We stopped by Olga Rising during our time on Orcas Island and grabbed a coffee. The coffee was smooth, well-made, and exactly what you want from a quick island stop - simple, balanced, and comforting. It was a great pick-me-up while exploring the quieter side of the island. The café itself has a cozy, laid-back feel with a friendly, local vibe. Service was warm and efficient, and it's the kind of place that feels like a natural part of the community rather than a tourist-heavy stop. Overall, a great little coffee stop in Olga - nothing over the top, just solid coffee in a peaceful setting.

Beautiful little sandwich shop in Eastsound. Outdoor seating only, so it's a summer spot. Often busy, but still great for lunch. Lovely sun-dappled outdoor seating and yummy sandwiches

Bakery case, I sooo wanted the pistachio cake, it looked divine

I was so happy with this cafe! The staff was incredibly nice and the food amazing. I wasn't sure how I would feel with jam on a savory breakfast sandwich (The Olga Rising), but I am a changed woman. It was divine. Everything about the sandwich was fantastic: the biscuit was perfect, the eggs cooked well, and the Jam was just sensational as well, no notes. It was also a huge sandwich. Sadly I didn't get anything from their bakery case, and I have regrets!! It looked superb.

Amazing service, amazing food, cutest seating area. I ate here 4 days in a row. Get any of their breakfast biscuit sandwiches and you won't regret it. I got the olga classic and it was so good. My friends got the doe bay, bacon cilantro, and eggs benedict. Also great coffee and fun seasonal specials!

This was on the highly recommended Things To Do list, so we made it our mission to have breakfast there and I'm glad I did. Biscuits are worth the wait in line. Seriously. And it's filling too! The quirky little shop offers trinkets and other gifts as well. Coffee and tea selection is great. Everything is in to go bags and cups but although I first felt like the experience could be better with real plates and silverware, I quickly realized that due to the traffic this place gets, it's better to have it all disposable to the line can keep moving and therefore freeing up tables to eat. This place should be on everyone's list to dine at.

The cutest place! There was a super long line, but the food and ambiance were both worth waiting for. My family tried their turkey sandwich (their gluten-free bun was delicious!), grilled cheese & simple breakfast biscuit sandwich. They even had a gluten-free raspberry rice krispy treat that I'll be dreaming about!

Delicious coffee and chai tea. Quaint near the water spot. Will be back for sure . Great sandwich menu and all day breakfast

This place hit the spot! I had the Italian and my partner had the Tuna sandwich. The flavor was good and each sandwich came with a small bag of chips. The bread tasted fresh and it was a large roll! My only wish was that there was more meat in my sandwich. My partner enjoyed her sandwich as well, but wished there was an option to get it toasted. The cashier and sandwich makers were very friendly and our order came out quickly. There is a lot of outdoor options for seating which was perfect for the sunny day we visited Orcas! The spot itself is cute and cozy. I can't wait to come back.

Great coffe and even better sandwiches! Beautiful little shop with great staff. The grilled cheese was really good and the wait wasn't too bad when it's busy

Benedict biscuit was really good but too much for me. The wait was worth it. Small tables on gravel under the trees was pleasant.

The location is wonderful. Water views, downtown, so it's easy to get around. Parking was easy and even though we were early for our reservation they sat us right away. The mids- when I made the reservation online I made a note about it being a very special birthday for my wife. I did not expect anything for free, but I anticipated they might at the minimum say something. Not one person ever mentioned it. The lows. The service, well intended, but under trained. I won't list everything but the prime example is once the food was dropped the server did not show up again until we were almost done. The food was sub par. We had Miso glazed cod and French onion soup. We weren't happy with either. By the looks of reviews, our experience was not normal. We hope it is just due to going before the tourist season starts. No matter the reason, it was a big let down.

We stumbled across crèmecart at the Saturday Farmers' Market on Orcas Island. The two ladies who run the crèmecart, Michelle and Sommer, sound like they are regulars at the Saturday Farmers' Market, and other island locations as well. They rotate many cool ice cream flavors and cookie combinations. Their crèmecart Facebook page listed many enticing flavors, including: butter cookie and strawberry cheesecake ice cream; dark chocolate cookie and ginger ice cream; chocolate cookie with: salted caramel ice cream or coconut ice cream or chocolate ice cream; lemon cookie with: lavender ice cream or vanilla ice cream; gluten free almond cookie with vanilla or chocolate ice cream; and on July 4th, Apple Pie Ice Cream Sandies. How fun is that? So, like any food cart, crèmecart is seasonal, and moves around following the crowds. Thankfully, Orcas is a small island, and I promise you, they are worth searching for! Five Stars.

By the time I got there, lots of the ice cream sandwiches were sold out. All of the sandwiches are prewrapped and kept cold in the cart, so once they're gone... They're really gone. There were at least a dozen food stalls selling anything from home baked bread, cookies, donuts, Mexican food, and Asian. There were stalls selling arts and crafts which are unique to Orca's. Orcas has a long and rich agricultural history and I've seen plenty of farms and roadside farm stands that stood vacant in Decemeber. I was stoked for summer. Cue COVID.... Well, I'm happy to report that the market was still happening. I'm glad they didn't throw in the towel on it, though from what I'm told it was vastly different this year. Oh, you can imagine that in previous years there wasn't a mandatory handwashing station at the entrance. And I imagine there weren't dots on the ground to indicate where you should wait in order to approach each booth one party at a time. But more importantly, I'm told that the market, even though it's small and mighty in its biggest years, was only very teeny this year. There were probably 7-8 booths there, and that made for a quick visit. Still, we bought some flowers at one booth, and a bar of locally made soap at another, so we did our best to support the vendors who are making an effort despite the restrictions. I have nothing but love for a farmers market, and nothing but admiration for the participants. Though we were only here for a little bit, I'm glad we made it.
