    Frameless shower door
    Saya W.

We were in need of a frameless shower door for a weird shaped entrance opening into the toilet. Daniel responded quickly to our inquiry and talked us through several options based on our pictures and made an appointment to check out the space. He gave us a rough quote on the spot, making our decision making process easier. Daniel was communicative through the entire ordering and installation process and completed the job on the day we requested. We also really appreciated Daniel's genuine and honest personality. It's been five months since and we love our shower door! Daniel's advice and work was what we needed. Very pleased.

I just have my frameless shower door installed by Daniel, who is the owner of Issacs Glass. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the work. Daniel is very responsive and he was able to work with me to achieve my vision. I highly recommend using this company for your glass shower doors!

Ok so let me start out by saying contractors during COVID are very busy and often times many are aloof and non responsive. I got about 10 quotes for my frameless shower glasswork and Isaac's Glass was by far the most responsive. Some businesses had 2-3 weeks before they could come out and measure and then another 3 to install! Who wants to wait over a month to get you last time in your bathroom finished up?! Daniel (the owner) was able to visit on a 1-2 day notice. His price was the best when you factor in he included the enduroshield and I asked for 1/2 inch glass and upgraded hardware. Also used the sapphire glass which has very little green hue in it. After Daniel measured out my shower when out marble was done he had a door and customs panels fabricated and instead in 5-6 days! So to recap: Good - check Fast - check Cheap ( I mean inexpensive) check Add to this he has 20 plus years experience and is a good family man and you need not look any further for your glass, mirrors, windows and even doors. No job is too big or small. I have included a few pics (lighting not great). Thanks to Daniel and his guys for doing a clean and honest job.

Daniel is fantastic. A friend of my daughter's broke a glass pane on my guardrail which was about 0.5" thick, 5 x 4', and low iron glass. I called around and got several quotes. Isaacs was half the cost of the other highly rated yelp reviewed glass company! That other company gave me a $2600 proposal which was totally crazy! At that price, I would have left it broken! So I went with Isaacs. Daniel came out and measured the opening. He ordered the glass and came back a week later to install. Unfortunately, the glass did not fit. A lot of companies would have asked for more money but Daniel said that he would re-order the new glass and offer the same price. Even though it meant throwing away a perfectly good piece of glass that cost $800 alone. It just meant that he would have no profit on this deal at all. I felt bad and tipped $200 because he was legitimately an honest guy and worked extremely hard on the project. Thank you Isaacs for repairing my guardrail!

If you are looking for an honest, efficient and skilled glass installer, call Daniel at Issacs Glass. We were debating whether to do a complete shower enclosure or just one side panel on the pony wall with the shower rod. After discussing with Daniel, he gave us the pros and cons for both with our needs we decided to go with panel and rod. They did a fantastic job, matched the hardware with rest of the bathroom (Daniel was more passionate about it than we were :)) and we love the final product. Compared various quotes and theirs was most reasonable. Look no further, I highly recommend! Thanks Daniel and Team!

Daniel and his crew from Isaac's Glass Company did a beautiful job in installing our shower door. We were so impressed that we asked him to replace our bathroom window, re-screened all our screens throughout the house, and replaced the glass to our kitchen bay window. I would highly recommend any consultation and installation from Daniel.

While there weren't too many reviews on Yelp for Issac's, they seemed genuine so I decided to call for an estimate. There was no answer, but I did get a call back from Daniel within an hour and he came over to measure later that afternoon. After I described what I wanted, Daniel gave me options and then took measurements. I had a bid the next day which I accepted. I had looked around with other companies and the price he quoted was very reasonable. I also wanted to support a local family owned business. The installation was coordinated around my work schedule and the work was fast and impeccable. Daniel and his team are very careful, detail oriented and they clean up before leaving. I am extremely satisfied with the work they did and would highly recommend Issac's Glass. And, I agree with the other reviews that Daniel really is a nice guy. Photos of a guest bath and master shower attached. I had two guest bath panels and one master shower done. Low iron, 1/2" glass with Enduro shield.

So I got one quote for a shower door and thought I should check around before committing... I'm so glad I did and found Isaac's glass! I called and spoke with Daniel and he just happened to be in the area and came by right away for a quote... Him and his crew were professional, courteous, and most importantly knew what they were talking about... After we agreed on a price, he ordered everything up and installed fairly quickly... I would say if you're looking for a glass shower door, look no further... This is the spot.

The door was hard to slide, didn't seal properly, and clearly needed more than a quick repair. From the first visit, the team was straightforward and honest about what could be fixed versus what made more sense to replace. No pressure, no upsells. Scheduling was easy, they showed up on time, they worked clean and efficiently. The install itself went smoothly, and the difference was immediate. The new sliding door glides effortlessly, seals tight, and feels solid. No rattling, sticking, or gaps. Communication was great the whole time: they explained the issue clearly, walked through the replacement options, and followed through exactly as promised. If you're dealing with a sliding door that's past its prime and want it handled right the first time, this is a company you can trust.

