Great vibe, friendly service, love the food and the generous portion. Opened just a few weeks ago, so the server still learning the menu, but everything tasted great, I esp enjoyed the steam beef brisket which is like a beef rolled up with green onions cooked with Napa. So tasty! I wanted to go back with an army to try all the other stuff.

Didn't get to capture all of the food before it was devoured right away. I don't know what I love more - the food or the service. This is probably one of the best Korean restaurant I've been to. Very lowkey but the food and service is amazing! So many options to choose from and I just want to try the whole menu! Will be coming back and recommending it to everyone!

Itaewon is a nice cozy bar and you have to check out the food. Everything we ordered so far has been amazing! We tried their bossam and it was different from the bossams I've had at other Korean restaurants in a very good way. Great meat quality and presentation. Also had the samgyupsal kimchi tofu and that was amazing as well. I'm looking forward to checking out the other dishes but so far it's been great. So check it out if you're looking for good Korean dishes in the neighborhood. Also a great place for a drink with friends. Nice ambience.

The Yelp reviews were mostly five stars, and it was touted to be a locals' favorite, so we decided to give it a try. We both chose the patty melt with a cup of vegetable soup. The soup sounded like an excellent choice on this cold cloudy day. The food, the service and the ambience were all wonderful. We finished off the meal sharing a slice of hot peach pie with vanilla bean ice cream. It was all fantastic.

Established (as the wall told me) in 1936, I expected "Polish" to be in menu alone...and I was wrong. The gal behind the bar had an accent. Halfway through the Bears game, I started hearing folks concerning and cheering in Polish. I felt like I had slipped into a cool little club to which I would never have otherwise been invited. Loud (but not too loud) and boisterous. I read some other reviews talking about rude regulars: rubbish. Chicago is loud and direct. If you don't like that vibe, the shoulders in this city may just be a little too broad for you. The pierogi and the pyzy were great, both served with sour cream. The beers, while not draft, had a wide, Euro-leaning selection but still respected some local favorites (Old Style). Good food. Good folks. Confusingly brilliant ambiance. You're missing out if you skip The Log Cabin.

Une Annee is one of the reasons to go to this pretty boring looking suburb. Hit up the bar for some cold ones plus on site made food. The prices aren't bad for craft beers and kitchens. A pretty impressive looking building. It's big and can fit hundreds. This is like a massive garage with a bar and a kitchen. First though it's a brewery. It's about $6 a pint. The one I liked the most was the Twist Of Wit. It's a wheat beer with Cara Cara oranges, coriander, and Meyer lemon. Tasted fruity but not too much. Also we got some food, which was actually good for a brewery. Vegan options are limited but there's a few. It's $6 for the Veggie Chili. This is vegan without the sour cream sauce. Also there's barbecue. There's pork belly and that kind of stuff. Beers are the best things to get here. It also has food from an on site kitchen. There's meaty options like pork and there's chili for vegetarians.

The day we came happened to be the day of the Kentucky Derby (side note - I picked the winning horse, though I did not bet on it!), so there was a good crowd of adults and kids alike. Although we did not order any food, the food selections coming from the kitchen looked good. Our friend favors the smoked sweet potato dish. I did like the sour kriek, though the Fresh IPA was so good that we bought a 4-pack to take home. Service was pleasant and efficient, and there is also a spacious outdoor patio.
