I have been going here for 3 years (on and off) and I have never had a better tan then here. Their monthly tanning plans are great and reasonably priced!! I never have to wait for a bed either. All the staff is so friendly and answers any questions you have. They keep all beds very clean, right when someone leaves they go clean it (which makes me so happy to not worry about if it's getting cleaned) as well as the whole building. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!! Went in for a spray tan and right off the bat it seemed like a terrible idea. The girl who sprayed me, Eva, looked like she had just rolled out of bed. No makeup, hair a crazy mess and she was wearing a guys t shirt, just looked so unprofessional. She had no idea what she was talking about, as if she never tanned herself. How are you going to sell something, you're not even familiar with. Of course she didn't!!!! She said she would give me the spray tan for free but that wasn't going to fix all the dripping and patches she left. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would but unfortunately I can't. read more

1) I went in for a quick tan before my vacation and they had the promotional sale for ten days of tanning. So I payed for it three days before my vacation and tanned for only three days, went on vacation, and when I came back to use the rest they said it already expired? 2) I asked the woman on the phone and in the tanning salon how it worked. She told me you have TEN TANNING SESSIONS. So I thought perfect ten services is enough for right now. 3)there is a difference when you explain to someone and misleading them too believe that there are ten sessions for you was all I was told thinking who the hell gives someone 2 weeks to use there sessions when you buy ten services. I drove there and was turned away. Beyond pissed off at the customer service and the fact that no one told me you had an expiration of only two weeks to use them. What bullshit is that. 4) tanning for 20min for three sessions in a row did not do anything FYI. I have been to much nicer and better tanning salons that have way better tanning beds read more

I just came here yesterday for my very first time and took my first shower after my spray tan--so here comes the review... I love it!!! I have some allergic reaction so there are rash-like marks on my legs that I wanted to hide and it definitely covered it as much as it could. Although it did not fully cover it--I am not blaming it on the spray tan process. The only reason why I doc'ed out 1 star is because I felt that ( in the beginning) the receptionist/ technician was a bit rude starting from the phone call till when I walked in. There was a usual guest that came in a few seconds before me, but she kind of looked like the worker and walked to the side ( as she was super tanned herself) and wasn't in front of the receptionist both, I assumed she was a worker. The receptionist just said OK can you wait, she came first.... I thought that was pretty rude; especially for being a first time customer. After that, she apologized and it went well. She also suggested a carry on spray tan brand from Playboy and she personally used it herself when she wanted a quick tan and was extremely and knowledge. The spa/store itself was on a slight modern and clean. Definitely worth it for $19 bucks! I got the groupon deal, so head over to groupon and get this deal because its defiantly worth it for $19 bucks + they use Sugar Based tanning!! I believe the normal price is $45 and if you invite a new customer you'll get a free spray tan. read more

Not too happy about this place.. They close at 8.... But stop letting you tan at 7:30... I have a wedding to be at on Saturday and I really needed to tan today. Love this place! No wait!ing to get a bed! I started out with the laying down tanning bed for 13 minutes and I have slowly gotten a golden tan. I think I need about 5 more sessions or up my time. The standing up tan beds are stronger, but I honestly can't see a thing in their with my uv glasses and I was scared to touch the hot bulbs. Plus it felt so confine and small, but I would recommend going for the laying down tan machines. The girls who work here are gracious and friendly. This place is right off the freeway and I purchased 1-free month of Unlimited tan for $19.00. You will have to purchase uv google for about $5.00. Bring your own tanning sunscreen or be ready to purchase one. i would also recommend you bring a thicker towel to cover your face with the one they provide you with is very thin and small. I love this place! I feel super comfortable and it feels clean. A must try! read more

I have had great experiences here for custom airbrush tans. The staff has always made me feel comfortable and they are also very good at giving great tans. Last time I went in I realized hours later that I had left an expensive and very sentimental ring on the chair in the tanning room. I was sick to my stomach that I would never get it back. To my delight, Alexa found the ring for me and put it in an envelope with my name on it. I was able to pick it up the next day. She was sweet and honest and I will definitely be going back. read more

Decent tanning place. The girls that work there are pretty cool and easy to talk to. They have 2 different level of beds. I'm easy to please and the fact that they have jolly rancher candies in each room makes me happy. Wish they were open a little later but overall a good place and decent pricing. I was very disappointed with my service today. I did the mystic tan last night and saw no results this morning so I went in to ask for an airbrush or my money back and they said I could only do a level higher for a extra $5. The owner said my skin must not have taken to which I just said I spray tan monthly elsewhere and that is not the case. She would not refund my money and wanted to charge me to do it again. I am very disappointment and would have been very appreciative for just a refund and I would have gone elsewhere and not take the chance of it not working again. Instead I paid the $5 and then the machine just did not work. It spit out the spray as if it wasn't working and I still don't have my money back. Try elsewhere so this doesn't happen to you! Instead I had to go somewhere else and now I have paid twice. read more

Had the Groupon deal for the spray tan and I loved it! The Groupon was such a great deal!! The girl at the front took me back, I applied the barrier cream on my hands/feet and then after the tan she turned on the fan and I dried and went on my way. I did have some discoloration on my hands/wrists, they looked soo dark, I applied the cream but maybe not enough? She told me not to wash my hands, but I think next time I will use a wipe so they aren't so dark. Reasons for taking off a star: The girls who answer the phones aren't very helpful or nice (Shandy? I think), I had told them I had never been and what to do before/expect and she told me just come in with no makeup/lotion and that was it. I wish she would have told me to wear something black and not tight and to exfoliate because the tan did sink into some of my pores making it difficult to wash off evenly after the 5-10 days. I felt dumb talking to her, like I was stupid for not knowing all the information. **After doing some research they are a bit more expensive than all the other places in the area, they charge $45 for a custom tan while other facilities only charge $25-39. If they had another groupon I would purchase it, but they are a bit too overpriced to make it a continual thing, I will be trying out another local place to compare. read more

