So my experience is only renting trucks, not storage. I got a truck rental online the night before because from past experience I know budget per mile rates are way cheaper than uhaul. They called that morning to confirm when I'd come get the truck, informed me of their hours (my pick up time was close to closing), and told me when to avoid to not have to wait long. I went to get the truck and had no paperwork hassles, they didn't even push the optional insurance because my car insurance (State Farm) covers it. I was quickly on my way with my truck. So far I was very happy with their service. The truck itself was in good condition for the mileage and worked fine. So I return it, check my credit card a few days later and my bill was high and no receipt ever sent. I called them and they over billed my mileage (good thing I had an odometer pic). They claimed the form was hard to read (it was) and I saw a refund a few days later. Still I'm suspicious given the number of reviews claiming they were over billed. And still I'd probably use them again because they're all bad! Just remember to take photos of the fuel receipt, odometer, and vehicle condition to protect yourself - I do this every time I rent a car or truck. read more

After the nightmare of discovering all of the things that Two Men and a Truck left behind at my place ( review before this one ) I had quite a challenge on my hands. I literally went through my personal phone book offering a small job of moving things with me to my new place. I found a friend who I paid fifty dollars and he was awesome! Anyway, I assumed for some reason that U Haul would be the least expensive. I am not sure why, but since my budget was WAY over do Two Men and Truck price increase, I wanted to keep the cost as low as possible. I called U Haul and was really surprised they were as high as they were. One thing I did not like was, the person I spoke with seemed to be pretty pushy for a charge card to hold the rental. I declined, and tried this place since it was close to Snoqualmie. I spoke with Aaron and this company was way less expensive. He told me the standard requirements, deposit, valid drivers license, make sure to refill the gas tank upon return, where to leave the truck and the key, etc. Once I arrived to pick up the truck, Aaron was still there. He was professional and courteous. He went over the procedures and proper paperwork. The whole procedure for pick up and drop off was smooth and hassle free. Very reasonable prices as well. I am sure Yelp isn't suppressing negative reviews on purpose. /sarcasm I've had to cancel two reservations because Budget Truck Rental overbooks like crazy. I cannot say enough good things about Issaquah Truck Rental. We rent trucks almost weekly, and we are thrilled with the way they have gone out of their way to take care of us over the years. We discovered them by accident when our previous rental source closed down, but it turned out to be the best thing for us! Affordable prices, excellent service and friendly staff. BIG PIECE OF ADVICE...do NOT book your truck through Budget if you wish to reserve a truck from them. Call them directly to make your reservation. As has been pointed out in some of the other reviews, Budget has a tendency to cancel because they have overbooked registrations, leaving the franchise owner holding the empty bag. If you wish to reserve a truck, call ITR and reserve one of THEIR trucks. They own quite a few themselves and they have TOTAL CONTROL of those vehicles and their rental schedule. I promise you won't be disappointed if you go that route. read more

Terrible Terrible Terrible facility and service. We lost $1000's in items after the unit was leaking in water and they refused to fix it, claiming it was something we had stored. After taking everything out they realized it was in fact the unit walls leaking and told me they don't replace items. This took weeks and weeks to address and the owners never reached out. We had to deal with incompetent staff. Do not waste your time, this place is completely run down and a disaster. read more

We reserved a truck over two weeks ago and one of the employees (AARON SHWARTZ) just called and said that they were not able to provide us with the truck size we requested, reserved and put a deposit on. Not only did he attempt to change our reservation but he refused to supply me with a phone number of a live person that could assist with the issue that he had created. He was incredibly unhelpful and then decided that hanging up on me would be the best thing to do. If this place had a BBB rating it would definitely be an F- Be aware of this company. By far the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. To start, this place cancelled my reservation for a truck I had reserved for over a month and only notified me 2 days in advance to my scheduled reservation. Obviously that left me in a frantic state to say the least. There was zero accommodation and not a care in the world for my situation all because of their bone headed mistake. Instead of running in circles over the phone wondering why they cancelled my reservation I decided to move on to the logical next step - have them find me another truck. While trying to figure out where I was going to get another truck from, Aaron Schwartz resisted to give me a direct number to a supervisor, manager, or anyone at Budget to help me out and eventually just rudely hung up on me. We've rented from these guys a few times. Worst service ever! They would not issue a refund even if we didn't use the unit and we just rented a couple of days ago. They were rude and inconsiderate, overly priced, and their units are not even well maintained. There are dirt roads around the units, and shitty roofing with leaks, and my stuff was ruined after a month. These guys will rip you off! Stay away! read more

