A fun place to have good coffee and chill. A musician comes in during the mid-morning to serenade you with traditional Hawaiian tunes. There are lots of choices of coffee, hot or iced. And tasty pastries and baked goods. We like their waffles, just with butter and syrup. It IS pricey, but it's a tourist town. The drink was just ok and I'm pretty sure we just got normal ice cubes, not the coffee ones that they seem to be famous for. Did I need to have requested that ice specifically? As we were on our 2 hr drive across the island, our car mentioned for us to stop and grab coffee. We didn't regret it. Service was quick and simple. Ordered a late with oat milk. It was on the stronger side. The food was yummy. Croissant was buttery and crunchy. The sandwich was so refreshing and filling. Holy moly, this might be the best chai latte i've ever had! I got it with soy milk and a shot of espresso and wow, "obsessed" is an understatement! The baristas were all super nice and helpful, answered our questions and ensured a gluten allergy was noted for my food. So there definitely was no issue with service. They seemed to be doing their best. Unfortunately the food and coffee were just not great, and it was pretty dang expensive. I got the avocado toast made gluten free and it was also dairy free. The bread definitely needed to be toasted longer but was dry as sawdust either way. The toast itself was lacking in flavor, albeit it was very fresh and nicely made. Some salt or seasoning would help a lot. My husband got a ham and cheese bagel which did not come with egg as he had assumed and it was not substantial at all. The value was not great given what we got and what we had paid. I got a vanilla latte with mac nut milk and it was super watery and bitter. I didn't drink it. On the other hand, my husband got the cold brew and had no complaints about it. So maybe part of it is about what you order, but overall we were not satisfied and kind of felt like we wasted a decent sum of money. read more

Their cold brew was just so decadent and smooth not sweet, I had their salted one and the vanilla. Can't remember the exact names anymore. I also took the salted one to go. Their orange blossom muffin was the perfect snack on my plane ride back; definitely on the richer side but when you're hungry and not having a full meal I thought was perfect. Great pick me up and all those bits of orange rind in them just adds to the flavor! People were so friendly and attentive; took their time to help with and answer any questions. One of the baristas there was one of the rudest people I've ever met. My pregnant wife commented causally at the cost of the Americano ($9 before tax) and the barista commented "you should really do your research before coming here... this is a resort area... and Hawaii." Totally took her and I by surprise. So uncalled for, which my wife bit her tongue and felt like leaving - putting her in a bad mood... I looked over at the "good vibes" neon sign hanging on the wall. Irony is thick in this coffee shop. I ate the crappy, small $19 croissant breakfast sandwich and my wife and our 1-year-old son left. I asked for the manager to discuss the issue, and she is unreachable. Only available on site Monday and Wednesday and this was Thursday. "You could email the manager..." which I did. No reply, no apology. No wonder the employees here talk like this, no management. Very poor service. Won't come back. If the barista that said these demeaning things is reading: find another service job, all you had to say was "yeah, I know, these are our prices though (with a smile)." What a joke!
