started going here about couple years ago and I feel it's about time to do a review now. once entering the office you are greeted by the staff which is really nice and welcoming. then office is really well decorated and extremely clean. Dr. Nina is very knowledgeable as well as her staff. they treat you as family which is a big win for me. me personally I didn't think flossing was a big deal at all. but jeez was I wrong. have you ever flosz and gunk comes out? have you ever looked or I mean examine it? and lastly have you ever smelled your floss afterwards? I rarely floss but when I did I really only did it because food was stucked in my teeth and couldn't get it out. but when I started smelling the floss jeez it was disgusting. terrible. that's when I started to think about what Dr. Nina told me.. thats the bad stuff that destroy your teeth and I would have never known that if Dr nina never told me.. If there was less than one star that's what I would rate Dr. O. He was rude and condescending, he even tapped my shoulder and said he would not honor his yelp offer, that normally he would have charged $350 to remove the retainer that his dental assistant removed in less than 2 minutes literally. He said it was to be used ONLY against a whole orthodontist treatment. I came in to get an evaluation and a quote for braces and asked for the top retainer to be removed. Legally he is binded to honor any offer that is published. I will make sure to let the better business bureau of his click bait technique, if he hadn't been so rude and tapped me on the shoulder towering over me I would not have bothered to write a review. Disclaimer: This review is just of the customer service experience I've experienced thus far. This references nothing about their orthodontic work. I am a 3-time orthodontic patient. My first orthodontist was horrendously bad. My second one seemed fine at the time, but come to find out he never fixed my bite issues. So safe to say, I am wary about orthodontists. Here are some issues I had with today's consultation: 1. Staff kept calling me "hun", "babe", and "buddy". As an adult, I found that quite demeaning. I'm not 5-years old and don't wanted to be treated as such even though most of the clientele are in that age range. 2. There is a fine line between genuine, welcoming hospitality and false representation. My friend kept being asked every 2 minutes if he wanted water. I was told that they "rolled out the red carpet just for me". Then I was told about the things I can do "when I become a patient." During the initial consult, the assistant asked me about my hobbies, instead of asking me why I was there. If I'm going to shell out my hard earned cash on a third orthodontist, I want to be damn sure that people to fix my problems and not what I like to do on my spare time. I know that they were trying to be hospitable, but the impression they gave off wasn't such. 3. The worst part. I had to have spacers put in, which ended up being a painful experience because my teeth had been impacted by my wisdom teeth. Shortly after, I asked for some Tylenol or ibuprofen, because I was in pain, which I was refused. Then, I was told that I would need my spacers removed and the replaced because the doctor decided he wanted to do a different procedure... So the started removing my spacers... Then, after starting to remove my spacers, they decided -- WAIT NEVERMIND -- put them back in because we didn't need to take them out in the first place. Thankfully it wasn't a tooth or an eyeball and just a (painful) rubber band. The Doctor called me after to apologize and told me that it was a new girl who had performed the procedure --- Oh, so a new hire was told to handle me without no supervision? Then he said, no it was new equipment --- Oh wait, so the staff wasn't trained as to how to use the new equipment, and so I had to experience extra pain through the process? Then he said he wanted to save my time from my next appointment -- fine, but they probably should have discussed that before putting me in such pain. Instead of offering to fix the problem somehow, the doctor just said he would take the blame for his teams fault. No mention of follow-up training the staff, no mentions of goodwill discounts, just awkward silence. I guess that's what happens when your practice gets too big to handle. 4. Finally on my way out, I got my payment schedule that was higher than the price she verbally quoted me. Update: Notice the language of the reply message. No accountability at all. Apparently everything I experienced was in my head. read more

Dr. Ammar has been amazing in helping me out with getting invisalign retainers. Dr. Ammar and his staff made it extremely easy and smooth from the time I walked in to when I left. I didn't have to wait longer than a few minutes and the process started right after. I got my impressions done today and by next week, I'll have my retainers. It had been a long time coming for me to get orthodontic treatment for my crossbite, and when I finally got around to it, I wanted to make sure I found a place that would make the process the most comfortable for me and my small budget. I found iSmiles and Dr. Brandon on Yelp, and was on the fence between Invisalign and traditional braces. They gave me the option of Invisalign and clear Damon braces. I decided to go with clear Damon's on the top, and traditional on the bottoms due to the shorter treatment time, higher effectiveness and lower cost compared to Invisalign. When I found out that my insurance didn't cover me at my age, I was worried since I am just starting out in the working world, I have a restricted budget. Anita and Dr. Brandon were very understanding and helped me figure out an affordable way for me to pay for my treatment. They also offered a discount for finding them on Yelp! They started with the top braces for the first month, allowing me to get adjusted to the feeling, something that I had never heard of before, but it was extremely helpful. A month later, they added the bottoms, and Dr. Brandon threw in the clear Damon's for the bottoms for no extra charge! That was an amazing surprise for me, and made me excited to get through my treatment. They also offer a small discount for paying for the treatment up front. Every time I come for an appointment I get a different person and no one seems to know what's going on with my process, they never return my call when I have questions. This place is very unprofessional. I definitely would not recommend those who are thinking to have their treatment here. Every time I come here, there are always new staffs working. They never know what to do nor know what is going on within your treatment CAUSE LITERALLY THERE ARE ALWAYS NEW PEOPLE WORKING. From what I heard, they are staffs who also work at their Arizona location ....? I'm assuming they travel among their location to work. The staff is nice to you until you have a complaint, then the professionalism dies quick... I wanted to get my retainer (that I purchased from them) adjusted and they tricked me into setting up a consultation and charged me $200 or something around there for having the doctor talk to me for 5 minutes and take pictures of my teeth... More expensive than my prom pictures.... The 5 minutes that we spent talking was to try and get me to also purchase a lower retainer that I all off a sudden needed. Why was this not the case the last 2 years I was under your care? I explained to them that the minor crookedness of my bottom teeth had always been there and I was not bothered by their aesthetic appearance. The woman who I think might be Dr Brandon's wife insulted me with the awkward silence that followed what I had said. Could have just said okay no problem, not try to make me feel self-conscious about my lower teeth in an attempt to up-sell me. So I get adjustment to the retainer and the 200$ surprise bill. I didn't argue too hard over it, kind of just took the loss... Had to come back within the next week because the adjustment was off, then they tried to charge me for the readjustment... I was not having that, and they ended up not charging me the $44. It was not a friendly visit. I felt like one of the male assistant's wanted to fight me lol... He was dogging me hard and said "what's goin on bro?" when I approached the chair. What kind of a doctors office has employee's that call you "bro" and not in a friendly way either. Felt like I was at a bar in Santa Anna. The original owner of this place was an honest man, a good orthodontist, then he sold the place to Dr. Brandon and his business minded staff and everything changed. The old place didn't need to entice kids with Ipad's and arcade games in the waiting room.They were professionals... this new crew on the other hand are a bunch of money hungry crooks. read more
