I normally order the spicy chicken teriyaki, and wanted to try something new and I know Mongolian beef is normally a safe option and I saw they had a praw kind ( thinking it would just be normal and sauce up). Very busy during dinner time. The lady at the counter is not very good at pronouncing English. She also gave priority attention to the people calling in orders, before she finally greeted us at the counter. The food that came was a massive plate for each of us. However, it was a bit dry. When I went over to the condiments area, most of them were hot spicy condiments. Free little cup of greet tea or soup with your meal. The dining area is quite small. The parking lot is also too small as this is a small strip mall with with a big Rite-Aid with drive-through next door. Went in for the first time a few days ago, for lunch, what a hidden GEM!!! The place was packed and there was at least 6 people waiting to order. The lady who took my order was sweet and had very good customer service with everyone. They have a cute little eating area if you choose to stay and eat. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken it came with white rice and a side salad. The chicken was deep fried and then dipped in the sauce. It had a little crunch to it, where most places serve it soggy. NEW OWNERS and NEW NAME 'Teriyaki Bowl' as of July 2019. That being said, and being a regular of #1 Teriyaki, the quality of food, portion size AND price, are all better under the new owners. Meat portions are larger, you get more rice, salad was bigger, and quality of meat cuts were much better! Quite a bit has changed though.... teriyaki sauce is a thicker glaze, their house dressing is more typical of most teriyaki joints (not a ranch based dressing), they no longer have the spicy chili hot sauce and instead use sriracha, they serve a bowl of soup while waiting for your order, and the menu has more to choose from AND Bubble Tea. We ordered the veggi yakisoba, chicken teriyaki and what used to be the 'super combo' (beef, chicken & pork teriyaki)... portions were huge - with the exception of yakisoba which may have been slightly smaller but now comes with 2 heaps of rice too. They also offer several sushi rolls, soups, Udon, more 'wok'-style dishes and so on (see to-go menu pix). In-house menu appears to have more items. Definitely try this place!! read more
