Hi OPB... Can't thank your driver Jacob enough-for a great…read moreevening this past weekend! He drove seven of us "Grandma's Gone Wild" all in our 60's two of us celebrating birthday's and a Bridal Shower.. yup you heard that right! around the island! Jacob made sure we were comfortable and most importantly having fun! He gave us a treat and stopped on the side of the road somewhere near Haleiwa so we could take selfies with some horses that were grazing in the grass. Sounds funny but there were lots of horses. We were able to take more selfies along the way with beautiful ocean scenic views. Jacob knew just whee to go for that. Jacob is the best! We look forward to booking another special event in the future and will definitely tell others about OPB and Jacob! Thank you from all seven of us ladies.

An extra shout-out to our driver, Delson; he was an absolute gem. We rented the bus for four hours on a Saturday, and he was incredible at staying in touch and being exactly where we needed him throughout the night. He even circled back to multiple stops when a few people realized they'd left phones or purses on the bus. We didn't have a set route; everyone wrote down a bar, and we spun the wheel roulette-style, which made the night even more fun. We ended up extending the rental by another two hours and would've gone longer if road closures for the marathon hadn't cut us off. Highly recommend OPB and Delson for any group event! We will definitely be booking again.

I loved the vibe of Northshore as the scenery was lush and lots of beautiful spots for snorkeling. The hotel does a great job of making the guests feel at home. Had to change rooms because I was put in a room right next to the pool and next to theebttance way to the pool area. First night did not get any sleep due to drunk people partying in the pool area and slamming doors but we were moved to a quiet area of the hotel away. The rest of our stay was more peaceful. Kudos to Zach for his kindness and professianalism. He made our stay enjoyable. Not sure why they charge a parking fee as they have a very wide open parking lot and it is not limited. The area is in akind of rural area of Oahu as North shore is more peaceful and has a laid-back feel compared to Waikiki. The pool is nice. It is also located next to a plaza with many food options. There is a food truck with amazing loco moco

I would like to share a disappointing experience I had with an employee named Selena at the…read moreMarriott coffee bar during our stay. On the morning of August 14, my daughter and I went downstairs to get coffee. My order ticket was clearly up, and there was no line or apparent rush at the time. I stood waiting for approximately 10 minutes while Selena walked around the area but did not prepare my drink. After waiting that long, I finally asked about my order. I admit I was frustrated by that point and asked where my drink was, explaining that I had already been standing there for 10 minutes. Selena appeared confused about the order, gave me what I felt was a very unfriendly look, and then prepared my drink. I would have considered the matter over at that point. However, the following morning, Selena brought up the previous day's interaction and made a point of telling me that I should not be frustrated or in a hurry. I brushed it off and even laughed because I had no interest in creating an issue. Unfortunately, she brought it up yet again the next day. At that point, I told her directly that I found her behavior rude and inappropriate. We were staying at the Marriott while attending a wedding at Sunset Ranch, and this was otherwise supposed to be an enjoyable trip with my family. I understand that employees can have difficult or busy days, and I certainly don't expect perfection. What I do expect is basic courtesy and professionalism, particularly from someone working directly with hotel guests. What bothered me most was not waiting 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. It was having an employee repeatedly revisit a minor interaction over multiple days and make me feel uncomfortable simply for having asked about an order that had been sitting unfilled. Guests should not be made to feel unwelcome or chastised for politely questioning an unusually long wait, especially when there is no line. I hope Marriott management will address this with Selena, because her interactions with guests did not reflect the level of hospitality and customer service I expect from a Marriott property.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I hope you all get a driver self-nicknamed "Short"…read more We booked a Pearl Harbor tour which included a visit to the Dole pineapple gift shop as well as a drive around the island (with a few stops and drivebys). Our driver nicknamed "Short" was a great driver as well as a native who knew the island and all it's customs, history, and it's little fun facts and quirks. Short is also a life philosopher. I won't spoil it should you get him, but he has a good way of keeping things light hearted but really makes you think about why the world and it's constant feuding is the way it is. The trip started sharply at 8AM (hotel lobby pickup) and after picking up a few passengers at different hotels, we were off. The Pearl Harbor tour and the ride over was excellent. While I knew a lot of what he was narrating, he goes into the back story of why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Much different than what you probably learned in history class. Nothing excuses the Japanese military government for doing what they did and he's not an apologist for them, but he laid out the facts leading up to it. Very informative. The movie at the Pearl Harbor center was well done by the Park Service, but we didn't have much time to look around much after that as we needed to keep to schedule. A few passengers were a full 30 minutes late, but he didn't give them the riot act but instead gently and jokingly chided them a little. It was pretty funny! The Dole pineapple gift shop stop was all about buying stuff, so if you've done it you'll be bored. But for first timers, get the Pineapple Freeze at the back of the store. We stopped by three parks and beaches which included the North Shore, a park whose name I forget, and Hanauma Bay. We highly recommend PPF. Just remember as part of a tour, be courteous and be on time. Write it down, put it in your phone, whatever it takes to keep everyone on the tour on track!
