This was our first morning on the island, and we decided to pop in here for breakfast. Definitely the typical greasy spoon eatery; pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, you get the idea. Everything was really good, and the service was pretty friendly and fast.

Quick breakfast spot! Good pancakes and a breakfast burrito. Outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog. Prices are average and food is the same.

Great breakfast place! Our resort recommended the Island Skillet. We were not disappointed. This little place had about 10 tables and wasn't very big. We only waited about 6 minutes and I could tell the staff was used to serving to a crowd. They were friendly, efficient, and on top of it. We ordered our food and were served our delicious breakfast within 15 minutes. (Maybe even a little quicker). The food was yummy. The hash browns were cooked to perfection and my eggs "over medium" really were over medium!! As people came in and out I could see the smiles of the locals and tourists who were also enjoying their first meal of the day. Yup! This one's a keeper!

    I. Overall: Good People and Good Food II. Disclaimer: I have not been paid or compensated to write or share this review by anyone in any way shape or form whatsoever III. The Food: Came to this place for breakfast based on so many good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Super humble joint with no-nonsense food and GOOD KIND PEOPLE and SERVICE. We ordered... - Eggs Benedict which were very tasty and came with Hashbrowns - Veggie Omelette with Hashbrowns which was equally tasty. What made this Omelette EXCEPTIONAL was that the vegetables weren't raw but had been sautéed very nicely and cooked as opposed to being just dumped with eggs like most places that 'think' they know how to make Omelettes - Coffee was good as well IV. Service, Ambience and Charges: This is a nice cutesy place operating in the small market area of Orcas Island. We waited for about 10 minutes and were attended on very kindly. We did go back the next day itself but they had closed by 12 noon. The Gentleman behind the counter was SO kind and referred us to the Outlook Inn for Breakfast along with several other places, which was super kind of Him. For all the food above we paid $45. Would definitely come back to this establishment again for breakfast or brunch.

Short wait, incredibly friendly staff, spectacular service and DELICIOUS food. Just what we were looking for. Re COVID: everything was cleaned and sanitized to my exceptionally high standards. All staff were wearing masks and everyone was 6ft apart.

Best (and biggest) breakfast burrito I've ever had--for only $6.50. Friendly service, too!

The food was alright. Basic breakfast menu items and nothing special. The place is always crowded so get there early.

We had breakfast good for lunch - everything was very good - eggs, sausage patty, hash browns and huevos rancheros. Hit the spot!

Stopped here a few times in the last week while vacationing on Orcas Island. Had a great talk with David during one of our visits. Have us lots of recommendations for bakeries down in SF and near Santa Rosa where we're from. A must stop if visiting Orcas.

Definitely an influx of customers based on ferry arrival times. Plain croissant was alright, and we really enjoyed the peach croissant. Peach was from a jar, but tasty nevertheless. Fantastic ham and leek quiche. There was also an apple sausage pastry, which contained a split chicken apple sausage. Not the best room temp, and would probably pass on this. Would recommend any quiche, as well as interesting flavor combos that stand out to you. If you do order a savory, would recommend taking it home to heat up. Some staples, but a rotating array of pastries between our two visits. Before we left, stopped by again and got the orange morning bun - very tasty. Could definitely taste the orange zest in the sugar. Had I access to a toaster oven, this would have been even more incredible... Super friendly staff! Some indoor seating (couple tables, more outdoor covered/uncovered seating). Buss your own plates/flatware.

Once seated, we had to ask the hostess for silverware. Started w the grilled asparagus ($25) - tasty sauce of garlic scapes, topped with pretty purple flowers that added no flavor. Good flavor, but for 6 stalks this was kinda insane. Scallop crudo ($30) was disappointing - scallop was minimal, very overwhelmed by the rhubarb. Would have expected the ratio to be balanced. Beautiful dish, no less, but this should have been called a rhubarb crudo to accurately reflect the dish. Again, insanely low volume of food. For pizzas, we got the poh-tay-toh ($28) and Gus Gus ($27 - asparagus, green garlic, tarragon, mozzarella, parm). These were more redeeming than the apps, tasty, but not ground shattering. Understandably the "ambiance" was expected since did not have reservations, but even then, the exterior was dusty and we did not feel the staff was present. Outdoor restroom was a step up from a hiking trailhead bathroom. The establishment inside is very nice so YMMV, but our experience was less than stellar. Overall, disappointed by the experience. Pizza was good, but extremely meager portions for the appetizers. It seems the focus of each dish was appearance rather flavor.
