A.R. reviewed that this place was hit or miss, so I think I may give it another go. My first visit was disappointing, though there were some bright spots. The Seafood Soup was excellent. The cabbage in the Shrimp Rolls was perfectly cooked, though the shrimp rolls were bland, with a too-hard, almost crunchy wrapper. Young Chow friend rice was a little bland, but had some unusual touches like pineapple and mushroom. The Shrimp with Broccoli was perfectly cooked. The General Tso had some type of soft batter on it, not crispy at all. It was basically sweet and sour chicken with General Tso's sauce on it, but with no heat whatsoever. . I was invited to after baptism party at this tony sushi. The party was served buffet style and everything seem ok, but i noticed 2 of the dishes (a chicken and broccoli and pepper and onions with beef, their sauce) tasted off so i stopped eating it. My favorite sushi spot in my home town. The fish is always fresh and flavorful, while also being properly served and cut. The tuna boy and salmon boy are the strongest options on the menu for people who don't like American rolls that make a mockery of the culture. Takeout is always ready when I arrive, and the dining experience is always comfortable with a touch of class. With the exception of summer help, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. read more

Awesome sushi spot in Mastic. Asian fusion place so you have a choice of Thai, Chinese and Japanese. The shopping center looks a little shady but the inside looks amazing since they renovated the place. Definitely worth checking out. read more

This place served us our chips plus rat dropping. When we complained about the rat poop we were ignored and when the chips were replaced, they could have been the same ones for all we know. That was bad enough to deal with when they ignored my food allergies but when I asked waiter to fix a new order he said they "would just wash it off!" for me! Seriously he brought back the same dish (I recognized the plate by a chip/crack on the edge. I asked what a certain vegetable was called (because it tasted like shit) and was asked, "Why? Are you allergic to that too?" in a sarcastic tone as he gathered up the plates from the table. I SAID NOTHING! I WAS SHOCKED AT THE FOOD QUALITY, BUT BLOWN AWAY BY THE RUDENESS!!! Last time I went here they messed up my order and gave me the complete wrong thing. I called right away and let them know they said they will give me a "credit" and my next order will be free. I asked 4 times how will I know this credit is credited should I come in for proof and they told me no, it's fine it will come up with my phone number....Later that day when I went to eat I found a fly in my rice !!! I went back today to let them know they gave me a credit and they said they had NO RECORD of the credit I was so called given. They argued with me refusing to give me the food. Half price dine in Sushi from 3pm-5pm. Can't beat that. Food is always good. There sushi party platters are always amazing! I'd prefer if they played music or turning the volume on the tv up a bit. I really like this place!! the sushi is very good and the service is very quick! I usually order a sushi combo which includes soup and salad! I haven't tried the Thai but I would like to. They always allow me to swap out the miso soup on my combos for the hot and sour! The hot and sour soup is very good but I usually go here just for Sushi. I ordered a shrimp Pad Tai to go, when I went to pick it up they had not even started the dish, first I waited for a while for a simple noodle dish, when I opened the dish it was a big disappointment, the noodles were dried with no flavor and the shrimp was under cook! I called them to informed them and the answer I received was: "customer complaint about too much sauce", wrong answer, you should tell your customers first that you are sorry, then you give them whatever none sense excuse you would like. I used to live in Shirley and eat at this place commonly. I would always order the sesame chicken dinner combo that comes with an egg roll. The sesame chicken is so delicious.... I now live in Westbury and have tried 3 different Chinese food places around here and I can't find anything nearly as good as tony's sushi is. I had the half price sushi once before and it was alright but sushi isn't really my thing. If you like just regular Chinese food, you'll love the Chinese food from here. Beware of this place!!!! Especially during their "Half Off Sushi" time/deal. Be sure to check your receipt before you pay. They will purposely overcharge you like they did to us! When we brought their mistake to their attention the extremely rude waitress rolled her eyes. The boss was worse. They will compensate by making the taxes higher by charging you the amount before the discount (half off). Our bill was $8.00 because it was half off of $16. The tax is 8.625%. With a bill that comes out to $8 the tax would be .69= $8.69 Instead they apply the tax to the Amount before the discount. The women then tried to imply that we were not capable of math when they were obviously wrong. A bill of $8 with a tax of 8.625% would not be $1.38. A bill of $16 would have a tax of $1.38. When we tried to explain it they pretended they did not understand. Terrible service! Very rude and sketchy owners. They even sent their child to give us our bill because they did not want to correct it. It's NOT worth it. Next time we are going to Okeno Sushi. read more

Too pricey they give you only a few pieces with the specialty rolls. Most sushi places on LI Serve 8-12 pieces for specialty rolls costing $14+ but this place gives you max 6 pieces..after spending $35 we were still hungry. Went for the lunch specials and they are priced well. Service was non existent and not anywhere to be found. Food was good, but it took forever to place the order and upon finishing forever to get the waitress to bring a check. Go here if you are not in a hurry. The girl at the front register is extremely rude. I came in and asked if I could sit down and eat at 10:15 at night and she said no because they close at 1030. When I said "oh, I'm sorry I thought you closed at 11 that's what the door says" she then said "the sign is old". Okay, I get that. They need to update their sign. Then she gave me my total, and i asked her if I could get two sides of spicy mayo and she asked me for another 2$. When I said "oh, I come here all the time and you've never charged me a dollar per sauce" she said "I know you do and I charge every customer that I can show you other customers receipts" then I said again "oh that's a lot for spicy mayo, but that's fine". She then started to yell and said "you can talk to my manager and he will tell you the same thing". This is when I raised my voice and said "I never asked to speak to the manager and I don't appreciate you yelling at me" she then got all huffy and puffy and starting yelling in another language.
