I just want to say thank you to the entire iSmile NoHo team! My mom, Carmen Lemus, was very nervous before visiting iSmile NoHo. After reading the reviews, we decided to go with this dental office. My mom had been dealing with major pain in her molars and teeth, but she was hesitant to visit the dentist. For one, she doesn't speak much English and two, she was scared of the pain. She ended up making an appointment for both her and my dad, and off they went. When I came home, my parents were over the moon. My mom said that the service was excellent! The doctor and staff were very friendly, patient, and courteous. Even with the language barrier, everyone made them feel right at home. This place had me wait for 45 mins and I still didn't see the dentist. I hate dental offices that try to do minimal work and charge your insurance and this place tried to do that so I walked out. Whenever I've got cleanings my previous dentists always gave me thorough deep cleans as that's the point otherwise why bother going at all and here they tried to get away with a basic cleaning that they said was going to take only 5 minutes. They said the dentist will look at your teeth and if she decides you need a deep cleaning then you'll get one otherwise it's just basic cleaning and was like no, even though my teeth are in great shape my other dentists still gave me a deep cleaning, not just brush fluoride on there and send me on my way. I was so angry because why bother coming in at all and why waste my cleaning allowance for them just to barely do anything but bill your insurance for the same amount. read more

Wow wow wow! I have never encountered such a sweet and amazing dentist. Right away we felt welcomed. The staff is super sweet as well. They took x-rays of my daughters teeth and boy oh boy it was bad. The Dr. came in and we discussed all the issues. She gave me some time to decide what to do. My daughter felt so comfortable and was like I will do it all momma. So my daughter is getting all her dental work done in 1 visit. They have a small TV for her to watch her video on. Dr.Michelle is really amazing. Long story short, my back molar broke during the middle of the Corona virus. My parents have been coming here for a few years now and called them on my behalf. Within 24 hours they had me seen even though they were closed to the public. Dr.Michelle reviewed my xrays from home. Her office assistant gave me referrals to places I needed to go for advanced treatment that my insurance covers. They had everything ready based on insurances which made my life easier. I had to come back two weeks later for all my fillings and a few cavities. I'm a complete wimp with pain. Her assistant let me hold her hand during the shots and they both talked me through everything. I feel more bad for them because of me freaking out as a grown adult. They didn't make me feel bad at all for my fears. Eventually through the process I calmed down. They communicated the entire process as it happened. I didn't feel any pain and when I did feel discomfort they helped me work around it since I was really nervous. I'm not a fan of the dentist at all but I can assure you, this is the dentist I will now be seeing. I feel very comfortable around Dr.Michelle and her really amazing assistants.
