I would strongly caution anyone considering It Can Fit LLC, specifically Durmel Coleman and Adolphus Pinckney. I scheduled a move that was supposed to begin at 7:00 a.m., and the time was repeatedly delayed throughout the day (9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.), with little to no consistent communication. Meaningful communication did not begin until approximately 4:00 p.m., after the day was already lost. The agreed-upon terms were not honored. The job was supposed to include four workers, a 20-foot truck, and completion within 4-5 hours. These conditions were not met. At one point, they were unable to secure a truck at all, and I had to step in to try to resolve the situation myself. As a result of these failures, I experienced over $2,000 in financial loss and significant disruption over two days. Additionally, their handling of the truck situation caused a $1,608 issue to be connected to my U-Haul account. While I resolved the matter myself, it required immediate attention and time to correct a problem that should never have occurred. After the move, I was informed by the storage facility manager that an item fell during the move and a breaking sound was heard. This was never disclosed to me at any time. During our interaction, Adolphus Pinckney stated, "I wouldn't blame you if you don't pay us anything--I'm quite sure you're not going to pay us anything." Despite that statement acknowledging the situation, I still paid the full contract amount in good faith. There was no acknowledgment, no apology, and no effort made to provide compensation or resolve the situation. Just had them for a move, and I was really disappointed with the results. They used almost no protective coverings for any of my furniture, and the truck they had was small, not like any other moving truck I've seen during my moves in the past. It was to say, that with everything being crammed in the small truck with no protective coverings, almost everything I had was chipped or scratched by the time it came out the other side, and my entertainment stand was actually broken. In addition, they were not careful at all when they were moving the things out of my apartment. They punched a hole through my dry wall and left scratches and gouges along my walls, especially in the stairwell. The one thing I can say at least is that the movers were friendly and I still tipped them. I contacted my representative to see about what we can do to address the issue, depending on the outcome, I may update my review. read more

I am taking the time to write a review for It Can Fit Movers so that no one else experiences the horrible service of this unprofessional "company" . After corresponding via text we were originally quoted a price of $200 to move a large leather sectional from a home in southern New Jersey to an apartment in Philadelphia. After later speaking with a representative on the phone to finalize arrangements the price changed to $320. Given that we wanted to get the job done that day and be fair in our payment for the labor, we agreed to the price. Because this was a leather sectional I specifically asked the representative if they would use furniture covers for its transport and she said "of course". The time of the pick up was supposed to be between 2-3pm, they called and said they would be late around more like 4:30-5pm. Two guys arrived for the pick up of the sectional in southern NJ with a regular cargo van which already had a large amount of scrap metal in it's cab, they did not cover the sectional before moving it, and after numerous attempts at trying to shove the sectional inside a vehicle too small for the job - they ripped and gashed the leather in several places and forgot to pack three of the seat cushions. Part of our contract stipulated that after delivering the leather sectional they would remove our old sofa and loveseat and drop it off to a city dump close by. When the movers arrived with the sectional in Philadelphia we inspected the damage and told the movers to go ahead and just take the sectional to the dump, as it was damaged beyond repair with leather hanging off and missing three of the seat cushions - so it was not even unusable at that point! Again, the original contract included transport of the old sofas to the dump, so we told them to just take the sectional to the dump instead. They refused to take the sectional away like my contract stipulated and left it sitting on a city sidewalk, in front of my apartment building. After several brief conversations with someone at the company it was clear they didn't care about the damages they caused or the fact that they left a leather sectional sitting on the street - they even hung up on us during discussion. I was left to rent a truck to remove the sectional myself and take it to the dump as the city can assess fines for dumping items. In the end I lost money because they severely damaged the leather sectional we paid for and we couldn't even use it, and I incurred additional expenses renting a truck to dispose of it. It Can Fit Movers is totally unprofessional, subcontracts with people who clearly aren't professional movers, and I would never ever do business with them again! In summary: They jacked the price up at the last minute They were late They severely damaged the leather sectional being moved They did not bring along all pieces of the leather sectional being moved They dumped the leather sectional on the street, and They were rude, unprofessional, and hung up the phone refusing attempts to discuss how to remedy the issue afterwards I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE MOVERS! read more

