We both went with vanilla, and it was exactly what you'd expect. The espresso was made fresh, and the balance between the hot espresso and cold ice cream was perfect. Seating inside is limited to a few bar stools, but if you walk just outside and around the corner, there's a breezeway seating area with comfortable chairs and a nice coastal breeze. We got the big kahuna sized POG, lychee, and peach shaved ice and decided to get it Hawaiian style, which includes vanilla ice cream in the middle. I believe I spoke with the owner, Eric, who was very welcoming and friendly. I can tell he cares about his customers because he interacted with every single customer that came in. The shaved ice just melts in your mouth. It was so refreshing and cooled us down. The peach flavor was definitely the winner and overpowered the rest of the flavors. Eric mentioned that this was Hawaiian peach, so it's not your normal peach flavor. I had a great experience here and will be back if we visit Pismo again!