Summary: This company does truly care about customer satisfaction. As David and Tom told me after…read morethings went awry: "We don't always get it perfect, but when we don't we try hard to make it right." I reached out to start the quote process a little before Thanksgiving and was quickly responded to. I scheduled a Zoom-based overview of the materials and services offered with David, as well as provided some information about my property and the windows that I thought I'd need to have replaced. The next step involved David visiting my home to measure each of the windows and assess their surroundings when putting together an estimate. He even brought a floor model window for me to test the ease of sliding it open and closed (it was very easy). Next, he provided me a quote for the six windows we had identified replacing, which included a Black Friday discount. The total was around $5k for materials and labor. I ended up swapping one window for another and he quickly updated the estimate for me. No pressure or need for down payment. After consulting with my wife, we agreed to move forward and the next step was for a technician to come and measure the windows to a quarter inch so that the dimensions would be sent off to the SoCal manufacturer and the windows constructed over the next 2-4 weeks. The technician also assessed the surrounding area of each window and told me what would need to be cleared to make space for the installation. Soon we got a call that the windows were built and ready to install. We were scheduled for first thing on Saturday, Dec 27, and were told that it would take most of the day but all of the work would be completed in the one day. On Saturday morning, Frank the installer arrived with another installer and got to work. We had moved lots of items away from the windows as needed, and throughout the day we saw the technicians as they would traverse the stairs and through the front door with materials, occasionally saying "hi" and just checking on how things were going. Later in the afternoon, Frank called me up for a walkthrough and then informed me he had two major problems: 1. All six windows measured were such that they required spacers around them to fill gaps that were visible on the inside. For some reason, they were not ordered initially. 2. Only five of the windows had been sealed from the outside because one window had a tree encroaching on it and they couldn't get a ladder up to seal it. Neither of the two visits had noted that. Tom was called and apprised of the situation at the end of the walkthrough, and with a new storm a few days away and one window not sealed, I went into panic mode. I emailed a full recounting of the situation to David, and began hunting for a tree trimmer to come ASAP so that the window could at least be sealed or the old window reinstalled before the rains. The next day, Tom called me and told me they were ordering the spacers and would have them by Monday, and that Frank could come and trim the tree so that I wouldn't have to pay for a separate trimmer. We ended up scheduling for Tuesday, and Frank showed up solo to finish the job. He trimmed the tree and disposed of the materials, added the spacers and sealed everything remaining. When all was said and done, we were happy with the windows and the way the company worked to make it right (and on a tight schedule). We did have to keep everything in its temporary locations for another few days, and we did have to get vocal about our frustrations, but Smart Window Company finished the job and called to check in on us after to make sure everything was good. The next storm hit and we haven't had any issues yet. The product is solid, and the company cares where it matters.

I love the look of the windows, however I think I would just get a different brand in the future to save money, unless it was a very specific application. The pros vs cons for us are : Pros: --They have a window grid option to match the look of the grids on original wood windows. --The screens are the finest mesh that I've seen (therefore the easiest to see out of). --They did an aluminum wrap on the exterior wood window sills, which is great for durability. --Great customer service. --Great communication. --Great installation crew. Cons: --Defective grids. In our case, the grids on the windows were improperly mounted to ALL 3 windows, meaning that they either weren't straight, were misaligned, and/or had large gaps in the seams. They are now going to replace ALL 3 windows to fix this problem. --Windows (and sliding doors) feel "heavy" and therefore are harder to open/close than other brands. --Annoying sales tactics. Salespeople always attempt to make you feel like you're getting a discount/deal, but ultimately, they charge about 3X more than other brands/vendors. Example: 3 windows from them were about $15K, but 3 (larger) windows (Milgard brand) from another vendor were about $5K. (Both brands of windows have similar u-factor, solar heat gain coefficient, and visible transmittance numbers.) --They required 2 additional appointments, as compared to other vendors. One is to test for lead in the paint (due to age of our house), the other one is to have an inspector come by after the job. Inconvenient. --The inspector might go into other rooms of your house (that did not have any work performed), to check that your smoke alarms are up to code. --The nice aluminum wrap on our exterior window sills has a weird bend in one seam, and it doesn't match the other side, but it only matters if you care how it looks when standing up close.

I had a very frustrating experience with Renewal by Andersen. The representative came out to my…read morehouse and instead of giving me a straightforward quote, he spent a long time talking about the company, their history, and their products. The entire visit felt like a long sales presentation rather than someone actually trying to help with my window project. To make matters worse, he never even gave me a real quote. It was more like him saying the project would probably be around $60,000 for 15 windows and 2 sliders. There was no real breakdown or formal estimate, just a number thrown out there after all the talking. I had already received other quotes around $20,000 for similar work. When I mentioned that, the sales rep said that if someone is quoting $20,000 it must be cheap products that will not last more than six years. That sounded more like a scare tactic than an honest explanation. The most annoying part was at the end. I told him that it seemed like he did not even want to measure anything around my house and that it was fine if he just left. Instead of addressing that, he actually had the audacity to tell me that a survey would be coming and asked me to give him a 10 star review. After sitting through a long sales pitch, not even receiving a real quote, and then being asked for a perfect review, the whole experience felt like a complete waste of time. I simply wanted someone to come out, measure the windows, and give me a fair and honest price.