"You lose 100% of the business you don't ask for". I've recently been charged with clearing out storage units we used when moving the Patriarch out of his house and into ours. There were quite a few leftover items that no one in the family needed, and these one by one were sold/donated. We were down to just a few items, which I listed on Craigslist. One was a spinet piano. I didn't get any bites, but I DID get a great text from It Can Fit telling me they would be happy to move that piano once I sold it. It was well written and friendly. Mom always liked someone who went after what they wanted, and I do too. So, when we finally needed to move that piano, I texted back to see if they could do the job in two days. Pretty quickly, despite it being like 8:30 at night, they responded - yep, they could. They asked some questions, I answered, they gave me a price, we agreed. Awesome. Day of the move comes and they're texting me to let me know they're on their way, they go there, were loading as I drove up, we went over, they moved it in, zero problems, zero damage. Super friendly, nice, took my debit card, and gone. I have moved often in my life - college, military, moving parents into assisted living, out of assisted living, into condo, out of condo into addition, then clearing storage units. Doorman was to let movers into building as I couldn't find parking. Movers did not speak to doorman and left. Because they coukd not return for 3 hours and I had to leave I left big note of what to take They did not take my 2 stainless steel trash cans in which were packed kitchen appliances and bed parts. The manager disposed of them. The movers also left with the keys to the apartment and have ignored all calls snd emails to return them! Can I give them zero stars? I needed to move a large piece of furniture (deconstructed into several large, awkward shaped pieces) from outside Philly to outside NYC on two days notice, and during the week of Christmas. Most places I called said they couldn't do on such short notice or were prohibitively expensive, but Durmel at It Can Fit agreed to take it on. I can't speak to some of the other reviews below mine on here, but all I can say is Durmel was responsive, polite and provided an all around seamless experience when I really needed some help. He arrived on time, helped unload everything and was very careful with it all. Was able to get my wife her Christmas present on time and earned *many* brownie points because of Durmel. Stay away. I contacted them a couple months before my move to get a cost estimate. I then contacted them again about a month before the move date to provide inventory, settle on the price, confirm availability, etc. They kept raising the price. I still agreed, and filled out the web request form, as they requested, so everything was good to go. They then stopped responding. I contacted them 4-5 times periodically to check in but they failed to respond--just a week before the move and after settling on written terms!!! Runnnnn away!!!! Extremely unprofessional, irresponsible and non-responsive movers. I would have given negative stars if that were an option! I hired ItCanFitMovers for a move from PA to NJ 2 weeks back and made a huge mistake of hiring these guys looking at the reviews on Yelp and Facebook. Please don't be fooled by the reviews like me. The movers paused the job before unloading the items from the truck in the destination location and made us pay fully before they unloaded the items. A total of 5 people showed up, seemed like they had some sort of heated argument going on. Two of them started physically fighting with each other at a point and started throwing the boxes, furniture and everything. We were extremely scared and felt helpless. Most of our furniture was damaged/scratched, one of the TVs (50inch) was broken (pictures attached), the movers missed delivering few items: 2 bed frames and a car roof rack, which we still didn't receive to date. They were supposed to assemble the beds which they didn't. There is no proper response from the company or the mover. I have literally been trying to call/text/email them for days now and begging them to at least return the missing items which they said they have. I have been extremely patient with them, reached out to them numerous times and even offered to pick up the missing items if they can't find time to deliver. It Can Fit wonderfully delivered a couch to our house! Our house has extremely skinny hallways. At first it seemed impossible to get the couch in. But they were persistent! They removed the legs from the couch and then did quite a bit of maneuvering. The two movers were extremely kind and friendly. They shook our hands before they left. I hired this company for a recent move (8/31), while they may be able to handle small moves and individual items this is NOT a professional moving company. 1) They were scheduled to arrive between 9:30-10:30, after calling to say they would be an hour late they showed up at noon. 2) They did not come prepared with hand trucks or furniture wraps. 3) Upon arrival, because they were behind, there was a bit of confusion and uncomfortable hast leading to the destruction of a bookcase. 4) The coordinator of my job left to do another, because they had no copy of the submitted check list, several items were left that were on the list. i.e. the 2nd bench to my dining table, my 2nd nightstand, a bookshelf, and coffee table. 5) Several items that were not on the list were taken, including my neighbors mail. They promised to return it to the old location. They did not. 6) When I initially called to rectify the situation, none of my calls were returned. 7) I finally left a message on their FB page and the owner of the company called me to tell me his employees had done my move off the books and he would investigate and keep me informed. This has not happened. I now have to hire another mover to fix this at an additional cost. read more

Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced and to call themselves a company is a crime. Said they would show up between 8-9am and didn't arrive for pick up until 7pm. Phone calls went unanswered and time delays were stacked upon excuses and excuses as to why they were not there even as 3pm came and went. If you want a proper move, look elsewhere. This is pure robbery. Plain and simple. Even the Movers told me they didn't know about the job until 12pm. The "truck" was a shelled out van and couldn't even carry the necessary furniture. It Can Fit did an amazing job moving us from our one bedroom apt to our new one bedroom. They accommodated our somewhat unique situation in needing to be completely vacated from our apt by 11am on the 31st mandated by our landlord, and arrived on time at 7:30 to get the job done. They were friendly and professional, communicated with one another very well, and made the whole process very low key and low stress. I have had movers before that yell at one another and get very frustrated, because the whole process does require a lot of patient communication, but this family run business really flowed in their communication styles and mellow vibes. Great flat-fee price, great communication skills with the client in quick text message, email, and phone responses, and fit almost our entire apt into their van, seemingly magically. (We did have a lot of broken-down ikea furniture). I'm very grateful to have had a group of movers so friendly and mellow to have transitioned us in what could have been a very stressful process, especially considering the 11am move out mandate. I live in a really narrow house so when the movers showed up with a couch we had bought and it looked like it wasn't going to fit, we thought we would have to just return the couch. But the guy told us that the name of the company is "It Can Fit" and if he didn't think it could fit then he wouldn't be wasting his time with it. I really, really wanted to like It Can Fit Movers. I had an incredibly awesome experience with everything except...the move itself. ICF gave me a great quote when I initially called to schedule my move, and I booked immediately based on their price (they give you a flat fee for your move, irrespective of how long the move takes, which is really nice). Brittany was very easy to work with and answered all my probably-slightly-annoying questions with a smile (it sounded like she was smiling on the phone, at least). The night before my move, another ICF employee called to review the inventory of my apartment, and after listening to my very comprehensive list of items, told me that he thought it would be better if they sent me a larger truck, which actually came with a much higher price tag. But, he said that he didn't think it was fair to ask me to pay so much more money on such short notice, so we ended up settling on a middle price, which I was very comfortable with, and so appreciated his flexibility and willingness to understand my sticker shock. On the day of the move, two movers showed up - they were exactly on time and called to let me know when they were close. After that though, things went downhill. The truck was small (much smaller than I expected, considering this was a larger truck than what they had planned to send my way), and was filthy on the inside - tons of dust and what looked like chipped paint - it just needed a good sweeping and clean out. The movers had no tools, no rope and no blankets to shield any of my furniture - but I trusted that they knew what they were doing, since this is their job.... They got all of our boxes out of the apartment first, and had absolutely no regard for which side was up, which ones were labeled "dishes," etc. They pretty carelessly just wanted to get everything in the truck, which applied to how they handled my furniture as well. Nothing was protected or handled with care - most of my furniture is now nicked, some drawer handles fell off, my leather chairs rubbed together and kind of damaged each other - you get the picture. Ultimately, they did run out of room in the truck, and had to tie my mattress and box spring to the top of the truck, which didn't bother me per se, but was a little frustrating, considering they didn't have rope (luckily, we had some of our own) and because my truck size had already been upgraded! They also really struggled to handle some of my larger furniture, like my couch, which had to get through a small door - but a more professional company had no problem when I moved in to the apartment. ICF pretty seriously damaged my door frame and ended up having to destroy the couch in order to get it out of the space (to be clear, I was planning on leaving it curbside anyway, but did not expect it to be obliterated!). Getting to my new apartment was where things got a little worse. My new apartment