Patriot Moving Systems caught my attention so I called them to get more information. I talked with Dennis to get answers to my questions. He told me they are full service, meaning they will pack as well as move your household contents. You also have the option to do your own packing. One place I called pretty much only loads and moves your stuff so you have to do your own packing. Patriot sells boxes and packing materials but also suggested Home Depot or Lowe's but said he actually prefers and recommends getting these from U-Haul as he thinks theirs are better quality and sturdier. What I like is the way Dennis explained our options without overly promoting materials through Patriot. He also explained the rates for their services. Basically it is an hourly rate per person plus a trip charge and cost of the truck usage. He came out and walked through or house and then was able to give us a rough estimate of the number of hours we would likely need. We planned to use a staging company so we needed to pack some things to thin out certain areas like closets and kitchen countertops. So we arranged for Patriot to send out three people to box and move things into the garage for three hours and that was a big help. They were focused and hard working guys who went practically non-stop for the time scheduled. Whenever there was a question about packing certain items they asked about it. I could tell that they all knew what they were doing, their experience showed and they treated our things as if they were theirs. Delicate items were wrapped well for protection. Our move is currently on hold as we continue to pursue selling our home but Dennis checks in with me periodically to see how things are going. I will update this review once we actually complete our move but we know who we trust with packing and moving our property.

Being a single woman moving, I…read morecan say that the quick quote response via email made scheduling and estimating costs, from Paige and Courtney in the Fraser office, so simple and accurate. I've never moved on my own and the ladies were extremely patient and helpful. I wasn't sure of the exact day of my move and they were amazing at working with me to look at options and sent me detailed estimates for both a weekend move and a weekday move. My two movers showed up right on time, Dave and Zach. They were AWESOME. I was nervous knowing that complete strangers would be handling all of my personal belongings, but they were so friendly and answered all of my "first time moving" questions. They started the official start move time AFTER they looked at everything and planned how they would take it all down to the moving truck. I was moving from a second floor condo to another second floor condo; that was no problem for Dave and Zach. They took great care taking apart all of my bedroom furniture and wrapped everything to ensure nothing would be damaged. They managed to lower all of my patio furniture from my second floor balcony with ease. Some of the single lights and things that were too big for a box but too small to list as move items for the estimate, they took as well. These were items I was planning on coming back for and moving myself. Because they took EVERYTHING in the moving truck, I had very little to put in my Jeep. They even made sure to take great care of the signed Zetterberg jersey, packing it last. :) When they got to the new second floor condo, they were great at asking me where everything was to go. They did not randomly place things or just start stacking boxes everywhere. They even took the time to put felt pads on my big furniture items to protect the new wood flooring I had installed! I would give Dave and Zach 10 stars if I could. They never stopped, took zero breaks, and made the most out of every minute, keeping my cost down significantly. As soon as they were done unloading the last item in the moving truck, they announced the time so that we could note it and not pay for any time that wasn't directly involving moving. I paid for two movers who worked so productively and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I do not know these two young men, nor do I have any affiliation with this company at all. I would suggest and highly recommend the Fraser Two Men and a Truck company, especially Dave and Zach, for anyone who is looking for a moving company. I rarely take time to write out reviews, but this move wouldn't have been manageable without the service of Two Men and a Truck and I want everyone to know how awesome my experience with them was.

Huge disconnect between main office and employees which turned out to be a major problem. The owner could not have cared less about the team not being prepared, the lack of experience of employees and the subsequent damage of many of my pieces and interior walls of new house. Some how this is our fault because as we were told, they didn't want to do the job. Theybooker said they would take proper precautions but they did not. They claimed this was due to us not being ready...however we had boxes packed and ready in the garage and the furniture was definitely there so I don't know what else we are to do with it. I've moved many times and never had an experience like this. They took zero accountability even though I contacted the office several times throughout the day. The owner came to collect money but sat there and let his lead take the heat for everything. I have no respect for people like that. I've had better experiences getting random people off craigslist during my college years. If you own nice things and want it done right look elsewhere. I honestly would have paid much more to have it done right but even with an extra person this still took double the time quoted with damage.

Our move from St. Louis to Ypsilanti, MI in August 2025 was a mixed bag. Hard to say if I would…read morerecommend them. We did 90% of the packing ourselves. The positives include: 1. A thorough review of the contents to be moved versus the cursory review by competitors. 2.A competitive price. 3.Our things were moved in dedicated trucks and not mixed in with other people's stuff. 4. Honestly about damages: a table literally fell apart during packing and the crew pointed it out to me rather than concealing it. 5. No high pressure sales tactics. 6. The guys were patient with my wife repositioning furniture at the destination. 7. Nothing was broken although we had quite a few minor dings in furniture. 8. Crews showed up on time at both ends of the trip. Negatives include: 1.No formal acknowledgement of payment. They were almost offensively anxious to get the final payment even though the third and final truck had not arrived. 2. Loss of focus at the end of the day: We did a walkthrough at the end of the loading process. Every time we found something that needed to go into the truck, the guy leading the walkthrough took it out, chatted with the guys on the truck, and then we would lose our place. This resulted in a few things being left behind. At delivery, the guys took down a door to get furniture into the basement but never put it up again. They also left a moving blanket and personal items belonging to one of the guys. The items were eventually restored to their owner. 3. Not mentioning messes or problems. After the truck left I found that one of our toilets was plugged with toilet paper, paper towels, and human waste from someone that was apparently ill. Fortunately, I found the problem and was able to unplug the toilet and clean things up so this mess was not left for our cleaning crew. I think I would have responded calmly to this if I had been told about it. I can appreciate that it would have been embarrassing to report this to me. I'm human too.

It was going into our dining room, and they were saving it for last. As I was moving a couple of rugs and clearing a spot in the dining room, I heard the truck pulling away. I went outside, and they had unwrapped the sideboard and just left it in the garage. They didn't tell me they were leaving, they didn't have me check anything, and they didn't have me sign off that the job was complete. They just decided that they were done and left the sideboard in the garage. I texted the company, and they said that they could come out the following week to move the sideboard into the house. They said any day that works for me was fine. So, I let them know the best day for us. Of course, they did not show up, and they have not responded to me since.
