Yet despite such a low bar for beating the competition, Peoples Storage still goes above and beyond to provide great security, facilities, and customer service. Accessing the unit is easy, the bay is huge, the elevators are large, and I've never had to wait on someone else to access my unit. They have a bunch of dollies on site and their shop is very fairly priced if you need a lock, boxes or packing material. The building is gated making it even more secure. I highly recommend this place especially if your items are valuable or would benefit from temperate control.

The other day I had to pull half of my things out in order to access the item I was looking for and it took a good couple of hours and one of the office dudes comes wheeling along in that goofy golf cart to scold me about having my stuff in the hallway. What am I supposed to do with it? My rent is paid and I'm there working away and I am hassled why? The top building is always dirty, the lowest building attached to the office smells like an ashtray, I am talking the whole building b/c the office dudes sit in the first drive up unit and smoke and it's pretty likely anyone storing anything in that building is going to discover the stuff they stored smells like they are smokers. The guy with a unit right across from mine told me (as he was moving out) he found a bunch of rodent droppings all over his stuff inside his unit. My advice is take your business somewhere else this place will make you feel like you matter very little and you can get treated like that anywhere. I'm moving out as soon as I find a new storage place. Here is an update: since posting my review here, Sherlock Storage sent me an eviction e-mail stating that I violated the lease agreement and they cancelled my gate access and I can only get into my unit escorted by someone from the office during their office hours. Typical prices that keep creeping up as time passes and the shared airflow of neighbors which can't be helped. Many times, I entered wondering what a certain smell was but, people will store what they want to store and we can't help that. I try to keep all my stuff bagged and covered because of that shared airspace. I found one of my wood pieces damaged by the door earlier after the move as if someone opened and closed the door on it without looking down. I have the only key on my side and am very meticulous so I know it was not me. I like the climate controls and the cleanliness overall on the facility. I think it's worth the extra money to keep things here rather than the standard storage options out there. Just make sure your stuff is properly stored and away from the door area.
