Nice lady and was there when you needed her to be. I got the Pasta Milano and loved it. Alot of sauce which I enjoy. It has pepper flakes and tends to be a little hot. You can have them adjust the amount of heat. My wife had the Mushroom and Spinach Raviolis. She really liked them. I tried one and it was darn good. I had the split pea soup for a starter, and it was good. My wife had a side salad and enjoyed it. Clean place, pleasant atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Once I moved the sauce aside, I found the chicken was charred to the point that it tasted burnt and was inedible. I left the meal exactly as shown in the photo because I couldn't eat it. Thank you for your response. I understand restaurants appreciate the opportunity to correct issues while customers are still there. My concern wasn't that the chicken had "grill marks" or that I didn't understand what Chicken Marsala is. The sauce and mushrooms covered the chicken, so I didn't realize how badly it was burnt until I had already taken several bites. Once I moved the sauce aside, I found it was charred to the point that it tasted burnt and was inedible, which is why I left the meal exactly as shown in my photo. I left because I was disappointed, not because I wanted to leave a negative review. Calling me a "keyboard warrior" instead of addressing the condition of the food only reinforces why I felt compelled to share my experience at your establishment.

The reviews made it a quick decision to head over to Teresa's Place! As soon as we entered, the staff placed us in a quiet area that made me feel "at home". Servers explained the menu and specials promptly. Warm fresh bread was a perfect starter since we had just enjoyed wine tasting. We ordered the lasagna and chicken D'Aglio. I chose a pesto sauce for my pasta. Their entrees as filling, as these come with minestrone soup, bread, and salad. I couldn't get enough of the croutons, dressing, and garbanzo beans with the fresh, crisp salad! When you're here, make sure to walk around inside to admire the decor and read their family's rich history, including photos with the Pope St. John Paul II. I enjoyed reading a bit of Italy geography and history on the dining table place mat too! This is a big restaurant with plenty of tables, especially ideal for bigger parties like family gatherings. There's so much to see and enjoy while you wait for your food! When I boxed up my leftovers, one of the staff came to me and helped me scrape the creamy, garlic and olive oil sauce from the chicken dish and scrape the pesto from the bottom of the pasta dish into my to-go box. This is the type of personal service I love and appreciate from family-owned restaurants! I'm glad we came across this lovely restaurant with wonderful staff and authentic, delicious Italian food!

I want to say many of the Strings locations have closed throughout the Bay Area, but this specific location in Jackson was such a nice experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was great ~ we ordered from the kids meal almost immediately, and they brought out a sippy cup and high chair within minutes. We ordered our entrees ~ I went with the Cheese Stuffed Shells and my husband the Spaghetti with hearty meat sauce and meatballs. We had yummy warm bread and olive oil/vinegar delivered to the table, and each entree came with a café salad or minestrone soup..so of course we went with both. The meal was fresh, comforting, and everything we needed and wanted for a quick stop to rest our bones for a nice meal on the road. Inviting interior, reasonably priced, and we even tried Amador Brewing beers, local to the area. To note, you can substitute gluten free pasta for an additional price. Extensive menu (including pizzas) for a little bit of something for everyone. Located in a shopping center, plenty of parking..would def come back when we're in town next year for our annual trip!

Out of this world. The breading was thin and crispy, and the dipping sauce was yummy. We had the catch of the day. It came with risotto that was perfectly seasoned and cheesy. My friend had the Parpadelle. She said it was prepared perfectly, and al dente just like she likes it. We definitely would return for some more spins around the menu. The first time I went to Pietro's, they had fish and risotto special. Every time I've went, they always had the fish and risotto special - and ordered it every time - because it is THAT good! This time I ordered the risotto special without the fish and it was especially delicious. Pietro's has an amazing menu and quite a few menu items I would love to try - but I just can't pass up the risotto - because it is THAT good! Pietro's evolved from a small family favorite restaurant to what you would expect at a fine dining franchised establishment. The mood is always vibrant and positive. And the service is even better. Overall, Pietro's is not just a restaurant, it is an experience - because Pietro's is THAT good!

The service was prompt, welcoming, and incredibly family-friendly (we had our toddler with us and felt totally comfortable). It really gave that warm, authentic Italian family vibe. Before our meal even arrived, we were treated to bread, polenta with meat sauce, salad, and soup--such a generous and delicious start! Appetizers: * Tomato bruschetta - served on flatbread with the perfect balance of olive oil, spices, and fresh tomato * Salami & olive tray - simple, classic, and nostalgic in the best way Entrees: * Chicken Parmigiana - perfectly cooked with a rich marinara, served with vegetables (we added gnocchi with pesto--highly recommend!) * Veal Milanesa - beautifully breaded and full of flavor, with veggies and pasta of the day * Veal Saltimbocca - packed with flavor, especially the sage--definitely a standout dish * Child's spaghetti & meatball - perfect portion and a great option for little ones Dessert: * Lemon berry mascarpone cake - dense, lemony, and filled with fresh blueberries, topped with a raspberry drizzle--just the right amount of sweetness * Vanilla ice cream for the toddler (they even offered chocolate syrup--thoughtful touch!) Pricing felt very reasonable for the amount and quality of food--comparable to other spots in the area. If you're looking for a special, memorable dining experience in Amador County, Giannini's is absolutely worth a visit!

I figured we couldn't go wrong with italian and this place was very close. I walked in and immediately loved the look of the restaurant. If you've been to Buca di Beppo it's kind of like that with lots of photos on the wall and italian statues around. It wasn't too busy and we were able to be seated right away. The table was set with a cute salad plate that I just loved the pattern of. Our waiter was young but friendly enough. The menu isn't the largest but it has all the staples. No pictures so I took to Yelp and Google to get a look at the food and see was was recommended. I settled on Eggplant Parmesean and my husband went with Fettuccini al Alberto. The waiter brought out bread and butter and parmesan cheese. The bread was ok, it didn't seem homemade and was a little bit like store brought sliced white bread. I was starving though so I welcomed anything to get started. I wish there had been olive oil and vinegar though. Next he brought out a big plate of polenta, which unfortunately was smothered in meat sauce. We had mentioned to him that we were vegetarians twice when we were ordering, so it was pretty disappointing to be presented with a meat dish. We pointed to him we couldn't eat the polenta with the meat sauce and he apologized but they did not offer to replace the dish with a regular red sauce. I was bummed because it looked really good and I really wish they had brought out a regular one. Seems like they could just use the red sauce as a standard so it After that there was a salad which had a red wine vinegar and olive oil, it also came with peppers, chickpeas and celery, which I thought was a nice way to add some color and flavor to the salad. We then were brought a lentil soup in a large blue bowl. The blue bowl seemed like an odd vessel but it worked. The soup was very tasty! Finally our entrees came. The entree portions were a little on the smaller side compared to other restaurants, however it is an appropriate amount considering how many appetizers they provide before it. I was surprised the eggplant parm didn't come with a side of spaghetti, but I could add some for $5. The eggplant was good, not overly fried and the red sauce was very tasty. My husband was very happy with the Fettuccini al Alberto (which was basically Alfredo). Overall this is kind of a funny place that had a quirky charm. I would come back again knowing what to ask for in terms of the polenta.