The salon is extremely clean and the bulbs were all up to date on all of their beds. I was given a tour by the owner Yley who was so very nice and helpful. This place is fantastic! I've been trying to get tan for a vacation and within three weeks have the perfect base tan. It is VERY clean and always smells nice. The staff is perfect! They help you if you have any questions with lotions, beds, etc. I love my little treat of a jolly rancher each time I go. There is hardly a wait and I never make an appointment. All of the girls in the last years have been friendly, knowledgable, and always made me feel comfortable. The second most important thing in choosing a tanning salon is their bulbs! There has never been a time when I felt the bulbs were ineffective and anytime I ask the girls how long the bulbs have been in a particular bed, they know. I recently moved to fullerton and needed to find a tanning salon close by. The first few trips here were great especially for the monday mystic deal. The next trip Not so good... Im standing in the booth...i go to press the button to start...its not starting..i keep trying and nothing..i yell for the girl and she tells me to put a robe on...she cant get it to work either. Turns out they need a new button. Ive gone in a hand full of times since and they need some other piece... Its been atlesst 3 months...really? If you get out of work late during the week and it's an hour before closing time, don't even bother going because they apparently stop taking customers 45 minutes before closing time to clean..? Their beds took me a good 4 months before I saw an actual tan. The Mystic? Don't even waste your money. I have self-tanner that works better than this stuff. Also- I've been turned away for coming at 7:40 because they do "last call for Mystic tan at 7:30pm." And after I was told that/turned away, the girl had the nerve to tell me "have a good day." No. You have a good day. Such a joke. It takes literally 30 seconds to get sprayed then you're done. Not worth the price. It's upsetting because this place is so close to my house. I heard about Island Tan from a coworker and I have never actually tanned in a booth before so I had to try to it out. The girls in the front were super informative and very helpful they walked me through all of it. I loved how clean everything was it definitely made me feel even more comfortable! I used the stand up tanning bed which was actually really cool, there is a large fan so you don't actually get hot, and they play music while you're in there....so let's just say I may have danced my way through my tanning time :) I brought my own towel but it turned out I didn't need to they have clean towels for when you are done but you don't get sweat and I didn't even need it. I especially liked the jolly rancher waiting for me when I was all done ;) For a first timer, this was amazing I will be going often now and would highly recommend them to anyone. They have tanning beds, stand up booths and also do spray tanning so I am sure they have what you are looking for!!! Thanks ladies! read more

I went here to get my first ever airbrush tan for my sisters wedding. I got a Groupon to use here, and called to book an appointment. No one picked up, so I looked at their website and clicked a button that said 'book us online'. It asked for payment information (I assumed it was for in case you miss your appointment they can still charge you). It then said I wouldn't be charged until the time of my appointment, so I thought they would adjust the price when I got there according to my Groupon. HOWEVER, when I got there they said I'd already been charged the full amount, and they were not able to accept the Groupon since I had booked online. This information was not ANYWHERE. The receptionist said it had happened to another customer and all she could do was suggest I try to get a refund from Groupon because she couldn't refund me. The whole reason I chose this place was because of the Groupon. It was not convenient for me to get to, they were wildly unhelpful (even though the exact same thing has happened to other customers) and to top it off, the airbrush was horrible. I'm naturally fair skinned, and the lightest shade they have is medium. I ended up orange and patchy! It didn't even out as they assured me it would. I will absolutely NEVER be back. Their rude and talk down to you. I bought a groupon for a spray tan I had been in one time before and didn't think the staff was that nice but it wasn't enough to ruin my total experience. So I went in and the lady did my spray tan I told her what I wanted and she did the opposite so she had to spray me one more time to get the color I was looking for (wasn't very nice about it). When we went to the desk to pay I gave her my phone with my groupon and she said no they wouldn't accept it because it was for new customers and I wasn't new I had been in before. Isn't that something that should have been very clear from the beginning. She proceeded to tell me it would be $39 and I let her know I didn't have money on me because I had the groupon. Long story short she wouldn't take it and I had to call my husband to bring me money. Embarrassing and infuriating experience. If I would have known they wouldn't accept the groupon I purchased for their salon I never would have gone through with spending $40 on top of that now I have to get my money back from groupon. Over all a terrible experience and they worst part is the lady did not care at all she said 'okay out of $40.. $1 back have a good day' in a fake smiling manor. This place is awful and so over priced! I went in last week for their 30 days for $30 special. I was pressured into signing up for the $60 special instead. I was then told I needed to purchase eye wear and tanning lotion. I stressed several times that I did not want any products with bronzer in them and was sold a product that retails everywhere else for $22 for a whopping $60. After using this product for 3 consecutive days while tanning my hands, knees and elbows turned orange, clearly there was bronzer in the lotion. Rather than replacing the lotion I was told that I could pay the difference for of course a more expensive product that definitely did not have bronzer in it. Once again a $24 product was marked up to $62. After using the new lotion once by the end of the day my already orange body parts were even worse as well as my legs and arms had turned orange. I would love nothing more than to go into the salon and demand a full refund, but I know it will get me absolutely no where. If you enjoy dealing with uneducated, rude, and pushy staff, over paying for tanning products, and having an orange artificial looking tan than this is the place for you! I walked in there prepared to pay $30 for a month of tanning and am now out $138, this place is a joke! read more