I've been renting here for a couple of years and they just had a break in on their units on the south end. Their video camera's did a very poor job of identfying the criminal and the fence is obviously outdated because the criminal was able to jump the fence and use bolt cutters to remove locks. I got items stolen from my unit. i saw the footage and to my dismay the camera lenses are so smudged and dirty that you can barely even see the person stealing from the units. I ask why and when they are going to clean their security camera lenses and again to my dismay the front desk clerk replied "we've only had one guy on duty for awhile so we haven't been able to clean the cameras". WTF??? For $120 / month for a 10x10 storage unit you'd think they'd have a better customer service response. Obviously, they could care less about the quality of their security system and whether it's functioning well enough to be able to even identify break ins. What a joke. This place takes your money and gives a false sense of security. Looks like it's time to remove my property since this storage facility is not secure anymore. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. TOTAL crooks and liars. I just moved here and needed to rent a truck...I chose Issaq Mini Storage to rent a 12 foot truck to transport some belongings into storage unit as their price per day and charge per mile was reasonable and less than other bigger companies such as U-Haul or Budget....upon renting the vehicle I was informed that the truck needed to be retuned with the fuel gauge on full otherwise a service fee of $15.00 plus gas would be charged back to me. I fueled up the truck as my service contract stated and the gauge read WELL ABOVE the full line. HOWEVER despite doing this (took pictures of the mileage and fuel indicator) I was charged the $15.00 service fee plus gas. Upon inquiry as to why I was charged wrongfully, I was told that when I took possession the fuel gauge was above F and that I failed replace enough gas. As my picture proves, I did replace all of the fuel and then some, but despite this, the manager refused to provide me with a refund. The wrongful charge doubled my bill, in fact exceeded the cost of the daily truck rental. BEWARE, DO NOT RENT A TRUCK FROM ISSAQUAH MINI STORAGE. And BTW their storage rental fees are well above their competitors in the area-shop around. So much for supporting local business; not a very kind welcome to the area. read more

I moved out of my unit in mid April. I was not charged for May. My unit was rented to someone else. Yet they resumed charging me rent in June. They told me that my unit was already rented out to a new tenant but that they somehow didn't know I was out of the unit. How can you rent out my unit with me in it? The guy was a jerk about it on the phone and refused to refund my money so I had to report the fraud to my bank. read more

The truck was available when I needed it, and the staff was very courteous. The truck was fairly new, it had around 50,000 miles on it. It smelled a little funky but what rental truck doesn't? The 10' Budget truck had its shares of dents and dings but it was in great shape mechanically, something I can't say when I rent U-Haul's equipment. The only bone I pick with them are the insurance options. Unlike rental cars, you really have to get their insurance because credit cards and personal auto insurance policies will typically not cover rental trucks. Given how much stuff you're moving into and out of these, the risk of a scratch or dent is high. Budget never said how much this cost on their website, but this location's website said it was $10. That wasn't what I was charged - it cost me $26.95. That's $12 higher than U-Haul's insurance and $17 higher than what their website advertises. Other than getting dinged on insurance, I was fairly happy with the experience and I'd rent with them again. read more

Worst service ever! We filled up our truck and the next morning get a $50 "re-fuel" fee because in their mind it wasn't full. They claimed it cost around $15 to refuel and instead of working with me and lowering the fee or having me pay for the gas + lowered fee they would just hang up the phone. I have rented moving trucks from them 3 times. I have never had an issue. On Friday we asked if it was possible to pick up the truck instead of on Saturday as planned. I found the woman in the office to be so helpful. I had a wonderful experience and her flexibility sure made my life easier. I'm sorry I can't remember your name but you know who you are. We came up from Portland to transport a piece of furniture from Carnation to Portland, and Aaron rented us a Budget truck. When it turned out that the piece of furniture could not be transported and we came back an hour later, Aaron was extremely helpful in canceling the Portland return and worked hard to get 2/3 of our truck rental refunded. I couldn't ask for more in terms of customer service. read more

They'll charge you much more than the quote they give you. They quoted me at 70 to 80 dollars for 40-50 miles of use. I put 55 miles on it and it ended up being $130. Filled up the truck before bringing it back and they still charged me a fee ($15) for not filling it up because it was short 2 gallons. And they didn't comp the fee after I explained that to them.
