds. The egg is cooked to perfection - whites solid and the yolk mostly cooked with the center soft and creamy. A small dish of edamame is served as an appetizer. The staff are friendly and the food was served by the chef with a smile. We enjoyed watching the dishes being created. You might have a wait on a busy day but it is definitely worth it.

Nestled behind the main walking areas, you can follow the street signs to this restaurant. We arrived just before they opened for the evening from 4:30pm. It is not a large restaurant but we were early. Bright and cheerful interior with shelves of Japanese sweets and some souvenirs on the side. Our favorite and go-to is the tonkotsu which has the thicker pork bone broth. We have not visited for a year or so and the price has gone up while the volume seemed to have gone down. Nevertheless the taste was great and we were satisfied with the meal.

There is a very small seating area dedicated to the food truck-- the larger outdoor seating area is reserved for customers of the Brewery. However as long as you order a drink you're welcome to enjoy the food from Ikaika indoors or outdoors. The order process was easy-- they had the full menu on the glass of the ordering booth and a menu board with the gluten free options from their full menu. Once you place the order they give you a beeper that'll work anywhere on the property so you can definitely place the order and head inside the brewery to grab a drink. It did take a long time for our orders to come out-- there were 2 people on average preparing the food while 1 person was in charge of managing the register. The sauce that came with the fish and chips were amazing and got praise from all of us. We also ordered kimchi fried rice and while the kimchi was great, some of the rice tasted undercooked and the celery felt a little strange as an addition. The kalua sandwich was very solid and the buns were toasted beautifully golden and we did order the award winning beans but my partner was not a fan of the sweetness. The coleslaw that came with the fish and chips also had a gingery aftertaste.

Crab cakes were mayo forward and…read moremushy on the inside, albeit a nice brown crust on outside, but it was more of a crab & mayo mash on top of a pesto smear (credit for great tasting coleslaw). Spicy popcorn shrimp and smoked salmon chunks appetizers, and the large front table by the window, were the highlights. To be transparent, my dad loves oysters, and the happy hour oysters were as expected. My son's muscles entree was good - but we had to drain out the sauce from bottom of pot, into the lid of pot, to enjoy the sauce with the cold sourdough bread that came on the side. Sauce was tasty, but overall it was too much work to get to the sauce, and I was disappointed the bread was right out of the bag or not warmed at least. I ordered the Cesar and added salmon. The Cesar dressing was definitely mayo based, but did contain anchovies, so likely homemade, it had potential, but it tasted mostly like mayo. If you don't love mayo, do not get the Cesar. My mom's Louie salad looked pretty boring, and she was disappointed (which is unusual). My son's girlfriend ordered fries and kids butter noodles - kids menu was great!!! Overall the food was just meh. The service was speedy, but our server had little patience for newbies with a couple questions. Since there was an hour way, we ended up at a little restaurant just up the hill, a place with a cocktail sign hanging out front, and their hummus looked homemade amazing. Great choice in beer on tap too. Just saying.
