I've had this exact service done at multiple salons in Orlando for $50-$60! For the price I paid at Nails by Mercedes for just a fill, I could have gotten a fill along with a pedicure anywhere else. I immediately expressed my surprise to the gentleman at the checkout desk, but he seemed completely uninterested and unbothered. Had pricing been communicated upfront, I would have declined the service and gone elsewhere. The lack of transparency is what made my experience especially frustrating. While the work itself was fine, it simply was not worth the extreme markup they are charging. Miley charged me for a crappy regular manicure after said removal that I would have been too embarrassed to show to anyone. I tended to my own nails with olive oil and lots of moisturizers. I decided to use Miley for a pedicure knowing she had already told me during the previous five months "she did not like to do pedicures." Well that was my mistake! I came in time for the first one and she took a "Walk in" before me. I waited twenty minutes.The pedicure was just ok. I tried a month later to give Mikey a second chance. My appointment was at 1:00. At ten minutes before I got there as I was on my way she said I had to come at 1:30. She had taken another person who walked in for fingernails who wanted different polish changes, What's the point in having an appointment if the nail salon does not respect you enough to keep their appointment with you?