is up two flights of stairs, which I had clearly stated when I booked ICF. The stairs are not narrow or windy, but are fairly steep, especially when you are carrying heavy things like, oh, furniture. One of the movers was amazing and basically didn't stop carrying things up and down, but the other mover was clearly struggling with the heat and work load - he did very, very little to help. He unloaded the truck, but left it almost completely up to me, my fiance and his partner to carry our stuff up the stairs. He took numerous phone calls and rests, and at one point, I was worried that he was about to pass out (and I did constantly offer water to both dudes throughout the day). He seemed much more like a guy who had casually volunteered to step in for the day than a professional mover. Overall, everything made it in one piece to my new casa, but I wasn't thrilled with ICF. Although they come out to be cheaper than some other movers, you definitely get what you pay for, and unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend It Can Fit for a serious move. read more

I just had the most awesome moving experience. Some seriously heavy furniture was being donated to charity and I needed someone to come get it and deliver it. I immediately thought of It Can Fit movers because they had previously moved some furniture from Coatesville Pa to Germantown for my son. Since that experience went well, I thought, why not call them for my own furniture move? Good call, if I do say so myself. Brittany and the two gorgeous guys with her came to my house within their one hour window (between 11 and noon). They were so pleasant and professional. I shook hands with all 3 of them. And then they went to work! I was getting rid of some rather large and ridiculously heavy bedroom furniture and I have a rather narrow hallway that has a turn before descending down the steps. I knew it would present a challenge for them and it did indeed. But no need to panic. These strapping young men handled all 5 behemoth pieces of furniture. Brittany handled some pretty heavy pieces herself. They were quick, super efficient and so personable! Your moving experience will be a memorable one if you call It Can Fit. And by the way, they don't break your bank. They're not trying to bleed your wallet dry. The price is super reasonable. I'm serious, people. Give It Can Fit a call. Update, it's been well over a month now, but multiple attempts to get It Can Fit to come fix/replace the couch have failed. They haven't even bothered responding to my review and even if I get them on the phone, I can't rely on them to stick to any appointments they offer. If you are looking to move soon, my advice would be to find a more professional mover way ahead of time. These guys (ICF) were available last minute and I decided to bite with the lower rate that they quoted, but do yourself a favor and plan your move ahead of time and don't think too much about any slight price difference. So my friend and I moved to a larger space- meaning we had to move two apartments in the same building to another in that building. We had some time to explore mover options. Most of the companies wanted to charge us a gas fee, truck fee, and other ridiculous fees even though we did not need a truck, just the labor. We knew we were only going to need them for the furniture as we were fully capable to bring all the other randomness ourselves. It can fit, was the best price, the most professional, and the most accommodating. They moved us within 2 hours and were kind and helpful the entire time. They were on time (early) and just an amazing help in a chaotic day. We will definitely be using them again. read more

Would NOT recommend these movers. I had to reach out to them to verify the service. They would not answer any of my calls and would only respond via text which was very frustrating. They called to confirm the night before but then in the morning of they cancelled an hour after they were supposed to get to my apartment. They are unreliable and it felt like a scam. DONT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. They promise you one quote and when you book them and change your schedule they do not even bother to notify you that they are not coming. When you finally reach them they up the price. Twice I changed my schedule and they never bothered even to text me that they were not coming. They than processed to assure me that they would come the next day and again the next day never showed up or even bothered to text me back regarding not showing up for the job. THERE MAILBOX IS ALWAYS FULL, so there is no way to get hold of them. They only answer sporadically. They promise but fail on showing up for the job and fail to notify you that they are not able to do the job. So dont bother with this poor excuse of a moving coming. I can understand if they bothered to call or text me that they are unable to come that day but to not even bother to notify you that is totally unprofessional. I moved on 6/28/15 with an 8-9 am arrival time. 3 movers showed up (Durmel, Khymel and Staton) took a look around my one bedroom apartment and got to work. The whole process took only an hour and a half (loading from a 1st floor and unloading to a 2nd floor). They were swift, professional, respectful, and very organized. They made the overall process so much easier for me with this being my first big move. I would highly recommend them, and I will definitely use them again if needed. read more
