Gangnam Korean BBQ was definitely a different experience--very much an Americanized take on Korean BBQ. That said, the food was pretty good. My cousin really enjoyed the Japanese Wagyu and Australian Wagyu beef, while the LA galbi (bone-in) was the standout for me. It was almost as good as a home-cooked version, which says a lot. The service was about average, as they didn't check in on us much, and it felt like customer attention could be improved. The atmosphere was also different; having lived in Korea, I found it a bit confusing, but it was still okay overall. All in all, Gangnam Korean BBQ is worth trying, and I highly recommend not missing the bone-in LA galbi.

I went for lunch, I felt bad that during my time eating we got changed our waiter/waitress 3 times, they were respectful and amazing working on it, but they were being sent home due to the place not having enough customers coming in (Which is not their fault, it is management's) Food was okay, not the greatest, overpricey the combos and some of it came out frozen, so I can't talk about good quality meat at all and the seafood pancake it was all green onions and barely some pieces of seafood to bite. Wouldn't recommend a at all this place due this bad experience

I didn't take a lot of pictures because it took FOREVER for everything to come out. I get it that they're adjusting to the opening....but like how long does cutting raw meat really take?? I can understand it taking forever for our bibimbap to come out (which it did btw) but these are the meats.....speaking of bibimbap, our server mixed it for us, but bless his soul he wasn't going to add gochujang or anything in it. LAWDDDD. We had to ask for it and he came back with it. The rice and everything was really mushy too. As for the quality of the meat, they're okay? Nothing crazy special or notable. The portions are small as we ordered the combo for 4 and the combo for 2 bcos we had 6 people and the combo for 4 people seemed like the same amount for 2 people. The dumpling it came with the combo was okay. Tasted different, I wasn't a fan. The corn cheese was also whatever too. Their banchans were okay. The kimchi was decent. They ran out of bean sprouts too. There was a table behind us that came after us, also had 6 or more like is. They got all their food before us, ate, and left before us....sooo I'm not sure if it's the server we got or the service in general. The manager did apologize for the delay and such...but like after being there for 3 hours, he finally came at the end when we were about to pay.

I was so excited when I saw this while driving to work. I've been waiting for this place to open up and I'm so glad I came here! Food was fantastic and fairly priced for how much food and service you receive. Wiktoria was a really kind and attentive server, she made the place feel special. Fun and explorative vibe with the menu that is privy to new enjoyers of KBBQ, but not overly explanatory for frequent buyers. They have a raffle to win Blackpink tickets if you dine in and follow their instagram and TikTok, so I'd recommend coming just for that too! Really loved this place and so glad it opened up. I had a great time! :)

Here's your complaint in English: Among all the meats I've ever had, this was the toughest and most flavorless. The "beef combo" set unexpectedly included chicken, which was served last--by then, the grill was completely burnt, but the staff didn't even bother to change it. We had to grill the chicken on the charred surface. The bibimbap was overly sweet, and the kimchi jjigae tasted like it was made with anchovy broth and rinsed kimchi--something I've never encountered before. The side dishes were scarce, and overall, the food quality was far from what I would expect from a proper Korean-style meal. Frankly, I'd be embarrassed if foreigners thought this was authentic Korean cuisine.

Keeping in mind that they are open all of 4 days at this point and this is more soft open than review ready establishment, I think they performed admirably! There were minor hiccups but that by no means overshadowed the highlights: we ordered from the combo meals (which are the best deal if you want a tasting menu that doesn't leave you hungry!) - the meat was delicious and flavorful, succulent bulgogi, beautifully marbled galbi, pork belly, chicken, soups (more on this later), side dishes, seafood pancake, dumplings and finishing with fried rice prepared in a cast iron skillet tableside. We tried both soups on offer and l absolutely am going to crave the kimchi soup, it's just that good. The order of the dishes, presented had intention behind it and it was apparent in the care and quality that they wanted to take you on a journey. I can't recommend Gangnam enough and if you try it I am confident you'll leave full and happy and will look forward to returning.

Kimchi fried rice with pork belly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. More than just a restaurant. It's a cool experience. Staff was helpful and nice. You feel like you're on the streets of Korea with the decor. Am I supposed to

Service was great. The minute you enter the restaurant they greet you with friendly face and seat you right away. The waygu is so good it melts in your mouth. The LA galbi with sauce is 5 stars

It has been some time since we have visited Global Brew Schaumburg so we were way overdue…read more We visited early on St. Patty's Day and enjoyed a few samples before commiting to a pint. I love that there are always a few great ciders on tap or in cans too. Hubby tried the Chimay and also a Phase Three (P3) Amber. P3 always has some great IPAs or a Stout to try, but I really like the smoothies too. It is fun to sit at the bar and look at the many cans, bottles and drink options. Happy hour tater tots with beer cheese are a perfect shareable bite. We left before the night got too packed for Shenanigans and trivia. Always terrific and friendly service here. We love the pet friendly patio when it is warm outside, minus the cigarette buttes on the ground out back.

No patrons appeared annoyed/ angry... so he was keeping up fairly well. I would say that at 9pm when we arrived, it was fairly loud inside with the trivia going on. That's not my jam, but if it happens to be of interest, folks seemed like they were all having a blast. As soon as the trivia ended, there was a max exit from the establishment. There are a bunch of on tap and canned selections of different beers and a few wines and sangria on tap, as well. We didn't get any food, but there was reportedly a couple of kitchen staff working. I did see a platter of tots being brought out that looked good. Overall a great place to dive into for a good beer. It's in the same parking lot as Binnys.

They offer lot on tap, mixed drinks and mocktail/NA options which o always think is great. For the food, let's talk a bout the food!!!!! Those crab rangoon mozzarella sticks was a favorite for sure. They were a. Ice size, very crispy and the filling was top tier. Don't let me get started on that dipping sauce! 10/10 must try again. We also tried the loaded tater tots which were also delicious. The NA mojito was delicious. Food was expected for suburban pub fare but the menu having a vegetarian menu in a QR code was great for my friend. Fish and chips came with two very small pieces of cod. It was not worth the price point and did not have malt vinegar. The really appalling part of the visit was the raucously drunk businessmen at the end of the bar who were loudly bragging about putting their drunk friend into his jeep in front of the restaurant and letting him drive home. The men also took it upon themselves to touch my friend and I and get upset when we would not entertain his conversation and kept telling him to leave us alone and not touch women ever. The bartenders did nothing during this confrontation and continued to serve old fashioneds to these clearly inebriated men. Ambience? It's a suburban stand alone restaurant that looks like the granite counter section at a big box hardware store. There is a lot of potential for this place but we were sorely disappointed at the lack of care for safety for patrons and drivers.

Quick update in response to MaryBeth's review from July 17, since I was at the brewery at the time…read moreand saw the whole thing. Two young girls were repeatedly running in and out of the restrooms, slamming the doors, yelling, and disturbing other customers nearby. A staff member asked that the behavior stop. Instead of acknowledging the issue and correcting them herself, MaryBeth took exception to the correction and doubled down. I stayed long enough to see how it played out. Despite what she implies, no one was cited or charged with anything. The police responded, made it clear they were uninterested in the situation, and everyone went on with their day. People can certainly have different opinions about how the situation should have been handled, but this review does not accurately reflect what I witnessed. Most parents either wouldn't allow their children to behave that way in the first place or would simply correct them and move on. Writing a review that misrepresents what happened is another matter entirely.
