The food and the Sake, but especially the service were fantastic. We did the fix course with the Sake pairing! A really cool experience.

Its open air style with lush green vegetation is relaxing and true to Hawaiian style. The staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. They made great recommendations. The burger and ahi sandwich were char grilled and fantastic. The beer sampler lets you try a variety of fresh beers. Everything was tasty, fresh and delicious. We loved the merch counter also for nice shirts and gifts. Overall, a must try stop for all Hawaii visitors.

The tour itself is fantastic and educational if you want to learn the actual science and craft behind beer brewing. A major highlight of the experience is discovering that this specific brewery brews exclusively for the islands, keeping production local rather than shipping it out for mainland distribution. It gives the entire visit a truly authentic, exclusive feel. What truly elevated the entire experience from great to unforgettable, though, was our tour guide, Dave. Whether you know him as "Dave the coffee man," "the man," "Dave the heavy pour guy," or "the Costco rotisserie 4.99," he is hands-down the best tour guide ever. His knowledge, energy, and humor made the educational breakdown incredibly engaging and fun. Great beer, fascinating local insights, and world-class guiding. Don't skip this one!

Their standards are good and they also have a barrel program which has some room for improvement, but is coming along. Where else can you find a barleywine in Hawaii. They also make their own ginger beer and their Dark and Stormy was delicious. My favorite beers were the barleywine and the tripel. I tasted 8 total. The tasting room is well appointed. I appreciate a comfy bar stool. The bathroom was nice and clean. They also have food trucks or food daily. This day they had Uncle Bob's smoked ribs, with truffle mac and cheese, and a cornbread muffin. Probably the best ribs I have ever had. They were seasoned so well I didn't even need sauce. Next time you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. They also have a crowler machine for to go.

The table spacing and soundproofing on the walls allowed for a pleasant environment and the beer was great. We tried almost all of them via 2 flights and were very pleased. The poke and pretzels were stupid good and there's a wing guy out back that brings your order in when it's ready. Very clean and functional given the limited size but they had a lounge open upstairs for overflow. The staff was so lovely and very warm, making a little time for each table so it felt more like a social occasion rather than a transactional one. Definitely looking forward to going back!

Perfect lunch stop for those on their way to Waipio Valley or heading out to Waimea or Hilo side. My partner and I shared the Tri-tip sandwich and a quiche. The quiche had a golden flaky crust, peppery bacon, and fluffy eggs. So good we forgot to take a picture. lol. The sandwich was packed with flavorful beef, roasted peppers, arugula, and a spicy horseradish sauce all on poi bread. Pricey at $18, but big enough for two to share. The combination of toppings on the homemade crunchy poi bread makes it worth it! Service was pretty quick, friendly, and helpful. There's so many cool local products to look at while you wait, so that's a nice way to pass the time. There's also outdoor seating and a bookshelf to browse. We definitely want to try more of their delicious sandwiches. Honokaa Country Market will be our go-to sandwich spot on the island!

He was very knowledgeable and provided us with a wealth of fascinating information about the island. After a comfortable van ride, we hiked a beautiful trail that led us to a series of truly stunning, pristine waterfalls. We were treated to a delicious lunch from a local deli, and we loved that it was served in eco-friendly, completely reusable containers. On the way back, we made a perfect final stop at a local macadamia nut store. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we recommend it!

The color of Mauna Kea with the moon shining on it was so magical all around us. There were some clouds that cleared pretty well by the end of our star gazing. We were the last ones up there so it got dark enough to see more than you'd expect with the moon. Jeff, our awesome tour guide, used a laser pointer to help us see the constellations we usually can't back at home. The images on the digital telescope like nebulas, the moon & star clusters were an amazing addition to have as keepsakes. My husband and I felt he made the tour a great balance of learning and fun. He had the group feeling like family before we even left from the pickup lot. Things to consider: I do recommend following the moons cycles booking this tour/your trip if this is especially important for you to see as many stars as possible. The sunset and views of the observatory's make it awesome anyways :) I struggled with altitude sickness around 12,000 ft. Jeff had made sure to let us know beforehand if we experienced any issues to speak up. I was hesitant as I know it would mean turning the whole tour around, but some tingling turned to dizziness and then a brief fainting. He immediately stopped the bus and helped ground me and make sure I was completely okay & coherent before letting me know our options for the tour. We made it up to the top with 2 more (included in tour) stops and I felt better with each one having more time to acclimate :) Thank you Jeff!! You handled this so professionally and I appreciate your check-ins for the rest of the trip. It's cold even with parka and gloves. It's so worth packing warm shoes and layers. The bus had ac and heat so that was great! Do it if you can! Awe-inspiring! Such an unreal environment that makes you wonder about so many things. Just take the precautions seriously, move slow and breathe deep.
