Well, the old style is great energy in this place is really boisterous and wonderful! I see people eating their big burgers at the bar and they have a great conversation on Friday night. The service at the bar was really quick unfortunately I didn't order any food but maybe next time if I don't have a Pequods on order next door I consider the pizza. Bringer Inn is an absolutely gem of a community meeting space. We walked in on a Friday night and it was packed and lively with plenty of people! We had some fish fries, pizza and cold drinks while enjoying some of the games on. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. This is really more of the food review since we didn't avail ourselves to the bar this time. I got the Reuben sandwich cause it had the star on the menu. It was alright but could've used a little (a lot?) more dressing. A lot of the others in the group ordered wraps so maybe that's the way to go? They have so many potato options (fries, chips, crinkle, curly, tots, etc) - and the chips, at least for me, was really fresh. Also, the prices are still pretty competitive - at least nowadays. It is one of the older establishments in town and it kinda is a little run down. I mean, some of it is character and some of it just a lot of loose extension cords running around. read more

For a bar in Morton Grove, they really act like we're out in the sticks in some hick town. Horrible environment and wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE looking to have a good time with friends. It's a dive bar in the middle of Morton Grove. Not being a Morton Grove resident I didn't know what to expect. I have some relatives that live I. The area and suggested we have a family black out Wednesday gathering here. I wasn't looking to get hammered, just pass some time with family and friends at a location convenient for everyone. The place was above my expectations. Drinks and food were reasonably priced. The food was better than expected and the drinks poured stiff at a good value. There seemed to be a local vibe to the place. With a few patrons getting a little out of hand, but all and all a good time. I'd like to come back on another day that isn't black out Wednesday Thanksgiving Eve to get a better vibe of the place. Will definitely give it another chance. You should to. Located like right between Pequods & Burt's Place, this is a good spot to knock down a few beers or just eat here! Walking in.... it's old school (founded in 1933) with a square bar surrounded by some high top tables. Lots of regulars and a great bartender quick to tell you about the history of the area. They have a pretty big menu of Appetizers, Sandwiches and of course PIZZA!! We started out with some ice cold Budweisers and ordered some homemade pot stickers and a pizza. The pot stickers were outstanding made by a local for the bar.. they said. The pizza was also very good with sausage & fresh mushrooms, cooked perfectly!! Great sauce with a little kick really made this pizza stand out. Prices are very average & Monday's are half price pizza. Been coming here for 3 months. Go on the weekend, only old fogeys during week. Tom is good owner/bartender. Food is good & reasonable, drinks excellent such as bloody gin & bloodiest whiskey. Fire department nearby, in case mouth Catch a Fire ! Has outdoor section. Good street parking on weekend. Section in back with video games/slots. Coffee shop across Fernald is dreadful. You step back in time entering this Joint..... the oldest commercial building in Morton Grove. Filled with locals the bar is hopping probably due to legal gambling in the rear. The bartender won't warm your heart but was occasionally pleasant. The beer cold and my turkey club sandwich very good. They used real sliced turkey breast and crispy bacon. A huge side of fries had me struggling to finish my lunch. The chicken Caesar salad was subpar with brown lettuce but tasty chicken. My boyfriend and I just discovered Bringer Inn not too long ago and I'm so glad we did! We fell in love with their pizza, almost like love at first sight! We also had their wings and fries, and they were also great as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the space is pretty good especially if you love going to bars. Yesterday was my first visit to Bringer Inn with a friend and it won't be my last! I had the cheeseburger and it came with a choice of potato varieties. It was a thick, juicy burger and came with lettuce, tomato and onion. My friend had the 1/2 slab rib special and for $8.25, it cannot be beat anywhere! Will return for sure! read more

The service was great, and the bartender at this place was really nice and respectful. My friends and I decided to go there after a bad experience with a rude barmaid at ALL INN bar. You should definitely check out this place. They treat people with respect and know how to verify IDs properly. "Bringer Inn, we'll do the rest!" When I heard this, their unofficial slogan, I was looking in the Yelp app for "Bring'er In!" and naturally couldn't find it. Luckily, my companion was driving and he knew where to do, 'cos I'd have died of exposure out there. What it is, is a crappy dive bar in Morton Grove. This is good! In the land of subdivisions and ugly new construction, this place stands out as a janky eyesore. A janky eyesore full of character and personality, that is! Our big group repaired to one of the dining rooms, the kids ran wild, while the adults imbibed. The beverages: standard issue, but they have Schlitz. The pizza: WHOA. Whoa. This is not in Chicago? Delicious stuff, this. Flaky, crispy thin crust. We got cheese, pepperoni, Meat Lovers and a veg pizza. Everything was piping hot and ooey-gooey cheesy delicious.
