We passed by here on our long walk back from a late lunch and visit to the beach. I must admit I never eat ice cream but I was craving sweets. This is one of those spots that depending on your stance on safety protocols, you'll want to know they don't wear masks. The inside is pretty tight and we walked in on a family also not wearing masks either. We did have our masks on and chose to continue with our order. Came here on a date night and we both really enjoyed our desserts! I'm not a huge ice cream eater, but in the Florida heat, you can't beat it. I had the birthday cake flavour, while my partner had a cheesecake ice cream. We both recommend ours! The location of this place can't be beat. It's close to Cortez Rd, making it easily accessible. It's also directly across from the beach, so you can take your treat and watch the waves. Inside, the decor is cozy, and they have plenty of touristy mugs and trinkets of Anna Maria Island for sale, if that's your thing. There are SO many ice cream choices, it's almost hard to choose! We stopped in for some ice cream one night after dinner. They have a ton of sundae options along with a ton of flavors. I opted for the seasonal pumpkin swirl and butter pecan on a waffle cone. I've given two stars based on the fact that this shop is not following basic precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19. None of the employees wore masks.
