Recently, I bought a pool table on the marketplace and needed it to be moved. After discussing pricing and dates, the final move went perfectly smooth. They came over and picked up the table while it was disassembled, then moved it to my house and carried all the pieces down to the basement. Even the heavy slate was carried down with no problems. From there, it was reassembled and looked amazing! The movers were great and they were really funny guys. The pricing was also very fair. I would strongly recommend this moving company to everyone who needs help in the area!

Just had them for a move, and I was really disappointed with the results. They used almost no protective coverings for any of my furniture, and the truck they had was small, not like any other moving truck I've seen during my moves in the past. It was to say, that with everything being crammed in the small truck with no protective coverings, almost everything I had was chipped or scratched by the time it came out the other side, and my entertainment stand was actually broken. In addition, they were not careful at all when they were moving the things out of my apartment. They punched a hole through my dry wall and left scratches and gouges along my walls, especially in the stairwell. The one thing I can say at least is that the movers were friendly and I still tipped them. I contacted my representative to see about what we can do to address the issue, depending on the outcome, I may update my review.

    Text conversation with Mark

Mark's movers no showed and then blocked my number after telling me his guys were coming from 2:30Pm-7PM. Wasted my time and money. Rented a truck and didn't get my things moved.

I am taking the time to write a review for It Can Fit Movers so that no one else experiences the horrible service of this unprofessional "company" . After corresponding via text we were originally quoted a price of $200 to move a large leather sectional from a home in southern New Jersey to an apartment in Philadelphia. After later speaking with a representative on the phone to finalize arrangements the price changed to $320. Given that we wanted to get the job done that day and be fair in our payment for the labor, we agreed to the price. Because this was a leather sectional I specifically asked the representative if they would use furniture covers for its transport and she said "of course". The time of the pick up was supposed to be between 2-3pm, they called and said they would be late around more like 4:30-5pm. Two guys arrived for the pick up of the sectional in southern NJ with a regular cargo van which already had a large amount of scrap metal in it's cab, they did not cover the sectional before moving it, and after numerous attempts at trying to shove the sectional inside a vehicle too small for the job - they ripped and gashed the leather in several places and forgot to pack three of the seat cushions. Part of our contract stipulated that after delivering the leather sectional they would remove our old sofa and loveseat and drop it off to a city dump close by. When the movers arrived with the sectional in Philadelphia we inspected the damage and told the movers to go ahead and just take the sectional to the dump, as it was damaged beyond repair with leather hanging off and missing three of the seat cushions - so it was not even unusable at that point! Again, the original contract included transport of the old sofas to the dump, so we told them to just take the sectional to the dump instead. They refused to take the sectional away like my contract stipulated and left it sitting on a city sidewalk, in front of my apartment building. After several brief conversations with someone at the company it was clear they didn't care about the damages they caused or the fact that they left a leather sectional sitting on the street - they even hung up on us during discussion. I was left to rent a truck to remove the sectional myself and take it to the dump as the city can assess fines for dumping items. In the end I lost money because they severely damaged the leather sectional we paid for and we couldn't even use it, and I incurred additional expenses renting a truck to dispose of it. It Can Fit Movers is totally unprofessional, subcontracts with people who clearly aren't professional movers, and I would never ever do business with them again! In summary: They jacked the price up at the last minute They were late They severely damaged the leather sectional being moved They did not bring along all pieces of the leather sectional being moved They dumped the leather sectional on the street, and They were rude, unprofessional, and hung up the phone refusing attempts to discuss how to remedy the issue afterwards I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE MOVERS!

I finally got a job in NYC, so I had to move to Jersey City. Being new to the area, I didn't have any idea of the movers in the Philly area. After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for hard working, honest, reliable and dependable movers

His quote was a few thousand lower than it ended up costing me; I paid the highest amount that I heard from friends in my previous neighborhood who moved to the same development but their movers were not available. He later offered to help bring in some of the boxes but we were so frustrated by how much work we had ahead of us we just couldn't comprehend having him come over but as we were getting to the end we had some heavy items that needed help to move and I tried recently to call him and he doesn't answer the phone. That is why I wouldn't trust anything he says! BEWARE! No matter what is said get exact price written down, what is exactly is included, watch how they wrap everything and fragile items you should take yourself and be wary if they say boxes are included! I originally thought it went well till I started to unpack. Now first off I had an estimate including them to unpack but they misjudged the amount of work that was required. So it ended costing me triple the price and they didn't have the time to unpack. They also only marked half the boxes with what was in them making it very frustrating for me to know what was worth to unpack immediately. Upon moving the boxes that they piled up triple high and very heavy caused the move to be extremely difficult since we are in our 70's. Upon opening the boxes the items were wrapped and re-wrapped with so much clear plastic that we spent hours cutting through to get to the items. They did this to many things that were non breakable pieces like boxes of cereal but a vase from Greece was wrapped in paper and was broken in pieces. A cup from Russia also broken was thrown in with the vase and a piece of paper place between them no wrap on the cup. My small 2 drawer file desk was emptied in a box mixing paper clips, rubber bands, pens, markers, and everything else that was in jars. All our items with cords instead of keeping them together they were all thrown in different boxes and still have not found them. We have a very heavy sewing table with machine needed taken up to the walk up attic(our second floor) it is still sitting in the garage and now we have to hire someone else to take care of it otherwise we can not park in the garage. DO NOT HIRE THEM! THEY Will PROMISE TO DO THINGS; BUT BEWARE!! ALSO I WAS CHARGED FOR EXTRA MATERIAL; THEY USED SO MUCH MORE THAN NEEDED!!

They called me when they were 45 minutes away and arrived promptly. When they arrived, they were organized, professional, and fast. With 3 guys, it took under 2 hours to unload a 15 foot U-Haul. My final total plus processing fee was actually lower than quote range they gave me. The best bit: my front door was sliiiiiiightly too small to fit my couch through. I was mentally over everything to do with moving at that point and was going to say we could put it back on the truck and donate it. But what did the Old City guys do? They tried to take it through the window, which was also slightly too small! They had to disassemble the window, bring my couch in, then put the window back together! I'm honestly still impressed at the dedication. Other stuff: They responded to my quote request through their website in less than 1.5 hours. Their email communications were very thorough about guidelines and policies, which I appreciated a lot during a hectic move.

With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

The dispatcher Paul needs anger management lessons…read more My friend recently moved across town and ordered Man With A Van movers as they had good experiences with the company in the past. Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.
